They got dressed and Julian dropped her off close to home. She opened the door to see T.C. sitting there, an angry look on his face.
“What is it T.C.?”

“Where the hell have you been? God, I am so sick of you not being here for me Eve. I mean I was expecting at least a meal when I came home.” He said.

“Oh please T.C., this is not the dark ages, I was busy.”

“Busy, busy as you always are, how are we ever supposed to talk, or were you out gallivanting, looking for someone to replace me with?”

“Grow up!” she said yelling at him.

“No I won’t, ever since you practically gave me the cold shoulder in the hotel, I don’t know what to say to you anymore, why do you have to work such long hours at the hospital? You have a family you know.”

She thought about what Julian had just said to her.

“Well I am waiting for an answer.”

“You know what T.C. you don’t respect me.”

“What are you talking about, that’s just stupid.”

“No it’s not, you don’t respect me or my job, I am a doctor, and do you know what that entails? Do you know how hard I worked to get where I am today? Or did you forget that I had to spend countless hours hitting the books? If you would stop thinking about yourself for once and care about others, then maybe you would understand, but you don’t. And I am not wasting my time talking to you, so go fly a kite!” she said angrily.

“You are telling me that I think about myself? Who is the one who has practically abandoned the family? We never see you anymore Eve, I don’t, Whitney and Simone don’t even know you these days, especially Simone. She has been spending a lot of time with me lately; at least she has one parent she can count on.”

“Don’t try to pull the old guilt trip with me T.C.”

“I am the one trying to keep this family together.”

“You are the one who abandoned your little girl for being in love, sure it didn’t work out, but you abandoned your baby when she needed you T.C. so you are the bad one here.”

“Whitney is better off without that punk Chad.”

“It doesn’t matter, she needed you and I was the only one who stood by her when she left to pick up and leave Harmony. What kind of father disowns his daughter for following her heart T.C.?”

“We are getting nowhere Eve, you are no longer the woman I used to know, and you used to be the perfect wife and mother.”

“I am not perfect by any means T.C.; you don’t know me very well do you?” She said.

“I thought I knew you, but apparently I don’t, what has happened to us Eve?

“T.C. I have tried okay, we are just different people now, I just feel we may not be able to recapture what we had.”

“Are you dumping me, are you going to give up on us? I thought you were better than that Eve.”

“I am, but we can’t see eye to eye on anything anymore, trust me, I do love you T.C., I can’t just turn off the love, but…”

“But what?” he said interrupting her.

“I don’t know T.C.” she said avoiding his eyes.

“If you can’t look at me, then you must be hiding something.” T.C. said.

“I just don’t think this is going to work.” She said bluntly.

“What, you are kidding right? Oh my God!” he said shaking his head.

“T.C….” she said touching his hand.

“Get away from me!” he said irritated.

“But we haven’t finished talking, there is more to talk about.”

“Oh so now you want to talk when it’s convenient for you?”

“T.C.!”

“Forget it, I am out of here, I need some air.” He said slamming the door.

A few minutes later, the phone rang; she picked it up, saying hello quite quietly.

“Eve is that you, you sound so different.”

“Julian, hi.”

“What’s the matter honey?”

“We will talk about it later, we are still seeing each other right?”

“Of course, my love, anytime I say I will see you, I will, unless an emergency comes up.”

“Well don’t let an emergency come up tonight please.” She said sounding down in the dumps.

“This is serious isn’t it?” Julian asked.

“Yes, I need to see you, so much tonight.”

“Awwww sweetheart, you want me to come over right now? I mean even if you just need to talk, we can do that, I am here for you Eve.”

“No it’s okay Julian, give me a few hours.”

“Are you sure you going to be okay?” he asked.

“Yes for now, I will meet you around eight, T.C. will most likely be home so don’t come to the door.”

“Ok.”

But what Eve didn’t know was that T.C. was so angry, that he took off with Liz. They went for a drive and T.C. told her how mad he was at Eve that he couldn’t count on her anymore. And Liz was right in there to console him.

“Oh T.C., maybe you and Eve are just drifting apart.”

“But I have a family with Eve, we love each other, don’t we?” he said.

“Maybe you do, but it sounds like Eve isn’t sure anymore T.C.”

“She sounded like she wanted to break up with me Liz, I don’t know what to do.”

“If she loved you T.C. she wouldn’t be having doubts.” She said taking full advantage of this moment with T.C.

“I don’t know, I…”

“T.C. look at me.” Liz said.

“Yes.”

“Look, you are a wonderful man, you deserve so much better than what Eve has to offer you.”

“Oh Liz, but I love her.”

