Money Is No Match For Love ch. 20 TC's Embarrassing Incident

      "Whitney told me that Simone has gone missing," Eve sobbed. Julian put an arm around her to comfort her.
      "Simone was upset, but I'm sure she'll turn up soon." Julian reassured her.

      "Something tells me that Simone is going to end up making a drastic mistake because of this," Eve said. "When Simone found out that Whitney had slept with Chad and everything else, she was devestated. There's no telling what she'll do."

      "Whitney and Simone might not be on speaking terms, but Whitney seems like someone who would look out for her younger sister even when they're not speaking to each other." Julian said.

      "Julian, emotionally, Simone is too similar to TC. When she reacts, she reacts very rashly and doesn't think about the consequences of her actions. I'm afraid something terrible might have happened to her. She's very vulnerable, when she's upset, there's no telling who she'll trust." Eve said. "I'm sure if she was in trouble, TC would have called me by now."

      "Eve, TC is in the witness protection program." Julian explained.

      "What?" Eve asked in shock.

      "Somebody cut the breaks on Rebecca's car. She crashed into TC. Sam and Luis did an investigation but they couldn't figure out who was behind it so they put TC and Rebecca in the witness protection program with Agent Freeman." Julian said.

      "Agent Freeman?" Eve asked in shock, remembering his involvement when Sheridan was buried alive.

      "I tracked them down earlier, they're both safe." Julian said.

      "Thank God TC is alright," Eve said.

      "I did try to talk to Rebecca, but Agent Freeman realized that she had sneaked out of the apartment." Julian explained.

      "Did you see TC?" Eve asked.

      "Only through a window." Julian said. Eve sighed with relief that TC did not have another opportunity to attack Julian.

      "What am I going to do about Simone?" Eve asked.

      "Eve, we will find her. I'm sure Kay has already told Sam that she's missing. I can always use the Crane power to track her down." Julian said. "Either way, we'll find her."

      "I hope nothing horrible has happened to Simone." Eve said.
 
 

      "What's happening to you, TC?" TC asked himself. "You've never been able to stand Rebecca Hotchkiss." TC thought about the few times they had unintentionally kissed, or found themselves ready to, usually after an argument. "Why do we always seem to end up kissing after an argument?" TC decided to take his mind off of the situation by watching some television.

      "Why does this keep happening?" Rebecca asked. "I'm not even over Pookey." Rebecca remembered talking to him earlier, until Agent Freeman came along and ruined things. "Stupid Agent Freeman, if he wouldn't have realized I was missing, I might have been able to get pookey back." Rebecca remembered standing over Julian with a smashed copy of Eve's tape in her hands. "No, thank you Agent Freeman." Rebecca said. "Julian's cheated too many times, what's to stop him from doing it again?" Rebecca remembered going after Julian with a gun on New Year's Eve when the truth came out about Julian marrying Theresa. It seemed like no matter what she tried, she couldn't talk herself out of thinking about Julian and having a lot of memory flashes.

     TC flipped through the channels.

     "I can't believe you could cheat on me like this!" A man said to his wife, while their children bickered in the background.

     "Damn!" TC yelled, turning the TV off and throwing the remote. "Maybe a shower is what I need to relax." TC headed to the bathroom and got in the shower. When he was finished, he wrapped a towel around himself and headed back to his room to find a change of clothes.

     "I have to find something to do to take my mind off of everything," Rebecca said, also starting to worry about not being able to help Gwen deal with Theresa. Rebecca left the room. Not paying any attention to where they were going, TC and Rebecca bumped into each other. Rebecca and TC looked at each other in akward embarrassment when Rebecca realized that TC was only wearing a towel!

     "Oh my God, TC's only wearing a towel..." Rebecca thought. "TC, you're not making this any easier! Rebecca remembered the saying about picturing people in their underwear in embarrassing situations. "Whoever came up with that idea, you're not helping!" Rebecca thought in dread, after the thought backfired.

     "I better go find some clothes," TC said, going back to his room. Rebecca sighed with relief after TC went back to his room.

     "What's wrong with you? You see men wearing nothing more than towels all the time!" Rebecca said. "Oh well, at least it was a only towel and not a costume- stop that thought right there! What's happening to me? You don't want to see him in a costume, a towel, you don't want to see him with anything!" Rebecca realized what she was thinking. "No, you just want to see him in normal clothes. End of story!"

     "That was too awkward for me," TC said, finding some clothes and getting dressed.
