“Eve, just tell me.”

But she couldn’t stop crying.

“T.C., what she is trying to say is that we are more than just friends.”

“What?”

“It just sort of happened, we never planned it.”

“You better start running Julian because if you don’t, I am going to kill you.” T.C. said angrily.

“Don’t T.C.” she said looking at him, wiping her eyes.

“This is unbelievable, Eve, do you love Julian?”

“Yes I do.” She said quietly.

“I can’t believe this, I am more in shock now than anything else, how could you do this to me Eve? You are my wife, you are a mother, and how could you cheat on me?” T.C. asked.

“You cheated on her with Liz.” Julian said.

“Out of anger, I didn’t deliberately set out to sleep with her.”

“And we never set out to fall in love again.” Julian said.

“T.C., it’s true that I hated Julian for so long, I really did, I was bitter at him for years for abandoning my son and I. But he has changed so much T.C., Julian is a good and kind man, a wonderful man.”

“And you just expect me to be okay with this? Because you just happen to spend some time together and fall for one another? Get real, you are my wife, you took vows, we both did, for better or for worse.”

“I know T.C. and I am sorry, I am so sorry.”

“Sorry that we are going to have to split, sorry that you are going to have to tell your daughters about all of this? Sorry won’t cut it, we have been married for so long, I know I slept with Liz, but I was willing to try again, willing to work on our marriage.”

“But you weren’t going to tell me T.C., you were going to lie about it.”

“How did you find out?” he asked.

“We happened to be together one night parked by the side of a road, and we saw you.” Julian said.

“So you are not any better than me are you? And Lord knows how long have you been cheating on me Eve, thanks for nothing.” He said quite hurt.

“I know it was wrong T.C. and I know this isn’t going to be easy for anyone to deal with, I will always love you.” Eve said.

“I loved you Eve, so basically this is it, we aren’t even going to get any marriage counseling, but then again it’s too late, you have moved on already.” T.C. said.

“Oh T.C.”

“Don’t even go there Eve, you don’t love me, if you did, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”

“I do love you T.C., I really do, and it’s just that my heart is with Julian, I am in love with him.” Eve said.

“You know what Eve, you are nothing but a bitch, a stupid whore!” he said angrily.

“What did you say?” Julian said with anger in his eyes.

“You heard me, she’s a whore, nothing but a slut if she wants to be with you Julian. Of all the people that Eve would ever leave me for, I can’t believe it has to be you. You have nothing to offer but heartache, you are going to hurt her, but hey if that’s what she wants, then you two deserve each other. If she would rather give up a committed marriage for an idiot like you, then Eve isn’t who I thought she was in the first place, I say this again Eve, you are a bitch!”

“You take back what you said T.C., don’t you disrespect Eve like that ever again, or you will answer to me!” he said getting in his face.

“Disrespect her, try what she has done to me. Oh don’t you worry Eve, you will soon find out just what kind of man Julian Crane is when you are left all alone and he is gone off to someone else.”

“You apologize right now T.C. or else!”

“Or else what Crane?”

“Or else you won’t be standing!” Julian said angrily.

“Julian, no it’s not worth it, no more violence, no more fighting, don’t worry about it.” Eve said trying to let it go.

“I will worry about it, he has no right to talk to you like that and I am not going to let him Eve.” He said looking at her.

“I have had enough of this bull, I want both of you out of my damn house right now! Eve you are no longer welcome here and when Simone and Whitney find out what you’ve done, you will have no one to turn to.”

“T.C., Eve had more to tell you.”

“I have heard enough, I don’t give a rat’s ass what else either of you has to say, knowing that my wife would rather be with you is enough to kill me as it is, so get the hell out and don’t ever come back!”

“You are really asking for it T.C.” Julian said with no fear of him.

“Julian, you know I hate fighting, please, don’t make it any more difficult, come on, let’s go. T.C., I will return for my belongings.” Eve said.

“Why bother Eve, they are going out in the trash anyway. If you want to stop by and pick through the garbage, be my guest.” He said angrily.

“Don’t worry Eve, I will buy you everything you need.” Julian said touching her arm.

“Yeah you do that Crane, brag about how much money you have and what you can buy, you always do, oh and Eve?”

She looked at him.

“You made your choice, we are through, the only time I want to see your face is when we are in court for our divorce.” T.C. yelled.

“Come on sweetheart, he is just being a jerk, we don’t need to take this, let me get you out of here.” Julian said.

Julian grabbed their coats and shut the door. Eve was shaking as he opened the car door, so upset from their ordeal. When Julian started up the car, he looked at Eve for one moment and then she couldn’t control her emotions, and balled her eyes out. He pulled her close to let her cry against him.
