Back in Time, Chapter 17
by ejcrane

That night, Julian lied in bed and ran a hand through the hair on his chest and couldn’t stop thinking of Eve.

They had made love to each other when they were stuck in Boston, and she loved him. But somehow, on their way home, something happened and Eve now seemed to suffer from a slight case of amnesia, and she hated him.

Turning on his side, Julian reached over and grabbed the telephone and began dialing.

A couple of minutes later, his private line began ringing.

“Hello.”

“Yes, this is Dr. Russell, I received a page from this phone number…”

“Ah, yes, Eve, darling.”

Eve looked behind her. TC was carrying a conversation with Sam and Grace. She turned back forward and hissed into the phone.

“How dare you call me; after what you did this evening!”

“Yes, you know…I wanted to apologize for that, Eve. I wanted to make it up to you, darling…”

“What?!”

“Eve, sweetheart, is that the hospital?” TC yelled from the table.

“Oh, is that TC?”

“That’s none of your business,” Eve said into the receiver and then turned back to TC and smiled, “Yes, honey, it’s the hospital…”

“Well, Eve…as I was saying, I want to make this up to you, by allowing you to have one night with me…”

“Never!”

“Or, I could just tell TC about us.”

“He’ll kill you!”

“Yes, I have thought of that, but, I’ll have my men protect me, but…what will he think about you, Eve?”

“Go to hell!” Eve said right before she hung up.

“Are you going to have to go in, baby?” TC asked as he put an arm around her when she joined them back at the table in Grace and Sam’s kitchen.

“No, no…” she patted his hand, “They just wanted to know some information about a certain patient.” She smiled.

Seconds later, TC received a call on his cell phone…

“Hello? Hello?! Look, I can hear you, but you need to speak up…”

Eve then felt something vibrate in her pocket and got her cell phone out. As the others looked to TC, who had gotten a prank call, Eve flipped open her phone and read the text message:

‘Next time TC won’t b getting a prank call, darling…I’ll b waiting. U have 30 mins. 2 make a decision…’

Feeling awful for lying to her husband, Eve decided it was what had to be done, and so, she fibbed and told TC that she was needed at the hospital, and soon left the Bennett’s.

Parking her car in the hospital parking lot, Eve then walked over to the car awaiting her and got in. Her pulse raced as her mind conjured up all sorts of pictures of her and Julian. Why was he being so difficult now?

Her hands shook as she rested her arms on the armrest in the limo.

Finally, they were at the destination…the Crane mansion.

Entering through the side door, Nancy gave a friendly smile to Eve and instructed for the doctor to follow her. Nancy knew what Dr. Eve was doing this late at night in the mansion, and it wasn’t for any “house call”…well, not the one people would be familiar with. She also knew that she better not open her trap or she’d have to deal with the wrath of Julian L. Crane.

Eve knocked on the door to Julian’s room. She breathed heavily, and sweated profusely for she was nervous at what was about to come. Swallowing as she watched the door slowly open, Eve met his serious face and did as his curt nod indicated and walked into his room.

Julian walked over to one of the arm chairs and sat back and stared over at Eve, who stood in the middle of the room staring back at him.

She sighed and uncrossed her arms…

“Look, let’s just get this over with, okay?” she said exasperated and began unbuttoning her shirt.

Once her shirt was off, Eve noticed that Julian was still planted in the chair, so she turned and pulled the covers back from the bed. With her back to him, she then divested out of the rest of her clothes. She then climbed into bed and laid there on her back and pulled the covers over her.

“Look, Julian, I have things to do…just hurry up and do what you have to,” she closed her eyes and readied herself for this disgusting time in her life.

“As you wish,” she heard his voice and heard the shuffling of his feet walk towards the bed.

Eve then squealed when Julian pulled the covers off of her, grabbed her knees and pulled them to the sides of the bed, causing her body to turn abruptly so she was now lying across the bed.

Julian then grabbed her arms and pulled her into a standing position.

