~*Prescription For Love*~
*~Chapter One~*

Julian looked down at the photo of his younger sister, Sheridan. She was in so much pain after losing her child; it was only then that he realized how much pain that Eve must have gone through after she lost their child together. Sighing, he poured a glass of rum in a glass and sat down in his favorite leather chair as music of Eve's singing filled the air.

"Oh Eve, I made a resolution to you about finding our son, and don't worry, I won't break that." Julian murmured to himself.

"What's that pookie? You trying to promise yourself something you are bound to break again?" Rebecca asked, interrupting his train of thought.

"Nothing Rebecca dear...absolutely nothing. I need to do some paperwork and get some fresh air. I'll see you later on okay?" Julian replied as he got up, turned off the music and then returned his glass to the try. He kissed Rebecca on the cheek as he left the room.

"It better be nothing pookie…after all, your precious doctor can be taken care of at moments' notice." Rebecca called after him, as she debated if she should follow him or not.

"Luis, can I come out of my bedroom yet? I already changed a million times for you and I'm getting impatient." Sheridan asked through the locked door connecting her room, the hallway and the living room.

"Not yet." Luis responded as he fixed his tuxedo tie, and double-checked his hair to see if it was all in place.

"Come on Luis…These heels of mine are killing me."

"I'll have to carry you across the threshold in that case then." Luis replied as he unlocked the door, and became face to face with Sheridan.

Her eyes were twinkling like the time they first made love with each other nearly 3 and half years ago. She looked absolutely radiant in the sleeveless lilac gown that she had chosen with a diamond necklace for an added touch.

"Luis, it's beautiful, I can't believe you did this all for me…"

"Shh…" Luis interrupted as he put a finger on her lips to silence her, and stepped beside her to pick her up.

"Luis, what you doing?"

"Carrying you over the threshold like I promised." Luis replied, as he picked her up and walked her into the candle-lit room and twirled her around twice before laying her back down on her feet.

"In that case, I must pay you back Officer…" Sheridan responded as she pulled Luis in her direction and kissed him tenderly on the lips.

"Do I have to give a ticket this time, because you are sure are guilty in the crime of making me love you so much, and learning to love you more and more each day."

"No tickets are allowed, just show me where the jail cell is and you can be my guard for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 52 weeks a year."

"Having fun my darling Sheridan?" Alistair laughed as he watched his feed of Sheridan's cottage while working at his desk.

"Mr. Crane, this just came for you." Alistair's secretary interrupted, and handed an envelope to him.

Alistair grabbed the envelope from his secretary and opened it out. Inside contained a copy of a phone message, an audio tape, and a security tape. Alistair looked at the envelope again; it was from his buddies across Harmony including the hospital. Putting in the tape into his tape decoder, he listened carefully as he tried to recognize the voices on it.

The Audio Tape...

"Beth, listen to me by having Sheridan committed into the Psych. Ward, she'll be one step closer to me." A garbled Antonio's voice began to come.

"But Antonio, how does that let me land Luis? It doesn't. Luis will still find someway to find his way back to Sheridan. He doesn't give a rat's ass about our child, it's always Sheridan this…Sheridan that…And I'm freaking sick of it!" Beth responded.

"Beth, don't worry. Alistair is on our side."

"Oh...Alistair…He's a really nice man isn't he?"

"Uh yeah…sure he is…he's helping me get Sheridan back isn't he?"

"Yea yea…And he's helping me get Luis…Whatever…"

End of the audio tape..

The tape fizzled out then as Alistair whispered to himself, "Patience Antonio and Beth, you'll get your wish, just as long mine is granted in the process, that is…the destruction and love of Sheridan and Luis!"

The VHS tape was still on his desk, and Alistair debated if he should see it or not. He already had live porn by seeing Sheridan and Luis make love, but decided to check on it anyway. He placed the tape into the VCR, and pressed play.

A picture slowly appeared, it was of Dr. Ackland's office and of Dr. Ackland himself. The video zoomed in, and a voice started to be heard; it was of Dr. Ackland's.

"Yes, I'd like to leave a message for a Mr. Lopez Fitzgerald. It's regarding Sheridan Crane...er...Lopez Fitzgerald" Dr. Ackland told the person on the other side.

His voice was silent for a moment, and then he said, "Can you tell them Ms. Crane…Lopez Fitzgerald is going to be readmitted into the Pysch. Ward for psychiatric care? And yes, this is urgent. Thank you."

Dr. Ackland hung up the phone then, and walked away from his desk.

Alistair angrily stopped the tape; he didn't want to see anymore. He yanked out the tape from the VCR, and broke it with his bare hands before tossing into the garbage flame with a lit match. As it broke into flames, Alistair laughed, and shouted out "Betraying me isn't the answer doctor, I warned you what was at stake. But now, it's time to get even."

Antonio stuffed the phone message of Dr. Ackland's into his pocket. He couldn't believe what he was doing. He pretended to be a houseguest of the Lopez Fitzgeralds as he took the message, part of him did regret it…well almost. Even though he was Sheridan's husband, he knew that Luis couldn't see this message at all.

As he walked outside in the crisp winter air of Harmony's towards the place where Liz was staying, he couldn't help but remember the times he had shared with Sheridan when she was Diana, and he was Brian; and hoped that one day, that it would all return to him.

He loved Sheridan, but not for her as Sheridan, but as Diana. Maybe that was the mistake he had made, he never learned how to love Sheridan, and he hated it. Only Luis loved Sheridan, but he loved Diana. Differences aside, there had to be a way of fixing things, but first both his brother and his wife had to be temporarily out of the picture.