“I am sure you do, but she is not the right woman for you, I am.” Liz said.

“Oh you are just saying that because I am upset about my wife.”

“You can do better T.C., don’t you want a woman who will support you, be by your side, make love to you?” Liz asked.

“Well yes.”

“Has Eve been doing that, has she been satisfying your needs T.C.?”

“Well not lately.”

“I will T.C., I will satisfy you, you are a very sexy man and you deserve love, sex, everything T.C.”

“Oh Liz.” He said looking into her eyes.

“T.C. take me, take me now!”

“Liz, I can’t do this.” T.C. said.

“You know you want to, don’t hold back T.C., show me what kind of a lover you really are.” She said undoing her top.

“I can’t, I am married Liz.”

“So what?”

“So I am still married to Eve.”

“T.C., I know you want to do the right thing, but you have needs, I have needs, so why don’t we just fulfill them?” Liz said.

“Liz, what if Eve and I work it out?”

“Look it sounds like she is not too certain about it either and again she isn’t satisfying you, come on T.C., you know you want to.” She said touching his face.

She undid her bra very quickly and sat there looking at him.

“T.C., tell me you don’t want me, tell me you don’t want to do this.” She said bringing his hand to her chest.

“Oh Liz.” He said staring at her.

“Let’s do this T.C.”

He stared at her for a moment and then couldn’t resist her anymore, his frustrations and hurt feelings for Eve turned into lust for Liz. He moved back the seat, climbing on top of Liz and forgetting the foreplay, just getting right into it.

“Oh God T.C.”

“Oh Liz.” He said hungrily.

“My God, you are hot in bed, Eve doesn’t know what she is missing, oh forget her, why I am talking about her? I don’t know what I have been missing, this is so good.”

“Oh Liz.” He said as he continued steaming up the windows of the car.

Eve locked the door of the house and walked down the street to meet Julian. He got out and opened the car door, giving his ladylove a sweet kiss on the mouth before she got into the car.

“Sweetie, where would you like to go to talk? You sounded so upset when we talked on the phone.” Julian said.

“We do need to talk, just drive please Julian.”

He nodded and she stared out the window as he drove, she knew the time was coming when she would have to really tell T.C. what was going on, she had come close that night, but she knew he was angry when he stormed out. She wondered where he had gone too, but decided not to think about it, all she wanted to do was talk to Julian, he always made her feel better and she really did need him.

“Julian, we have to tell T.C.” she said.

“I know Eve.”

“No I mean it, I tried to tell him tonight, but he took off, I have no idea where, but he was angry.”

“You almost told him?” Julian said quite surprised.

“Well yeah, but he left before I could finish.”

“No wonder you are upset sweetie.” He said grabbing her hand as they drove.

“Well yes, I mean I know that we have been sleeping together behind his back, but he deserves to know.” Eve said.

“You are going to tell him I have taken you to bed?” he said astonished.

“Not exactly I am just going to say that I am seeing someone else and go from there I guess.” Eve said.

“Honey, are you sure you are ready for this?” Julian asked.

“Yes Julian, we have to, T.C. is really the innocent one in all of this.”

“I know, so where would you like to stop?” Julian asked.

“Well how about over there?” she said pointing to a spot off the road.

“Okay.”

Julian stopped and turned off the ignition, he looked at Eve.

“Honey, I know you are worried, everything is going to be okay.” He said putting his arm around her.

“Julian, I want to tell him, I mean I almost did, I am just so scared of the consequences as well, this is going to ruin our family forever.”

“You will not face it alone, I will be here for you, I will explain it to him.”

“He won’t give you a chance Julian, T.C, might put you in the hospital once he finds out you are the man I love.”

“I know that, but you are worth fighting for Eve.”

Julian leaned over and kissed her passionately, holding her tight in his arms letting her know that he was there for her. Eve was into the kiss, until Julian stopped to look up for a minute.

“What is it Julian?”

“Oh nothing really honey, sorry.”

“What are you looking at?”

“I don’t mean to ruin the mood, someone is having quite a make out session over there and I thought we could create steam.” He said smiling.

“Where?” she said turning around.

“See.” He said pointing to the car.

“Yeah, you are right, probably some teenagers or something, they better watch out for the cops, at least we are only kissing.” Eve said.

“You weren’t worried about the police when we were hot and heavy in the car before were you?” Julian asked.

“No, but with those windows, I am sure that is more than just kissing going on Julian.”

“Yeah I would say so, I can’t see a bloody thing in there and I know its winter, but they are certainly making their own heat.”