“As much as I love your enthusiasm, we are going to take things much slower…undress me, Eve…”

“What?”

“You heard me…and from this point on, there’s no talking between us…”

With trembling hands, Eve reached up and untucked Julian’s shirt from his pants. She then reached for the top button and began unbuttoning each button, one at a time. It was finally open and then her hands separated it and pulled it off of his shoulders. Her hands were just about to go to work on his belt, but Julian caught them and requested something of Eve.

“Kiss me, Eve.” He said as he stared down into her eyes.

She took in a breath and let it out as her hands reached for the back of his neck. Inching his face closer to hers, Julian interrupted her…

“Not here, Eve…” he breathed onto her face.

Her brows wrinkled when she didn’t understand the meaning, but widened when he grinned and raised a brow.

Eve then closed her eyes and reached down again and unbuckled his belt, and then unbuttoned his pants and pulled them down. And just as she was about to get on her knees, Julian raised her chin.

“Not there either, darling…” he smiled and pulled her face to his chest, “God, Eve…” he sighed when he felt her warm lips upon his body, “Ow! Eve!” Julian yelped when she pulled on one of his chest hairs.

“This was such a mistake! I’m getting out of here…” she pushed from him and turned to walk away, but Julian caught her arm and pushed her back onto the bed.

“It’s a little too late to change your mind; you’re not going anywhere, Eve…” he spread her legs and laid between them, gently applying the weight of his body onto hers, “I know I said that there wouldn’t be words between us, and I’m breaking my own rules, but why don’t we start over and I’ll express how I’m feeling through my lips,” and he kissed her neck, “Through my hands,” and his hands ran up her body and cupped her breasts, “Through my body…OUR bodies moving as one,” he entered her slowly, allowing her to feel inch and inch of his hard throbbing member, “It’s been so long, hasn’t it, Eve?” he asked, hearing her cries of pleasure as he moved within her.

“No, no, stop! I can’t…I can’t betray TC…Julian stop!” she cried.

Julian pulled out of her and rolled off of Eve. He sat up and grabbed her clothes and tossed them to her.

“Fine, get dressed and get the hell out of here!” he growled and picked up the phone, “Yes, Dr. Russell’s visit will be cut short for the night…thank you.”

Eve covered herself with her clothes and watched as Julian pulled on a robe and fixed himself a drink. He then opened the doors to the terrace and leaned against the railing. Hearing the door close behind him, Julian turned to scan his empty room. He sighed. Eve had really left him, even after feeling the two of them become one…she still hated him. Turning back towards the ledge, Julian reached into his pocket and pulled out a photograph…

“Don’t worry, baby girl, someday you’ll know the truth of your parentage…” he smiled down to Gwen’s picture.

Back in her own home, where she always felt safe, Eve was now worried that Julian would go through with his threats. Home didn’t feel so safe now. Sitting in front of her vanity, Eve couldn’t believe that she had let Julian talk her into letting him touch her again. Brushing her hair, her hand began to move faster through her hair as her mind went back in time and remembered just what happened a half an hour earlier. And now the bristles of her hair brush were moving at the same rate that Julian had been thrusting in and out of her.

“Eve, baby, whoa! You’re going to brush your hair out if you keep doing it like that,” TC laughed, “That was fast…I thought you’d be at the hospital all night.” he bent down and kissed the side of her head.

“Oh, honey…yeah, well, it was nothing really. You were on my mind the whole time,” she smiled and set the brush down and walked over to the bed.

“I was? Well, baby, as flattered as I am, I rather you keep your mind on your patients…” he chuckled and joined her in bed, “I would love to show you how much I love you, baby, but you know how I have to be up at the crack of dawn and practice with Whitney…”

“There will be other nights for us, TC,” she kissed him softly on the lips and cuddled next to him as he turned out the lights, “I’m pretty pooped from the party and work, anyway…” she yawned and turned on her side, but…

…once her eyes closed, the image of Julian upon her popped into her mind.
