"Where the hell is my TV dinner?" Mrs. Wallace asked. Beth glared at her mother.
"It's in the freezer, mother." Beth said with a sigh.

"Why are you glued to the TV?" Mrs. Wallace asked.

"I'm trying to find out if they've found any information on Luis's sister yet." Beth said.

"For the last time you'll never have Luis!" Mrs. Wallace said. "It doesn't look like you'll get any Lopez-Fitzgerald men."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Beth asked.

"It means that Antonio just ran off to Paris with Gwen Hotckiss." Mrs. Wallace said.

"Some Christmas Eve this is turning out to be." Beth sighed. "Wait did you say Gwen Hotchkiss?"

"Yes!" Mrs. Wallace said.

"Mother, pack your bags!" Beth said. "I would leave you here, but the house probably wouldn't be in one piece by the time I got back."

"Oh yeah? Well, where are we going?" Mrs. Wallace asked. "You're not leaving me at-" Mrs. Wallace couldn't even say the word of that horrible horrible place Beth had been threatening to leave her at for years.

"We're going to Paris for Christmas!" Beth said. "How dignified is that?" Beth groaned. "I have to take my senile mother along in my elaborate schemes."

"Beth you are not-" Mrs. Wallace said.

"Mother, here's a suitcase don't forget to pack your medication, especially the sleeping pills." Beth said. Mrs. Wallace started to pack.

Julian and Rebecca smiled as they hugged their son.

"I'm so glad that Theresa didn't get out that window with our son," Julian said.

"Well, we've got our son back," Rebecca said. "It'll only be a matter of time before Theresa is arrested and charged with kidnapping."

"I'll make sure she stays behind bars for a long time." Julian said.

"I just wish that I could have talked Gwen into staying in Harmony," Rebecca said.

"I can't believe she left with Antonio of all people." Julian said. Rebecca's eyes widened.

"What are you planning now?" Julian asked.

"I just thought of a way to make Gwen come home from Paris!" Rebecca said.

"How?" Julian asked.

"Pookey, we're going to spend Christmas in Paris!" Rebecca said. Julian's jaw dropped in shock.

"Paris!?" Julian exclaimed.

"Yes, Paris! Maybe if I go to Paris, I can talk Gwen into coming home, besides, it's been a long time since my pookey and I have had a vacation together," Rebecca said. Julian smiled.

"Maybe it would do us some good to be far away from these blasted locals." Julian said. "A Christmas vacation does sound good."

"I thought you'd go for that idea," Rebecca said.

"Besides, every New Years around this place something crazy happens." Julian said. "My house always ends up being packed with those annoying locals."

"I'll go start packing the bags, why don't you call the Crane pilot?" Rebecca asked.

Kay sulked as her family decorated the tree. Jessica had been cold to her all evening, seething with jealousy for being engaged to Reese. Charity had been clinging to Miguel like there was no tomorrow, and Grace had been glaring at her across the room, occassionally pulling her aside to berate her. A tear ran down Kay's face. Sam walked up to her.

"Kay, are you alright?" Sam asked.

"It's mom," Kay said. "It's Christmas for crying out loud, and all she can do is ignore me and berate me. I know that Aunt Faith was killed in that fire and I feel bad for Charity, but it's been years and she still calls me selfish and expects me to hand everything I own over to Charity, I've seen door mats that get better treatment."

"I'll have a talk with her," Sam said.

"I think I need to go outside for a few minutes," Kay said. Kay walked outside. "Why is mom still fussing over Charity? She doesn't give a damn about me."

"I don't believe this," A mysterious figure seethed from the bushes at the Bennette house.