Julian began to kiss her again, wanting her to feel loved since this was going to be a very rough road ahead. She took his hand to her shirt and he nodded undoing it and slipping it off. He took his off and moved her seat back, she loved when he was so close like that and she could run her fingers up and down his back.

“I love you Eve, so much, everything is going to be alright.” He said assuring her.

“Thank you for being here for me Julian.”

“I always will be, you know that.”

“Julian, we don’t have to…well you know.”

“No honey, not if you don’t want to, we can just kiss if you want.” He said smiling.

“Okay, it’s just that…”

“Eve, no need to explain, I love you no matter what we do.”

She looked at him as he ran his fingers through her hair.

“You are so beautiful.”

“Oh Julian.”

“You really are Eve, so beautiful in every way.” He said kissing her hand.

Julian looked out the window for a minute, something catching his eye.

“Julian, what are you looking at?”

“Whoever is in there just opened the car door for a minute.”

“Oh God, I don’t want to see them in my bra.”

“They won’t sweetheart, it’s too dark.”

“What are they doing now?” she said concerned.

“I think that he is just putting on his pants.” Julian said laughing.

“With the door open?” Eve said.

“Maybe it’s a bit awkward to do the zipper up.”

Eve couldn’t help but laugh at him.

“I shouldn’t be spying, they will think I am a voyeur.” Julian said smiling.

“That you are not.” Eve said.

Julian watched the man for a minute, squinting to see.

“Do you need glasses?” Eve said smiling.

“No my love, very funny.”

He continued to watch for a moment.

“Oh my God!” Julian said suddenly.

“What’s wrong?”

“Well first off, he’s not a teenager, but a grown man.”

“Some people like to make out at any age, look at us.” Eve said laughing.

“Yeah they do, but this is no ordinary man.” Julian said concerned.

“What are you getting at Julian?” she wondered.

He turned to look at her.

“What is it, tell me!”

“Eve, its T.C.” Julian said finally.

“What?” she said shocked.

“Yes sweetheart, its T.C, I’m sorry.” He said touching her face.

“Julian, are you sure?”

“Uh huh.”

“Oh my God, who is he with?”

“Hold on, I am trying to see.” Julian said.

“Whoever it is, let me at him, I am going to kill him.” Eve said angrily.

“Honey, no, that will not solve anything, you don’t want him finding out about us this way, it would be better to tell him by sitting him down.”

“But he is sneaking behind my back.” Eve said.

“And we are sneaking behind his Eve.”

“I know, but..”

“Honey, it’s pretty much the same thing now isn’t it?” Julian said.

“But who the hell is he with, I mean it’s different with us, we love each other Julian. T.C. is probably just doing this because he is mad at me.” Eve said.

“Maybe, but it is still not the right way to tell him, we will tell him when the time is right.”

“Okay Julian, but can you see who it is?” Eve asked again.

The door was still open in T.C.’s car and Julian finally got a good look at her.

“My God Eve, it’s Liz!” Julian said.

“Liz, oh that slut!” she said angrily.

“I can’t believe it or actually yes I can.” Julian said.

“Oh my God, that witch, my damn sister would do this to me wouldn’t she? She had to have T.C.”

“I’m sorry Eve, I hate to say it, but I think they…uh…”

“I know Julian, they had sex, plain and simple.” She said bluntly.

“I’m really sorry sweetheart.”

“Okay so we have been too, but I love you Julian, that is the biggest difference, I am not going to justify doing it behind my husbands back, but still, Liz was only out to hurt me and get T.C. into bed, but in her case, she got him to sleep her with in the car, same crap, different pile.” Eve said angrily.

“So what are you going to do now?” Julian asked.

“I don’t know, I would just love to bring T.C. and Liz down, but I am not sure that is wise. Perhaps when we tell him, I will tell him I know about them.”

“Think about it Eve, think about how you want to approach it honey.”

“I cannot believe Liz, that tramp.”

“Granted she is, but remember he gave into her as well Eve.”

“I know, but she is so forward and desperate, she probably made him do it.” Eve said.

“Not necessarily, maybe T.C. just wanted to. I mean I am not saying that Liz isn’t a big part of it, but maybe T.C. really did want to have sex with her.”

“Oh God Julian.”

“I know love.” He said hugging her.

“This marriage is so over, well I knew it was when I fell back in love with you Julian, but now it’s really over, especially now that he slept with Liz.”

“Do you want to get out of here?” Julian asked.

“Yeah, anywhere but here please, I don’t even want to go home tonight Julian, I can’t face him after he slept with the bitch.”

“Do you want to go the cabin Eve?”

“Sure Julian.”

“I can start a fire and we can just be together.” Julian said.

“That would be perfect.” Eve said.
