Rebecca had eventually arrived at the Crane mansion, out of breath from the long walk from TC's house.
"Mother, where were you last night?" Gwen asked.

"I'll explain everything later, Gwennie." Rebecca said. "Where is Julian?"

"He's in his office listening to some tape." Gwen said.

"The tape?" Rebecca asked, knowing which tape it was.

"Mother, you look upset. What happened?" Gwen asked.

"Julian thinks I was upset last night, wait until I give him a few choice words!" Rebecca said, rushing upstairs.

Julian poured himself a drink as he listened to the tape.

"Oh, Eve, I wish that there was something I could do about our son." Julian said. Part of Julian hoped that their son was Chad. Julian realized that the room had became silent and the tape had stopped playing.

"Looking for this?"

Julian turned around to see a furious Rebecca standing over him, holding the tape in her hands.

"Becky?" Julian asked. Rebecca's only reply was a glare. "You didn't come home last night. Where were you?"

"What do you care?" Rebecca asked. "You never cared about me. You only care about yourself."

"That's not true." Julian said. Julian attempted to hug Rebecca, but she pushed him away. "I left Ivy so I could be with you-" Julian started to say.

"Until you realized that you still loved Eve and I had to find out the same way I found out you married Theresa." Rebecca said.

"But I don't give a damn about Theresa." Julian said.

"Julian, you kept it a secret. I had to find out when the tabloid reporter showed up at the New Year's Eve party last year." Rebecca brushed tears from her eyes. "Just like I had to find out about you and Eve by seeing you and TC fighting over her. Julian, I thought you were happy to see me when you came back from faking your death, I should have known last night when you weren't in the mood because you were listening to that tape that you were hiding something from me. I just can't put up with all of your secrets anymore."

"Rebecca, I didn't want to hurt you. Everything just happened." Julian said.

"Julian, I don't know what else to say except for our marriage is over." Rebecca said, sobbing.

"Over?" Julian asked.

"I knew it was over when I couldn't stay in the same house with you last night, so I went to a bar and TC was there." Rebecca said.

"TC?" Julian asked.

"Yes. I knew it was over when I woke up with a hangover on TC's couch this morning because I couldn't drive home." Rebecca said.

"I'm so sorry," Julian said, realizing that Rebecca couldn't forgive him.

"I wish I could believe you," Rebecca said, leaving the room.

A while later, Rebecca had arrived at the bar after having one of the Crane servants drop her off so she could pick up her car. She thought about going inside.
"Then I'd just have to put up with TC again," Rebecca said in annoyance. Rebecca got in her car and drove off, paying little attention to the road and getting screamed at by other drivers. Rebecca pulled into the Book Cafe's parking lot. Just as she was getting out of her car, she heard her car door slam into the car door of the next car.

"Oh great," Rebecca said.

"What the?" TC asked. TC and Rebecca got out of their cars to see who's doors they had banged up.

"Oh no, not you again!" TC and Rebecca said.
 

At the hospital, Eve opened her eyes to see the results of the DNA test.

"Here goes," Eve said. Eve's eyes widened in shock.

"Oh my God," Eve gasped. "Why didn't the results show this before?!" The shock had sunken in. "Chad Harris really is my son! Chad is mine and Julian's son!" Eve rushed out of the hospital even though she was supposed to be at work and drove to the mansion.

"Julian?" Eve called urgently. "Julian?"

"I'm in here, Eve!" Julian said. Eve rushed into Julian's office and threw her arms around him. "Eve, what's going on? Are you alright?"

"I know who our son is!" Eve said.

"You know who our son is?" Julian asked.

"Chad Harris is our son!" Eve said.

"Chad is our son?" Julian asked with joy.

"Yes, Chad is our son!" Eve said.
