A Passion That Can’t Be Denied-Part 3, Chapter 1
 

Julian wiped away several tears that ran down her cheeks and pulled Eve close to him.

“Oh Julian.”

“I know honey, look at me.”

She stared at him for a moment.

“Listen Eve, this is all my fault, I was selfish and very stupid.”

“No Julian, it takes two.”

“You are so beautiful Eve, when we are together, I can’t resist loving you, wanting you. I fall in love with you more every day, but I should have thought about the consequences.”

“It’s too late to consider the what ifs Julian, I am having your child, our child Julian.”

He looked into her warm brown eyes, full of emotion; he was unsure what she wanted him to say, he wanted to be supportive.

“Eve, is this good news, I mean even though we didn’t plan this, are you happy about it?”

“Very much Julian, you know how much I love you, there is no one else in this world I would rather spend my life with, but the fact is we had quite the bombshell to drop on T.C., now it just got larger.”

“I know sweetheart, I know you are scared to tell him and this might really send T.C. over the edge, but you will not be alone, no matter what he has to say about the whole situation. I am going to be by your side then and I will be by your side forever. I have so much love in my heart to give, to you and to our child.” He said touching her stomach.

She smiled at him, knowing how genuine Julian was, how much he truly wanted to stand by her and their baby.

“Everything is going to work out my dear, you just have to know that I will never abandon either of you, not this time. I couldn’t bear to lose you Eve; it would break my heart to ever let you go. I did it once and I will never do it again, I don’t care what my father says or anyone in Harmony, I love you and one day, everyone is going to know just how much.”

“Thank you for standing up this time, thank you for loving me.”

“Thank you for giving me the chance to be the man I should have been so many years ago. My heart ached for so long without you Eve, the regrets I had so many years later. I blocked everything out, all of my emotions, any love that I once felt. I was a fool who was blinded by my father’s evil, so I say thank you my darling for letting me back into your life, and thank you for giving me the most precious gift I could ever ask for, you.”

She couldn’t help but feel tears in her eyes once again, the way Julian was expressing his soul, everything about him had changed, he was good and kind, unselfish and sweet. This was the Julian Crane she had seen parts of when they were together, but now he was even more amazing this time around. She didn’t want to look at the past, but she knew if this were the Julian she saw then, they would have been together from the birth of their son. T.C. would have never been a part of her life and now looking at where they were and how far they had come, she wished that Julian were the man she had married in the first place.

“Eve, what do you want to do now, when do you want to tell T.C.?” he said moving a strand of hair away from her beautiful face.

“As soon as we can Julian, he needs to know that you are the father of my baby. It’s not like I will be able to hide the fact that I am pregnant.”

“You don’t think he is going to think it’s his do you?”

“I doubt it, I haven’t slept with T.C. in quite some time so he would be pretty naïve to think that it’s his.”

“Maybe he would be hopeful.” Julian said.

“It doesn’t matter Julian, T.C. is most likely with Liz now, maybe he would be unhappy to think that he had another child to worry about.”

“Yes that is true, but deep down I think that T.C. might just regret sleeping with Liz.”

“Why Julian?”

“I am pretty sure he did it out of anger, but I could be wrong. Maybe he would think a new baby would patch things up between the two of you. So I am quite concerned how devastated this news will be, I am worried about you Eve, you don’t need any added stress now that you are pregnant.”

“Julian, he has to know.”

“I know that, but perhaps we should start with saying we are a couple, then tell him you are pregnant.”

“But Julian, the truth has to come out regardless right? If we wait it out too much, it will only get worse.”

“I agree darling, I just want to make sure you and the baby are okay, I couldn’t bear anything happening.” He said with worry in his eyes.

“As long as I have you by my side, I will be okay, as long as I have your support.”

“Oh you will Eve, no doubt, when we face him, I am not going anywhere.”

“Julian, I would love to stay here and talk all day, I really would, it means everything to me to be together, but unfortunately I have to get back to work.”

“I understand Eve, I will leave my cell on, if you need anything, call me.”

“Okay.”
