Well, today was more fun.

Subject: The Men At Sea

The bottom line for the crew on the S.S. JulianSetUp is that they haven’t found Sheridan, and they’re in a big heap of danger, due to a monster wave coming their way.

Today was one of those days where you have to suspend belief and say , ‘that’s the way Passions is.’

This smallish motor boat being able to survive against the wave?

I don’t think so.

But, it’s Passions, and we’re supposed to believe in the truth and depth of Luis’ love. Not even a hurricane will stop him from saving Sheridan.

It cracks me up.

Luis is doing it because he loves Sheridan. Ethan is doing it because he loves Sheridan. What’s Chad’s excuse?

I guess it’s cause once upon a time, Chad used to be a brave-standup kind of a guy.

Only hired bomber Basil is whining about going back to shore.

I cracked up at the ‘special effects’.

Subject: Well, well, well…..David and Ivy FINALLY meet!

Grace and David are in the middle of their kiss, and Grace is remembering something.

Poor Sam. He looks like someone has put a stake through his heart; he can’t take watching them kiss.

When Grace comes up for air, she doesn’t say anything. David is sure that she’s remembered their life together, and Sam is sure that she hasn’t remembered anything.

Grace tells them that she DID remember the wedding.

Ivy is saying ‘AMEN’, while Pilar is doing the ‘Dios Mio!’ once again. Ivy thinks that this is her chance to get Sam, and Pilar says that she doesn’t want to believe it.

Grace tells them that she remembers the church, and the ceremony, and kissing the groom. David exclaims that Sam finally has the proof that he’s been ignoring – Grace remembers.

Grace then tells them that she remembers marrying SOMEBODY, and that she assumes it’s David. Sam asks her what she means, and she tells him that she can’t see the face of the man she’s married. David looks a little disappointed; Ivy is pleading for them to believe the Priest and David; Sam is suspicious, and Eve and Hank are trying to back up Sam.

Grace says that she needs some air, and Sam takes her outside.

Pilar comes out from the shadows and tells Eve that she’s willing to do whatever she can to help. Eve is about to discuss things with Pilar, when Ivy reveals herself, and expresses her ‘sorrow’ about what’s happening to Sam and Grace.

Eve doesn’t want to hear it. I loved seeing Eve and Ivy today – it was such fun. Eve says that Ivy is just thrilled about the turn of events, and that she’s a vulture for coming now. She chastises Ivy for having no shame, and asks Ivy how she plotted being around. Pilar does defend Ivy and say that it’s coincidence that they are all at the church, but, Eve won’t let up. She tells Ivy how wrong she thinks it is that Ivy is there at all, and she knows that Ivy is just brimming with glee.

David,  who has been eavesdropping, drops into the conversation, and asks why Ivy was called a ‘vulture’ by Eve. Ivy introduces herself to David and the Priest, and Eve tells them that Ivy’s been plotting to destroy Sam and Grace’s marriage for a long time. Ivy admits her relationship with Sam, and about Ethan, and Hank has to add his two cents in also – that Sam will never give up on Grace.

The look on both Ivy AND David’s faces were priceless. It was a true RME moment, because that’s what the two of them wanted to do. David was telling Hank that Sam doesn’t have a claim on Grace, and Hank reminds him that Sam has 20 years and 3 children with Grace. If THAT isn’t a claim, what is?

Outside, Grace is totally confused. Sam asks her if she’s saying that she’s in love with David, and she tells him no, but, facts are, she would never get married unless she was in love. And, if she married David, that means that once upon a time, she loved him deeply. She doesn’t know what to do anymore. They’re both scared.

I really enjoy this story. David and Ivy meeting means NOTHING BUT TROUBLE for Sam and Grace. I would love to see David and Ivy become ‘plotting friends’ together. Even bedmates. I could deal with seeing Ivy finally ‘getting some’ after all this time…LOL

I also can’t shake my thought from yesterday that the man in Grace’s ‘vision’ of the wedding looked an awful lot like Alistair Crane. Couple that with Alistair’s ‘fondness’ of Grace, AND the fact that Grace doesn’t remember the face of the groom……and, I’m suspicious. I can’t really make up my mind about David. But, certain things don’t gel. Yes, Sam is acting like a caveman over ‘his’ piece of meat, but, I also think that Sam’s ‘cop instincts’ are suspicious of David for a reason. One that we won’t find out about until down the road, but, I think his suspicions of David are very valid.

I still think this is the best written story on Passions.

Subject: " She has a better shelf life than Rebecca." – Oh, Julian!

