Back in Time; Chapter 20 (Evian)
by ejcrane

Two months had gone by and Julian and Eve hadn’t come into contact with each other. Well, that was until Ivy dragged Julian to the police benefit. He remembered how it went the first time around at the flea market. How Eve spoke to him for the first time.

The way her voice sounded. It was obvious that she still had pent up passion for him. He smiled as he noticed her across the room. The two hadn’t touched since they made love in Tc’s shed on his red mustang. God, she had felt so good, and she wanted him…he knew it!

Would she still react the same way to him? He would just have to find out.

Ivy was speaking to the Russell’s and Bennett’s when Julian joined her…his eyes on Eve. Grace took notice of this and felt sorry for Ivy, for she was married to a miserable excuse for a husband. If only she knew that Ivy could care less about her own husband, but wanted Grace’s husband…

“Grace, I was wondering if you’d show me around…” Ivy smiled and walked away with Grace.

That left Julian, Eve, Tc, and Sam all alone.

Eve excused herself from the group while the two men looked to Julian, wondering why he was still there.

“Excuse me…” he smiled and walked away as both Tc and Sam rolled their eyes.

In the storage room, Eve found herself thinking about that day…the day she and Julian connected after so many years.

“Hello,” he breathed onto her neck.

“Julian!” she gasped as she turned around in his arms.

“Have you missed me?” he grinned.

“Ugh, not really,” she tried to walk around him.

“Oh?” his hand rested on her stomach and pushed her back, “Not even this?” he caressed her face.

Her eyes avoided his.

Of course that affected her, but she couldn’t let him know that.

“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” he traced her lips with his index finger, “Two months, right?”

Absent mindedly, she nodded and closed her eyes as her mouth parted to his persistent touch.

“Is it possible that we could have another glorious night together, darling?” he tilted her chin up towards his face.

“Never,” she slapped his hand away and exited the storage room.

“What do you say?” Julian heard his wife say to the Russell’s and Bennett’s, “Please say you’ll come to dinner at the mansion?”

He remembered that day. He did not know what had come over Ivy…well, until months later. The little wench wanted to invite the Russell’s and Bennett’s all because of a certain gentleman…Sam Bennett. It seemed the two had had a fling and shared a child together. Julian smiled at the thought of Ethan. Why couldn’t the boy have been his with his damn wife? Ethan was the only thing he practically did right, or so he thought. Well, now, he had a second chance, and he was going to have Ethan as his son for as long as he could and he was going to make sure he was the best father to him; to ALL his children!

Back to reality, Julian found the three people declining the offer, while poor innocent, gullible Grace accepted the offer delightfully…gratefully, in fact; acting as if she had just received an invitation to Buckingham Palace to see the Queen.

“Then it’s settled…you won’t regret this,” she said, while looking Sam straight in the eye.

Julian took a peek at Eve, who met his stare, but soon diverted her eyes. He gave the group one last smile and then dragged his conspiring wife away.

Upstairs, Julian stood in front of the mirror and straightened his black bow tie out. He could hear that the guests had arrived. Oh, he couldn’t wait to see Eve. Just remembering how delectable she looked that day, he closed his eyes and smiled as he recalled the moment their eyes met one another’s. And when they spoke, she seemed so hurt, but yet, he could feel the passion she hid up inside her, the passion they once shared together…

Minutes later, Julian found himself downstairs and greeted the guests only to have them brush him off.

“Hello, Eve,” he whispered behind her.

“Julian.” She simply said and attempted to walk away from him, but was startled as he brought her back to him.

“Not so fast, darling,” he grinned.

“Julian, stop! Tc will see you…” she hissed.

“So he may?” he shrugged.

“If you don’t mind, I have to call my daughter to see how she’s doing…” she jerked herself loose out of his grasp and made her way into the foyer to phone Simone.

Julian looked around and watched Tc and Sam engrossed in a conversation that neither saw Eve leave the room. Well, that was just the opportunity for him to follow after her.

“Whitney? I thought you were going to be…” she paused as he wrapped his arms around her from behind and began nibbling on her neck, “…out,” she finished and tried to wiggle away from him, but he wasn’t letting up.

