"Luis, its really you." Julian’s voice quivered. "But how?"
Standing up he found himself staring down at the eyes of a ghost. Looking toward Kendra he realize she was shaking tears streaming down her tiny face.
"Why were you with my daughter?" Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald rose from the ground, wiping blood from his lip. "How dare you even touch her." He yelled.
"Your scaring her." Julian warned. "How can this be? Your alive." Swallowing Julian began to smile. "Wait if your alive, does that mean, is my sister alive too?" He asked hope in his voice.
"No." Luis spoke flatly. "She didn’t make it."
"Oh." Julian whispered hanging his head. "But you did?"
"Your father was behind the crash." Luis spoke crossing his arms. "And then as I held my wife in my arms, his men pulled me away from her. He locked me in a basement of one of his homes and that’s where I’ve been. I escaped a few days ago however, took me years, but I did it."
"But, he’s been locked away for years." Julian spoke shaking his head.
Luis shook his head. "And you were foolish enough to believe that he wasn’t working from inside that place? That man could get out anytime he pleased."
Julian put his face in his hands. "He escaped from the hospital to find you." He groaned. "That’s why father is missing."
Luis crossed his arms. "Because I know every dirty secret you people have."
"Dad, Kendra!" Chad’s voice suddenly echoed as he bounded out of the door. Luis watched shocked as his daughter ran to meet Chad, her arms wrapping around the man as he held her tight.
"Baby, what happened." Chad whispered smoothing back her dark hair as he held her face in his hands.
"Look." She stuttered pointing toward Julian and Luis. She moved her arms up in the air. "That’s papa?" She spoke in a question as Chad lifted her into his arms. "Daddy is that papa?" She whimpered. "He, he hit Uncle Jules, and he yelled at him." She cried.
Chad walked slowly toward his father, trying to catch his breath. In front of him stood Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. His eyes became wide as he looked from his father to Luis. "Luis?" He questioned walking to his father’s side. "This is unreal." He gasp.
"You look well Chad." Luis spoke confused at the scene that was unfolding. His little girl had her arms wrapped around Chad’s neck as she whimpered on his chest. His daughter had called Chad, ‘daddy’.
"Father held Luis prisoner." Julian frowned. "He was behind the crash that killed Sheridan, but Luis, he lived. Father must’ve made it look like Luis was dead as well." Julian explained. "He’s been working while at the hospital."
"Kendra?" Luis spoke, "Kendra, daddy’s back." He smiled.
She looked around at him, her eyes puffy as she clung to Chad. She spoke no words, and Luis could see fear in her eyes.
"You scared her pretty bad." Chad frowned. "You hit my father?" He questioned. "In front of her?"
"I don’t want that man any where around my child." Luis spoke his voice stern. "I didn’t realize you had became so close to Julian."
"My father has changed." Chad spoke. "He’s a big part of Kenji and Matt’s lives. He’s there Uncle."
"What part do you play in their lives Chad?" Luis questioned still confused. "You seem so close to Kendra."
"I’m married to Theresa." Chad smiled. "I’ve been taking care of the kids for three years now, longer actually."
"You married my sister." Luis smiled. "I’m glad, I always thought you two would be good for each other."
"She’s amazing." Chad sighed. "And she’s going to be thrilled to see you." Chad nodded. "More than thrilled, she’ll jump for joy."
Luis nodded his head. "I can’t wait to see her, but first, Kendra, I could really use a hug."
Chad swallowed. "Go on sweetie pie." He whispered. "Its okay."
Kendra searched Chad’s eyes and nodded her head, as she finally let her father take her in his arms.
Chad felt a knot form in his stomach, suddenly a moment that was suppose to me beautiful turned bittersweet for him. As Luis held Kendra in his arms Chad stepped back. The children he had raised and loved, the daughter and son he loved with his whole heart, were suddenly no longer his daughter and son and there was nothing he could do about it.

