Subject: Well, we're back to it being the worst story on Passions , i.e. Kay/Miguel/Charity

Now, I'm not Pollyana. I never thought Kay would hold out 'being good' for forever. I didn't even think it would make it til September.
But, this is ludicrous. They didn't even get to Warlock Island before she 'reverted' to her old ways.

I'll say it again: this is the WORST story on Passions, because there has been NO fundamental MOVEMENT in this CRAP since the beginning of the show nearly TWO YEARS AGO!

I've always believed, that when you tell a story, there is supposed to be PROGRESSION in it.
And, if you have a 'villain', who pulls one stunt after another. The nature of things is that upon the failure of one scheme, the NEXT scheme by the 'villain' will be worst than the last.

That's the pattern that we've had with Kay, who has pulled one horrible and nasty stunt on Charity after another with the culimation of it being when she:
A) Sold her soul to Hecuba
B) Helped Hecuba send Charity to Hell
C) Went to Hell HERSELF

I've been saying this since the end of the Hell Storyline: WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HELL?
HOW does a villain TOP HELL?

Even on a show like Passions, the answer is: THE VILLAIN CANNOT.

Which is why this story is not only spinning on its wheels, but, it's not going anywhere. Any longtime viewer of Passions is watching Charity, Kay, Miguel, and saying to themselves: " Didn't I already hear this before?"

The answer is YES YES YES!!

Which is the underlying reason why THIS part of the show is not only ridiculous, but is even infuriating, because if you think about ALL the scenes that Kay/Miguel/Charity have been in since the show began….it's ALL BEEN FOR NOTHING because NOTHING has changed!

Kay wants to seduce Miguel?

Ho hum…..been there, done that in SO many scenes, you can't even count.

Charity and Miguel are 'In WUV'……totally ho hum, considering that their chemistry of Growing Mold hasn't gotten any better in two years. They are still as monotonous and sickening as they were on the first day of this show. Moreso now, because of all the wasted screentime on this pathetic duo that hasn't convinced me one iota that this is some mythic-acrosstheages-lovetiltheydie coupling.

I'll say it again: Charity and Miguel have NO STORY, unless other, better characters, are used to PROP THEM UP.

Passions has SIX teens, and they have chosen THESE TWO to be the centerpiece of the teen story?

A big part of the reason that I don't really care what Kay does to Charity and Miguel, and why I'm rooting for her to succeed and break them up, is because it would be a CHANGING point in this story. Because Kay is more interesting on her worst day than Charity and Miguel will EVER be, and I because I resent this far more complex character being pimped and used to shove, ram, and cram down a pairing that absolutely STINKS!

Watching Kay pray today, it just did nothing for me. After all, she’s already told Simone of the same old plan that she’s always had, so, praying over it, just added insult to injury. As she did, little Angel Girl dropped a tear for Kay. I don’t know why it was hard for Kay to think that a statue of an Angel could cry, since she’s done all that Hell stuff. Angels crying should be a piece of cake.

Charity having visions of the raven…ho hum….nothing we haven’t seen before.

Like I said: worst story on Passions. I knew not to get my hopes up when Kay got her soul, which was SO anti-climatic. You’d think getting a soul BACK would be a BIG DEAL. Not on Passions…..only Passions could make it a Plot Device in the WORST story of the show.
