The Imposter II (an alternate version), Chapter 3 (Evian)
by ejcrane

Letting the water spray down onto him, Julian closed his eyes and relaxed…trying to forget last night happened, and that’s when…

…he felt soft hands and fingers upon his back…caressing him.

When he turned, he came face to face with Eve. She was grinning up at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing her body against his.

“I figured we could save water…showering together,” she said and met his chest with her lips.

Julian found his hands resting on her hips and swallowed.

“Eve…maybe we should…” he began shaking his head.

“Maybe we should…what, Julien?” her tongue darted out and wet his nipple as her hands reached behind him and kneaded his buttocks.

He let out a growl. What was she doing to him?

He couldn’t do this! He was promised to someone else and Eve wasn’t his; she was his brother’s! Yes, it did happen once, but it wouldn’t happen aga…

Eve’s hand just happened to reach down his front and found it’s way to his…

“Eve…” he panted, “Please…st…” but it was too late; Eve had already begun stroking him.

Maybe…maybe just this other time wouldn’t be wrong. I mean, he was just pretending to be his brother, right? And this was his wife. Yeah, yeah…that was it…

BUT…

Julian turned Eve from him and brought her back against his chest. Maybe if he wouldn’t look at her face, he wouldn’t feel so guilty. And soon, Julian’s member was buried deep into Eve.

She cried out every time he’d plunge in, every time his hands caressed her breasts, and every time his lips and tongue found themselves upon her hot burning skin.

It was working! Julian pictured Gianna, and oh, she felt good! But…Gianna’s face began to fade from his mind and was replaced with Eve’s.

No, no, NO! What the hell?!

He tried to focus again…focus on his fiancée. Julian smiled once again when he saw her face, but as soon as it came, it left once again. Eve was there…it was Eve! And Julian couldn’t fight it…

Her hair smelt so wonderful; smelt like apples…green apple, and her skin…it tasted so sweet…

This was wrong; this was so wrong! He couldn’t be thinking of Eve this way, he shouldn’t!

Julian ignored his conscience and continued to pump at a vigorous pace. He would not stop now, not when he had already begun. He would give Eve and himself this pleasure…a pleasure he’d later feel guilty about, but “later” wasn’t now, and now all he could seem to concentrate on was where his hands should rest; her hips, her breasts, or down…where her thighs met, so he could bring her even closer to his body.

“Your skin is so soft, Eve,” he breathed hotly into her ear, “I can’t get enough of you, damnit!” he cried out and began sucking on her earlobe.

“Julien…Julien…”

Hearing his brother’s name, Julian slowly pulled out of her and stepped away from her back. Their names sounded a lot like each other’s, but she was definitely calling out for “Julien”. Feeling him pull away, Eve turned and stared at him curiously.

“Is something the matter, Julien?” she reached out…

But Julian prevented her hands from caressing his body.

“You know, if we keep this up, we’ll be late for work…I…I don’t want you to be late,” he reached around her and turned off the water.

After the water was shut off, Julian stepped out of the shower and began drying himself off, leaving a confused Eve behind.

Dressed, Julian walked out of the bathroom and into their bedroom.

“Well, who is this beautiful young lady?” he smiled down to the little girl curled up on the bed.

Little Simone looked just like Eve, Julian thought. She was beautiful just like her mother. Why would his brother screw up what he had? What was the point in being married if he was just going to be with other women?

“I believe there’s a present for you in my bag. Now come on and climb on my back,” he sat in front of her, “And we’ll go get it…”

Simone hesitated at first, but once she heard there was a gift involved, she wrapped her arms around her stepfather’s neck from behind and climbed upon his back.

Eve stood in the doorway and crossed her arms. What was this about a ‘present’? She then watched as Julian handed Simone a gift over his shoulder.

Julian walked back over to the bed and set Simone down and watched as she unwrapped the gift.

“An iPod?!” she laughed, “Oh, daddy, I always wanted one of these!” she jumped on the bed and hugged Julian.

Eve shook her head. Simone was way too young to be having one of those music things.

“And our son, Julien? Did you get him a gift?” she raised a brow.

“As a matter of fact, I did, but until he apologizes for his little outburst yesterday, he won’t get it,” Julian said, looking Eve straight in the eye, “Now, darling,” he lifted Simone off the bed and kissed the top of her head, “Why don’t you go put that up in your room, and then meet us downstairs for breakfast,” he said and set her down on the floor.

“Julien, don’t you think you were a little hard on Chad?”

“‘Hard’? Uh, no I don’t,” he walked back into the bathroom with his shaving bag.

Eve followed, and while the two argued over who was “right” and who was “wrong”, Simone made their bed up for them and then left to her room to do as her father said.

“Eve I totally disagree…” he stopped himself when he walked back into their room, “Well I’ll be…” he laughed and stared at the made up bed, “That’s some daughter we’ve got there, Eve.”

“Thank you for making up our bed, sweetheart,” Julian thanked Simone at the table and pinched her cheek gently before sitting in his chair.

“You’re welcome, Daddy!”

Chad rolled his eyes, but smiled when his mother came in and apologized and kissed him on the cheek.

Julian shook his head. Eve shouldn’t have apologized; it should have been Chad who should have apologized.

After a quiet breakfast, Simone excused herself and picked up her plate and glass and took them to the kitchen.

That’s strange, Julian thought. Wasn’t that Pilar’s job?

He then snapped out of his thoughts when Simone came skipping back to the table with a damp dish towel and wiped her side of the table. She then disappeared back into the kitchen.

“Okay, I’m ready for school!”

“Boy, you are something!” he knelt down to her, “And for making up the bed, and wiping down your side,” he paused and reached for his wallet, “…here’s TEN DOLLARS, sweetie,” he smiled.

Both Chad and Eve turned their heads. Chad glared, while Eve gasped! How could Julien be so cruel?!

Chad jumped out of his chair causing his chair to fall over. All three of them watched as he left the dinning room.

Eve then stood, about to go after him, but Julian stopped her…

“Let me, darling.”

Julian made his way into the foyer…

“Chad STOP!”

“What do you want?!”

“I want to give you this,” he pulled the gift from behind his back.

“What’s this?”

“Why don’t you open it and see?”

Chad did just that and Julian watched as his eyes widened!

“A PSP?!” he looked up and met Julian’s eyes.

“Yep, isn’t that better than ten dollars?”

“YES! Thanks…” Chad looked down and composed himself, “…thanks, dad.”

He felt so uncomfortable calling Julien that. Did that mean he was betraying his father?

“You’re welcome, son,” Julian placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Thanks…but I can’t take it,” he handed the portable game to Julian, “…and I’m sorry…sorry for the way I acted yesterday,” Chad looked down, turned around and walked out the front door.

Julian sighed and sat on the third step. Eve saw the whole thing and came in and knelt in front of her husband.

“Thank you,” she smiled.

“For what?” Julian shrugged.

“For loving my children…OUR children,” she said and kissed him softly, “He’ll come around…don’t worry, just give him time…”

“I suppose you’re right, darling,” Julian caressed her cheek, “Well, I should be going…and you too…”
