Today was ok.

Subject: Julian and Ethan- Reminded me of the ' Old' Julian

Julian is going through the brandy like candy with a baby. He has to get drink, because he has to get through this marriage to Rebecca. Now that he knows Rebecca is 'packing', Julian realizes that the end is near for him. He has to get the annulment from Theresa and wonders where she is.

As he's guzzling booze, Ethan comes into talk with him. Ethan tells him that he's going to file an injunction, and Julian tells him that it doesn't make a difference - he has every judge in his back pocket. Ethan admits that he knew that intellectually, but, that he had to try for his mother. Man, I couldn't believe the Julian in these scenes with Ethan. It wasn't the sociopath that murdered his sister, it was the old Julian - the randy, bad boy, but still human, Julian.

Julian and Ethan have a talk, and you could actually see Julian's pain from losing Ethan. It was in everything that they said. Julian was hurting. Still hurting from losing Ethan. THAT is why he hasn't forgiven Ivy. He misses having Ethan as his son. Seeing this Julian, I forgot about the Julian that wanted Ethan dead so that he could get into Theresa's panties in Bermuda. Julian admires Ethan's spirit. His fight. He tells Ethan that had always bragged that Ethan got that spirit from him, but, now he knows better. I bet Ben Masters was aching to play scenes like that again, considering how decimated Julian has become as a character.

Ethan tells Julian that he's wrong, and that he has to fight for his mother. He looks at Julian and tells him that he doesn't seem to be wanting to get married; that maybe he can postpone things, and Julian insists that the wedding must occur today.Julian then asks where Theresa is, which makes Ethan curious. Julian says that he knows if Theresa comes, then Ethan will leave, and won't be at the ceremony.  He and Ethan say their goodbyes, but you can see Julian's longing for Ethan and that he misses him.

Julian is drinking and saying that maybe things really are turning around, and talking about the curse of Tabby, when Tabby and Timmy come in. Julian's in shock, and Tabby and Timmy begin to eat appetizers. Julian goes off, talking about Timmy being alive, and how bad Tabitha is. Harper sees Julian like this, and asks Tabitha to leave. Harper tells Julian that he needs to stop going off on Tabby - people will talk.

Subject: I really enjoyed Ethan and Gwen today

Ethan runs into Gwen in the hallway, and they begin to talk, and Gwen comments how a bride and groom should love one another. Ethan is about to chastize Gwen for commenting on him and Theresa, and Gwen holds up her hand to stop him: she's talking about her mother and Julian. Gwen is genuinely concerned for her mother, and doesn't think that this marriage is going to be good for her. She can't shake the feeling.  Ethan tells her that maybe things aren't as bad as she thinks, and leaves.

They meet up once again in the foyer, and Gwen starts in on Theresa : how she's a liar, and won't let anything stand in the way of her ultimate goal: Ethan. That Ethan is blind, and that he doesn't see ' the real Theresa'. Ethan says that Theresa loves him, and Gwen tells him that she hopes that she never has to be in the position to say ' I told you so.'

Oh Gwen, you deserve so much more than to be stuck on this lunkhead. He doesn't deserve your concern. Let the ignoramous drown in his Theresa ignorance.

Subject: Poison Ivy The Torturer...LOL

Ivy was like the cat who swallowed the canary. I loved Kim Ulrich today. She does a lot with her face - she's very expressive. You could see the glee in Ivy's eyes, and she felt she was THISCLOSE to ridding Ethan of Theresa. I loved her torturing Theresa today. It was so funny, and very Ivy, who learned a few thing about torture and cornering your enemies from being a Crane wife all those years.

She let Theresa hang herself with every answer that she gave Ivy, with such sincerity, and Ivy knowing all along that she was lying through her teeth. Ivy let her rattle on about her WUV for Ethan, and how sorry she is, and let her make up stories  about Bermuda.

Ivy appeared to let her go find Ethan, until Theresa said, ' Goodbye Mrs. Crane.'

Ivy: What did you call me?

Theresa: Mrs. Crane.

Ivy: Dont call me Mrs. Crane. I'm not Mrs. Crane. YOU ARE. MRS. JULIAN CRANE!

GO IVY, GO!!!
