A Night of Passion; Chapter 7 (Evian)
by ejcrane

Julian arrived home and walked in through the front door. He heard people in the living room and decided to see who they had over.

Eve, who was carrying J.J., Ivy, and little Abby were sitting on the sofa, while another gentleman who was African-American was sitting in one of the arm chairs. Julian noticed his little girl’s eyes look towards him and he smiled. Every night that he came home from the office or his business trips, Abby was always so excited to see him and would run to him. So, Julian waited, but Abby just stared at him as she clung to Ivy and looked back at the man they had over.

Had he done something to upset his little girl, he tried to remember, but nothing came to mind. Why hadn’t Abigail been excited to see him?

Julian walked in more and Ivy spotted him.

“Julian! Julian, come in,” Ivy stood, “Tc, this is my husband, Julian Crane. Julian, this is Tc Russell,” she paused and smiled, “Eve’s old boyfriend from high school…”

Julian had been smiling when Ivy introduced their guest, but once she had mentioned that it had been Eve’s ex-boyfriend, his smile faded as he shook this man’s hands. His eyes then met Eve, but she turned away. J.J. had been jumping and squirming in Eve’s arms, and it all started once he had seen Julian.

“Da---da-da,” he laughed and began squirming in Eve’s arms.

Ivy turned to J.J.

“Did he just say…” she asked.

Eve swallowed and nodded.

“Yes, he, he’s been saying that all day today…in-in fact, those are his first words.”

“Aww, honey, he called you, ‘da-da’,” Ivy held her heart.

Julian laughed as his eyes never left Eve’s.

J.J. began to cry, and that’s what brought Eve and Julian out of their daze. He was reaching out for his father.

“Awww, honey, he wants you to hold him…”

Julian stepped towards Eve.

“May I?” he held out his hands to J.J.

What was Eve going to do? She couldn’t just tell him “no” and not make everyone suspicious to her actions, so she just handed over J.J. to his father.

In his arms, J.J. quieted down and soon fell asleep. Everyone “awed” at the two.

Thirty minutes later, Tc was getting ready to leave, and asked Eve out for some drinks.

“Well, I don’t know…J.J….” she began.

“Oh, E.J., don’t worry, we can take care of J.J. You two go…get to know each other again,” Ivy offered.

Julian cradled his son in his arms as he watched Eve decide. She felt his eyes, and then did something that needed to be done. She agreed. Maybe Julian would get the picture that they couldn’t be together if he’d see her with someone else.
---

Eve arrived back at the mansion around eleven-thirty at night, and was startled as she was about to walk up the stairs.

Julian had been sitting in the living room, the lights off, and was waiting for Eve. When she had arrived, he had cleared his throat and caused her to look into the darkened room.

“Eve, how was your ‘date’ with Mr. Russell?” he asked.

“Julian,” she rolled her eyes and turned to walk up the stairs, “I don’t have time for this.”

He was too quick for her, for he placed his hand on hers and spun her around.

“Oh, yes you do, have time for this,” he jerked her into his arms and began kissing her.

“Julian quit!” she whispered.

“Shh, you don’t want to wake Ivy, do you?” he asked as he led her into the library.

“Julian no!” she pulled on her arm, but was unsuccessful in pulling it away from Julian.

“Eve…” he said as he began unbuttoning her blouse, “I need you tonight. I need you so much! I just can’t take it anymore!” he ripped her blouse off and threw it to the floor and now divested Eve out of her skirt.

Eve didn’t know what it was, but she just couldn’t stop Julian…she didn’t want to stop him. God, it had been too long, and she missed him!

“Julian no…no…no…” she whispered between kisses.

His tongue sought hers and his mouth then made its way to her neck.

“You smell so damn good, Eve,” Julian moaned and then picked her up into his arms.

He had wanted to make love to Eve on the desk, but found that it was just too far away, and he just couldn’t wait any longer, so he just bent down and took her right then and there on the floor of the library.

