The Imposter II (an alternate version), Chapter 10 (Evian)

“Hello in there,” Julian knocked lightly on Eve’s stomach as she slept.
Feeling tapping of some sort on her abdomen, Eve woke and stared down at
her husband who had his ear pressed against her body.
“What are you doing?” she laughed.
“Trying to see if he’s awake in there…” Julian whispered.
“Well, he OR she is probably the size of a walnut at the moment, darling…so,
they probably can’t hear you just yet.” She smiled.
“Oh,” Julian sat up and chuckled as his hand continued to massage the same
spot his ear had been.
Eve continued to stare at Julian. She was somewhat…shocked.
“What? Why do you keep looking at me like that?” he said and crawled closer
to her.
“It’s nothing…” she shrugged, “Just that…I’m so happy that you’re happy
about this. I mean, in the past with the other pregnancies, I understood why
you made me have abortions…”
Julian’s brows narrowed.
“…but that was in past…and right now,” she sighed, “We’re going to have
a baby!” she laughed excitedly and hugged him.
“Darling,” Julian held her tightly, “I want you to know that you’ve made
me the happiest man alive…I want your babies; I love you…” he paused as
his lips placed kisses on her neck, “And I’m so sorry I asked you to terminate
the past pregnancies…that was wrong of me…” he said sadly and sincerely.
DAMN, Julien! How in the hell could he ask that of Eve?! HIS OWN CHILD…DEAD!
There was no way in hell that Julien was getting his hands on his and Eve’s
child; no way in hell!
“Daddy! Daddy! Look at me, look at me!” Simone called out as she stood
on the diving board and dove into the pool.
“Good, honey…that was a terrific dive!” he cheered her when her head came
above the water.
His eyes strayed from his daughter, son, and Chad’s friend, who all were
in the pool to Eve who walked out onto the patio in a bikini.
“Darling…are you going to join me?” Julian called from the Jacuzzi.
She smiled at the kids and then turned to walk in the direction of the
Jacuzzi and joined her husband.
“When are they going to bed?” he whispered into her ear, “I want you, Eve,”
he sighed, “I want you NOW!” he grinned.
“Will you calm down,” she removed his hand from her thigh beneath the moving
water, “They’ll be gone in a…bit,” she leaned into him when he touched her
again, “PILAR! I think it’s time for the kids to go in…”
“Yes, ma’am,” and she turned to call the kids.
“…please make sure no one comes out here, Pilar. Eve and I would like some
time alone,” Julian smiled.
“Yes, sir,” Pilar smiled and helped the kids out of the pool.
“That’s it, Julien! Mm-hmm,” Eve cried out as she straddled him.
After making love in the hot water, both Eve and Julian were just too exhausted
and decided to take their party up to their bedroom, when Eve just couldn’t
wait and pushed Julian back onto one of the patio chaise lounges…
Steven, Chad’s best friend, waited for Chad to come back from the kitchen
with their snacks. He decided to put the PSP he was playing with down, and
walked over to the window. In front of the window was Chad’s telescope.
Focusing it in the direction he heard the loud moans come from, his eyes
widened when he saw Dr. Russell…Crane…NAKED!
His mind went back to those magazines he found in his dad’s briefcase,
and then to that day he walked in on his parents. Shivering from the memory
of his mother and father without any clothes on, he decided to move away
from the window. And just then, Julian sat up and brought one of Eve’s breasts
into his mouth. Out of curiosity, Steven decided to take another peek. Dr.
Crane looked just like the women in the magazines…sort of; he couldn’t help
but keep watching. His mother didn’t look like that. Steven loved his mother
very much, but she was no Dr. Crane…
“What are you looking at?” Chad asked his friend when he entered the room.
Steven then jumped and picked up the game again…
“Uh, nothing, I just thought I heard something…out…outside, that’s all…”
Chad nodded.
“Well,” he walked toward his bed, glanced back at his friend, and then
made a beeline towards the window, “What is so cool outside?” Chad looked,
while Steven tried to pull him from the window, “Ewwww, dude, you’re GROSS!
Those are my parents!”
“Yeah, and your mom’s hot!”
“Shut up, b*tch!” Chad shouted and threw one of the controllers to his
X-box at Steven.
Minutes later...
“What is going on in here?!” both Eve and Julian rushed in, wearing only
their robes.
“He…he was watching the two of you…with my telescope!” Chad began.
“Great show, Mr. and Mrs. C.”
Eve’s cheeks soon reddened and she rushed out of the room, while Julian
just chuckled…
“Chad, keep it down, you are going to wake up your sister…” Julian warned
him and then turned to leave, when Chad then spoke.
“You’re not my father!” he hissed and waited for Julian to turn back around.
“Excuse me?”
“I said, ‘You are not my father’ and don’t ever tell me what to do, unless
you want me to tell my mom everything…everything…” he glared at Julian and
raised a brow.
Julian’s nostrils flared, but he maintained the anger within him, and left
Chad’s bedroom. Out in the hallway, Julian couldn’t help but wonder why
Chad spoke to him that way. They had been getting along so well these past
few months…
Back in his room, Steven looked to his friend and wondered what had gotten
into him.
“I was joking about your mom; I didn’t mean to cause trouble between you
and…”
“Shut up…just leave me alone,” Chad said and sat next to the window.
Damn that Julian! He told him that the only thing he wanted from him was
for him not to hurt his mother, and Julian promised!
His mother was obviously in love with Julian, everyone could see it, even
he could see it. Why did this man have to lead her on? Julien was going
to be coming back sometime in the future, and Julian was going to have to
return to where he was from…and his mother…his mother was going to be…
…hurt. Devastated. Alone.
“No, Eve…I’m a little beat,” Julian pulled from her and made his way to
the bed.
“What’s the matter? What else happened back in Chad’s room?” she asked,
concerned.
“Nothing…nothing, I’m just tired, darling. Come on, you know we both have
to get up early tomorrow…”