Whitney and Theresa are worried about the guys on the boat. They are concerned that they will drown at sea.

As they are worried about the men, Julian and Bruce are having their own conversation. Julian’s already counting on ‘consoling’ Theresa when Ethan doesn’t come back. And, he doesn’t think this is such a bad thing. She’s a hot little number; he believes he knows what she’s like in bed; and she’s so young and nubile. What more could a man want?, Julian asks.

Bruce reminded Julian of Rebecca.

Rebecca who?, Julian asks.

Rebecca who thinks she’s gonna be the next Mrs. Julian Crane.

Julian has decided to dump Rebecca VIA EMAIL….

BWA HA HA HA HA HA

Julian isn’t heartless. He couldn’t possibly abandon Theresa in her time of need and sorrow….

Bruce rolls his eyes, and watches Julian slither over to Whitney and Theresa. He is already trying to ‘console’ her. It cracked me up as he took her hand, and wouldn’t let it go. Theresa’s trying to tell him that people might ‘think things’ if they saw them together like that, but, Julian doesn’t mind. He is already talking about Luis and the others in the ‘past tense’, and when Theresa asks him about talking to the authorities, he lays it on thick that he has tried, but failed. Whitney tells him that the guys will come back fine, and that he needn’t try to comfort Theresa. Julian leaves, and Whitney was like, ‘ What a creep’.

She wonders how Theresa could even stand to have him touch her, and Theresa says that she has to be nice to Julian so that he will get the annullment.

Whitney and Theresa get a surprise when the Justice of the Peace comes by with the wedding photos!

LOL!!

In full color, the bride and groom.

Whitney looks at them and says that it’s obvious that the two of them are drunk. She asks the JOP how could he marry them, and he replies that drunk people have the right to be married too. She asks how it could be legal, and he tells her that it’s very legal. Theresa asks about an annulment, and how easy they are. The JOP tells her that they can be quite difficult. This is not what Theresa wants to hear.

Now, if things weren’t already complicated enough, guess who’s come to Bermuda?

That’s right, Rebecca and Gwen.

They are battling the storm in a cab on the way to the resort. Rebecca isn’t letting grass grow under her feet. She wants to be there when Julian gets a divorce, so that she can become Mrs. Julian Crane. She knows when the word is out that Julian is free, all the women will be flocking to Julian- but, she wants to be there first.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Even IF you hate this story (which I don’t –at the moment), you have to admit that one of the most priceless moments in Passions History, will be the day that Rebecca is informed that all of her scheming has been FOR NOTHING!

Because, she is NOT going to be Mrs. Julian Crane.

Because, Theresa IS!

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Gwen doesn’t even know why she’s going to Bermuda. She thinks that it probably is ‘all over’ for her and Ethan.

Oh Gwen, I wish it was. You’re far too good a character to be latched to this mess. I had missed Gwen and Natalie.

Rebecca tells Gwen that she has to think more positively. She tells her that her instincts tell her that Theresa has done something all on her own that will hurt her chances with Ethan.

How true, Rebecca. How true.

Gwen vows to take advantage of an opportunity if it avails itself.

Once they arrive at the resort, Rebecca hones in on Julian and Bruce. Julian is shocked, to say the least, to see Rebecca. He doesn’t give her the enthusiasm that she is expecting and she wonders what is going on. To deflect attention from himself, he informs Rebecca and Gwen of Sheridan’s ‘death’, and the possible ‘death’ of Luis, Chad and Ethan.

Rebecca ponies up some phony sympathy, while Gwen truly is upset and sad about Sheridan and upset about Ethan. She asks why Theresa didn’t stop Ethan, and Julian comments that it’s because Ethan and Theresa weren’t as close as they once was, and he defends Theresa and blames Ethan. Rebecca is in shock that Julian would be defending Theresa about anything. Jullian covers his tracks, and then slithers off to talk to Bruce.

Bruce has a book of Bermuda law and reads to Julian the part about bigamy equaling jail time. He reminds Julian of what will happen to him and Theresa if they were to marry Rebecca and Ethan respectively. Julian says that Ethan is probably lost at sea, so she won’t be a bigamist, and as for him…he’ll stay married to Theresa. Bruce and Julian do agree that she’s a hot little number.

Rebecca is SO not in the game….LOL

Gwen notices that Theresa seems pre-occupied, and thinks she’s probably ‘scheming’ about something. Rebecca suggests that they go over and try to find out, so that they can use it against her.

Theresa is holding the wedding picture when Gwen and Rebecca show up.

Things are getting interesting…LOL
