Love Spells ch. 13 Kay's Next Scheme

     At about seven the next morning, Sheridan stared into Antonio's hospital window. A single tear streaked down her cheek.
      "First, Antonio has a possibly fatal attack because he found out the truth about me being in love with Luis, and now Luis is in terrible danger." Sheridan said. A few hours before, Ivy had came to the hospital and told them the story about Luis and Sam being knocked unconscious and kidnapped. "I need a miracle right now," Sheridan thought. Sheridan remembered when she had been buried alive and had nearly died, that she had been given a miracle when Luis wouldn't give up hope. "Now he could be in danger and I could never see him again," Sheridan said. Sheridan looked at Antonio. "If only a miracle could happen for both of them," Sheridan said. "If anything does happen to them, I don't want their last thoughts to be about how they betrayed each other. Please let a miracle happen."
 

      "We have to rescue our daughter," TC said. "I swear if I found out that they've hurt so much as one hair on Simone, I'll kill the bastards."

      "TC, if Sam and Luis could get kidnapped trying to save Simone, than what could happen to you?" Eve exclaimed.

      "I'm not going to let anything happen to my daughter!" TC said.

      "TC, I don't know what I'd do if I lost you- again." Eve said. Eve remembered how crushed she had been when TC had found out about the past, it had been enough to send her back into Julian's arms. "TC, I can't loose you again." Eve said, throwing her arms around him.

      "And I don't want to loose our daughter," TC said.

      "TC, I'm afraid of what's going to happen to Simone if even Luis and Sam can't get to her." Eve said.

      "Something happened to Sam?" Grace exclaimed, overhearing. Eve explained everything to Grace. Kay walked by, and noticed that Liz was standing by herself watching the argument.

      "Liz sure has been seen lurking around here a lot lately," Kay thought. Kay listened in to the argument.

      "If Grace is this upset about Sam being kidnapped, than how is she going to handle that John is really Eve and David Hastings son, and that Chad never was Eve's son with Julian?" Liz asked. Kay's jaw dropped and she took off to the balcony.

      "Oh my God," Kay said in belief. "John is really Eve and David Hastings son!? Then what about Chad being Eve and Julian's son? There were DNA tests-" Kay said. Kay remembered that Hecuba was loose around the time that Chad's DNA test results were done over a year ago. "Hecuba- of course." Kay said. "Hecuba was always playing tricks on everyone, like she did when she stole my soul." Kay said. "I wouldn't put it past that evil witch to pull something like this." Kay flashed back to the party and the what if visions. "Charity is a crazy loon, but there was that green fog and those visions of what could have been, but I didn't see Hecuba at that party, and I know that she'd just rub it in that I didn't get Miguel, so something weird has to be going on here." Kay said.
 

      "What are we doing here, Hagatha?" Connie asked.
      "We are going to use this opportunity to send Kay after Miguel since Miguel is very vulnerable with everything that's happened with Antonio and Luis." Tabitha said. Connie listened in on Kay muttering to herself about Hecuba. "Shut up Hagatha!" Connie said.

      "You've got some nerve!" Tabitha said.

      "Listen up, Tabitha, I think Kay's onto us." Connie said. Tabitha listened to Kay.

      "Just another reason to push Kay and Miguel together- to keep her from finding out about us!" Tabitha said.

      Julian signed his release form, glad to get out of the hospital.

      "Finally, I can get away from all of these blasted locals." Julian said. Julian looked for Rebecca. "What is Rebecca getting herself into?" Julian asked.

      "There you are, pookey!" Rebecca said, rushing up to him with a grin.

      "I know that look," Julian said. "What are you up to?"

      "Oh, I just scheduled an ultrasound," Rebecca said.

      "Now this is going to be a twisted marraige if I've ever seen one," Connie said.
 
      "According to that jigsaw puzzle you put together, all of the marraiges in this town are twisted." Tabitha said.

      "Hmmmmm..." Kay thought. "Maybe if I comfort mom when she finds out the truth that John is really her qoute best friends son, and I comfort her, maybe she'll see that I'm not as bad as she thinks I am, and then she won't want to see another one of her children miserable and I can guilt trip her into helping me get Miguel." Kay thought.

      "I don't believe it- Kay's going to use her own mother's pain to get Miguel." Tabitha said.