The two moved together as one and forgot all their worries, and thought of nothing, but the pleasure the two were igniting in each other…

“I love you, Eve…I do,” Julian confessed as he looked down into her face.

“Julian,” she looked away, “No you don’t…” she began shaking her head.

But Julian held her chin and turned it towards him.

“Yes, I do,” he nodded, “You were all I thought of after you had left me in that hotel room…and you’re all I think about now,” he kissed her and then rubbed his cheek against hers as he placed kisses on her neck.
---

“He’s wonderful, Eve,” Julian smiled over a sleeping J.J.

“He is, Julian…he’s a miracle…” she touched their son’s little hand, “You better go,” she turned to Julian, “Before Ivy wakes and finds you not in bed…”

“I don’t want to go, Eve. I don’t want to go back to that bed; I want to stay here in this bed and hold you in my arms throughout the night…”

“You, you can’t,” she whispered as she felt his lips and breath upon her forehead, “Go…go, I’ll see you in the morning,” she gave him a little push.

“Before I go,” he came back to her, “I’ll dream of you tonight,” he said just before he kissed her.

Eve smiled and touched his cheek one last time before he left her room.

Julian laughed on the outside of Eve’s door. He couldn’t believe that he and Eve had just made love. Oh, how he loved her! Julian then began walking towards his room, and stopped at his door, but then began walking again, passed it. He carefully and quietly opened the door to his little girl’s room and sat beside her. Pulling the covers over her, Julian kissed his daughter “goodnight” and turned to get up, but was startled by Abigail’s question:

“Why were you and Eve touching each other at breakfast, daddy?” she asked groggily.

Julian’s eyes widened in shock! His little girl had seen them?! No wonder why she was acting differently.

Julian swallowed and then cleared his throat.

“It was because…because…we’ll talk about this tomorrow, sweetheart,” he said, truthfully, “Now, go to bed and I’ll see you in the morning.”

“Okay,” she laid her head back down onto the pillow, “I love you, daddy.” Abby said as Julian walked to the door.

He turned and around and walked back to her.

“I love you too, princess! I love you so much,” he hugged her and kissed her cheek and then left her room.

Julian soon found himself in his room that he shared with Ivy, and fell asleep on his side of the bed…
---

“How did you sleep?” he whispered into her ear from behind as his hands went around her and began massaging her breasts.

“Julian, please…not now,” she moaned.

“Well, just answer the question, and I’ll stop,” he gently squeezed, “Now, how did you sleep?” he darted his tongue out and teased the tip of her earlobe.

“Good…very good,” she answered as her bottom began grinding against his front.

Just then they heard Ivy in the other room and separated.

“Ivy!” Julian said cheerfully, “Morning, honey…where’s Abigail?”

“She’s calling her friends because she’s excited,” Ivy said as she smiled brightly.

“Excited?” Julian slanted his head, “Excited about what?” he shrugged.

“Because…because she’s going to have a little brother or sister in seven months!” Ivy yelled joyfully.

“What?” he blinked, “You’re what?” he whispered, totally shocked.

Eve had been feeding J.J., when she looked up and met Ivy’s eyes. She was glowing, was excited, happy. She watched as Ivy pulled Julian into her arms and hugged him.

“I’m pregnant, honey! I’m pregnant with your baby…our baby!” she laughed.

“That’s…that’s great…that’s wonderful, Ivy!” He smiled, and that’s when his eyes met Eve’s over Ivy’s shoulder.

He could see the hurt in her. The glassy eyes that stared back at him were tearing him apart. He watched as her nostrils flared, as she looked like she was about to cry.

Eve picked up J.J. and then spoke…

“Congratulations, Ivy,” she smiled and sniffed, “That’s terrific news,” she looked down, and then looked back up and met Julian’s eyes, “Congratulations…Julian.” She said and then left the dinning room.