Miguel stepped in the office, smiling as he watched Gwen work. Her hair was pulled back, and she was wearing a small pair of glasses that looked perfect on her. She looked so professional, he realized, so different than she did when she was with him.
"Look, I said tomorrow and I mean tomorrow." She frowned as she spoke into the phone. "You have canceled on me twice and I won’t have it again! Thank you, I’m glad you understand." She smiled waving Miguel into the office. "I’ll see you tomorrow." She finished as she hung up the phone.
"That was a interesting conversation." Miguel smirked. "I love seeing my lady putting people in their place."
Gwen rolled her eyes, "That was Mr. Kindale’s son, he’s took over for him and he really doesn’t get business at all. They have been our clients for years now, but Jeffery, that’s the son, he seems to think he can just do whatever he pleases. "
"Oh I see." Miguel smiled. "Well you put him in his place."
Gwen laughed as she stood up to walk over to Miguel. "I was worried you wouldn’t show." She grinned as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "But I’m glad to see your hear." She spoke placing a kiss on his lips. "I’ve missed you."
"I’ve missed you too babe." Miguel smiled. "Listen, there’s something I need to tell you. I’ve sort of put it off, but now I think I need to tell ya."
"Miguel, what is it?" Gwen asked pulling away. "You look worried."
"Not worried." He smiled. "Its just that Charity’s back in town."
"Charity?" Gwen questioned. "Charity Standish? You ex Charity? Your first love Charity?"
"Yeah that’d be her." Miguel spoke running his fingers through his thick dark hair. "And she’s changed babe, she’s different."
"Different how Miguel?" Gwen asked crossing her arms.
"She’s just different."
"Have you saw her?"
"Today." He nodded. "And our conversation was very interesting."
"She wants you back doesn’t she?" Gwen asked arching her eyebrow. "That little twit has came back to town to try to take you away from me. Its all over your face Miguel."
"Gwen relax." Miguel frowned.
"Relax?" She questioned. "What’d she say? Did she try something? I’ll kill her Miguel, I will!" Gwen fumed.
Miguel began to laugh. "Baby, its okay. I make it clear to Charity that I love you. I told her that I belong with you and what I shared with her was over. There’s no need for violence."
Gwen lowered her head. "Well, she doesn’t know who she’s messing with." She pouted. "I am the only woman for you Miguel, and I’ll pop that little twig in half if she even dares touching you."
"You." Miguel smirked touching Gwen’s face. "Are my soul mate and I told Charity that. I love you Gwen, only you and no one can ever change that."
A sigh came from Gwen as she wrapped her arms around Miguel’s neck again. "I’m so lucky to have you." She whispered in his ear. "My very own Opie Taylor."
Miguel chuckled. "Gwen Hotchkiss, you are one of a kind."
"And the best part is, I’m only yours." She grinned touching his lips with hers.

Beth Bennett stared over at her husband. "You know I didn’t have to come over here. I was safe at home."
Ethan sighed as he put Helena down to sleep. "Beth, I was worried. My former grandfather is a scary man."
"Former Ethan, and yet we still have to watch our backs."
"Darling, I am a part of the Crane family. My mother is a Crane, and Julian is still a father to me. I know you hate the downfalls of being in the Crane family but is part of my life."
Beth shook her head. "Its not that, I just don’t like leaving my home. I feel like a hostage stuck in this place like this."
"But I feel better having you and Helena with me. I would have been so worried if you had stayed at home. Maybe I overreacted, but I love you and I needed to know that you were safe here with me."
Beth smiled lightly. "Well we wouldn’t want you to worry."
"No we wouldn’t, you and Lena, you two are my life now. My two girls." He laughed putting his hands on her arms. "Your all that matters to me."
"But tomorrow I stay at home." She stated firmly. "And if your still worried, you can stay at home with us."
"Deal." Ethan laughed kissing her cheek.
"I love you Crane." She smirked.
"Its Bennett." He whispered. "Ethan Bennett, husband of Beth, father of Helena."
"Your still a Crane at heart Ethan, but I guess I’ll just have to forgive you for that." She teased. "I love you Ethan."
"As I do you Beth."

"Chad! Chad, someone said they heard yelling out here!" Theresa Crane yelled running out to her husband. She saw her husband and his father standing together, Julian with his hand on Chad’s shoulder. A strange feeling went over her as her eyes left Chad and inched toward the man holding Kendra. Her eyes became wide as she felt Chad put a hand on her back. Tears began to whell in her eyes as she became weak.
"Hey sis." Luis spoke smiling down at her.
"Luis?" She choked out looking up at her husband as he nodded his head yes. "Luis?" She cried out again watching as he sit Kendra down. "How can this be?" She whispered stepping back against Chad. "You're dead, we buried you." Her voice quivered. "No, I'm dreaming again." She shook his head blinking her eyes.
"Resa, this is no dream." Luis smiled. "I'm here."
"Your alive!" She cried out as she ran into his arms sobbing as he held her. "You came back to me." She whimpered. "Just like I prayed, you came back."
