Julian's head was throbbing and everything around him was blurred together. He heard a voice, but the words ran together, and he felt a slight stinging sensation on his forehead. Julian moaned as his vision finally came into focus. He looked up to see Rebecca.
"Rebecca?" Julian asked, starting to sit up.

"Lay down, this might sting." Rebecca said, placing the rag on Julian's forehead. Julian winced as the rag was put over the cut.

"Ow, my head," Julian said. "What happened?" Rebecca explained everything about Julian being attacked.

Kay walked into the kitchen to get something to drink when she noticed that Grace was in the kitchen making one of her famous tomatoe soup cakes.

"Oh no, mom's making some more cake." Kay thought.

"Kay," Grace said. "Has there been any more news on Simone yet?"

"For your information, Simone is still missing." Kay said in a rude tone.

"Kay, I was only asking about how Simone was. I'm worried about her." Grace said. Grace put the finished tomatoe soup cake on the counter. "Would you like some tomatoe soup cake?" Grace asked. Kay glared at Grace. Her best friend was missing. It was bad enough that long lost cousins and half siblings were always turning up, but now, Kay's best friend- the only person who really cared about what happened to Kay, was missing, and all Grace could think about was her precious tomatoe soup cakes.

"Yes, mother, I'd love some tomatoe soup cake." Kay said. Grace started to search for a knife. Kay looked at the cake deviously and picked it up.

"Kay, I can cut that for you," Grace said.

"Want some tomatoe soup cake?" Kay asked, mimicking Grace. Lifting the cake high in the air, Kay dropped the tomatoe soup cake, which landed with a splat directly on top of a stunned Grace's head!

"Kay Bennette!" Grace yelled through a mouth full of tomatoe soup cake. "What's gotten into you?"

"I guess I just figured out how I like my tomatoe soup cake, that's all." Kay said, walking up to her room.

Sheridan arrived at the cottage. "I wonder where Luis is?" Sheridan thought. "He was supposed to meet me here tonight." Sheridan figured that he must have gotten held up at work or something. A pair of arms wrapping themselves around her intturrupted the thought. "Well, there's the answer to that question," Sheridan thought, figuring it was Luis. "I love you," Sheridan said.

"I love you too, my love." Antonio said. Sheridan turned around in shock. What had she just gotten herself into? Antonio pulled a helpless Sheridan into a passionate kiss. Pilar arrived at the cottage to visit her son, but her jaw dropped as she saw Sheridan in Antonio's arms.

"Sheridan, Antonio?" Pilar said in shock, surpised Sheridan was letting this happen. Antonio and Sheridan turned around. Sheridan looked down in embarrassment when she noticed it was Pilar.

"Oh, mother, you're here, I'll go get that sweater you left here the other day." Antonio said, leaving the room.

"Pilar, I can explain everything," Sheridan said after Antonio was gone.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Sheridan." Pilar said.
