*~Prologue~*
"Now you listen Dr. Ackland, you must make sure my daughter stays here for life. If you don't, I'll make sure you never work in this town, the United States, and the world for that matter." Alistair boomed.

"I'll do my best sir..." Dr. Ackland responded as he jotted down some notes on his notepad.

"No, I don't want the best...I want her IN the insane asylum...for life.."

"Yes sir...Here are the admission papers. Please have another family member like her husband sign them to have the process move more quickly."

Alistair grabbed the papers before Dr. Ackland could change his mind. As he strolled off as he thought to himself, "Sheridan, you've betrayed me as a child, and I sent you away, you betrayed me as an adult, so I'm sending you away again…hopefully this time you'll never come back."

With Alistair out of sight, Dr. Ackland tried to reassure himself that he was doing the right thing; after his entire career was on the line. He didn't want to help Alistair, he really didn't and as he gave it more thought, he felt it was best if he'd contact Sheridan's other family members to tell them that he was on their side.

"Antonio is so hurt Luis, it's all my fault." Sheridan told Luis as she rushed into his arms to cry.

"Sheridan, you were only protecting him. It's going to be all right." Luis replied, wiping her tears away, and then running his fingers through her hair.

"But Luis…."

"No but's…" Luis interrupted, and continued, "…I already told Beth that you are the one I love, and always will. I'll support the baby which I had with her but I rather be with you and find out what happened to ours."

"I hope she took it all right…"

"She will, she knows I love you, and I've reminded her of that many times. Hopefully this time it will sink in."

"Thank you Luis, thank you for listening. The love I have for you is so hard to describe because it's so special."

"Anytime Sheridan, I love you in more ways than one, and I always will." Luis replied as he cuffed Sheridan's chin in his hand and pulled her into a passionate kiss.

"Have your fun and love making while it lasts Sheridan, my dear. Because after tonight, you'll be in your new home, with people just like you." Alistair laughed as he looked at his camera feed at his daughter's cottage and lit a cigar.

Alistair looked over at the papers he took off Dr. Ackland to admit Sheridan. Alistair had to get rid of Sheridan before the scoundrel by the name of Luis Lopez Fitzgerald began digging around the Crane family and their secrets again to find out what happened to his father, Martin Fitzgerald.