Her brows then wrinkled when she felt his arms leave her body, but the confusion was suddenly replaced with widened eyes!

Julian had crouched down and reached underneath her dress and began removing her underwear. He had done it so swiftly that she had no time to debate it, plus, her own daughter was on the phone with her.

“Yes…yes, Whitney, I’m listening…look I’ll probably have to call you…” she sucked in a breath as Julian turned her around and pulled her top down, “…later…” she said out of breath as he began caressing her breasts.

The call was ended and now Eve was backed up against the table, well, until Julian lifted her on top of it.

“Oh, gosh…” she moaned.

“Tell me you want me.”

“I want you,” she cried out.

“Say it like you mean it!” he licked her lips.

“I want you!” she pulled him to her by the lapel of his tuxedo jacket and crushed her lips onto his.

“I don’t think you really do mean it,” he pulled away from her slightly.

“Why do you insist on doing this to me,” her forehead rested against his lips, “Julian, just stop! What we had in the past has been over…for YEARS! And now…now you want to ‘rekindle’ what we once had? After you hurt me? No, no…” she shook her head and pushed him away from her so she could return to the party…to her husband.

She sat up straight when she felt his hand again between her thighs. Her arms went around him for support, for it they hadn’t, she would have fallen off the small table.

“Why, why, Julian? Why?!” she continued to question him.

“Unzip my pants for me, Eve. We don’t have much time, darling.”

“No…I won’t,” her hands rested against his chest as she shook her head.

“Do it…time is ticking away, and I want to feel your body be one with mine…don’t you want the same?” his head swooped down and captured her lips with his; placing tiny kisses onto her lips, one after another.

Without realizing it, Eve obliged him…and they were one. Neither of the two moved. They stayed still and stared into each other’s eyes, pondering what their next move would be…

In the back of her mind she heard Tc calling her, but with her eyes closed, she had no clue where that voice was coming from, until Julian withdrew almost all the way, then plunged deep into her causing her to whimper. The voice was now more distinguished; it was getting closer.

“Tc!” she hissed and watched as Julian disentangled himself from her, turned, and began zipping up his pants.

“Eve? Are you over here?” Tc called out just as he crossed the doorway from the living room to the foyer and watched as Eve straightened out her attire, “Crane,” Tc growled, “What are you doing near my wife?!”

“We were just discussing the funds for the new wing at the hospital…weren’t we, Dr. Russell?” he raised a brow and smiled.

“Uh, yes, yes, that’s all it was, honey,” she smiled and grabbed onto his arm as her eyes met Julian’s naughtily eyes.

“Dinner is served!” Pilar announced.

“Julian…darling, there you are!” Ivy called out while she made her way over to him.

He rolled his eyes and Eve saw red!

“Tell me there’s no one else for you, but me,” he requested as he delved into her.

“No, I can’t,” she shook her head.

“No?” he asked as he kept moving within her.

“No,” she cried out as he held her up against the wall and began pumping up faster while he held her derrière in his hands.

“Never?” he whispered.

“Nev--…”

Julian silenced her with a kiss.

“Mmm…” she moaned into his mouth as her arms went around his neck.

Ten minutes before their encounter, everyone had just sat at the table for dinner when Eve excused herself to go to the restroom. Julian watched as Eve walked out of the room. He then called the phone in the library from his cell phone…

“I’ll get that,” he jumped up and smiled, “I shouldn’t be long,” he said and excused himself.

He then stood outside the door and heard the toilet flush. The water faucet was heard next, and then she opened the door only to find him standing in the doorway.

“I think this is a much better and private place for us to continue our conversation, don’t you think?” he pushed her back into the restroom and closed the door behind them.

Eve objected all she could, but could not fight him when the two stood in front of each other in the nude. And that’s when Julian pulled her into his arms and began kissing her…

“I wonder where Eve and Julian are.” Ivy said aloud.

“I bet he’s trying to go back on his word for donating that new wing for the hospital,” Tc rolled his eyes, “But if I know my wife…she’s giving it to Crane right now,” he chuckled and raised his glass to his lips.

Everyone laughed, but Grace…for she found it strange that the two were missing from the table at the same time…
