“I must have been imagining things,” Julian thought later, hoping that he didn’t really see Beth and Mrs. Wallace enter the hotel.

“You are going to love Paris, Antonio!” Gwen said. “Let’s just put our bags in our room and I can show you where all of the best stores are!”

“Sounds great to me,” Antonio said. “I’ve never been to Paris before.” Antonio and Gwen looked at each other n dread when they heard a couple laughing down the hall.

“You hear it too, don’t you?” Gwen asked. “Please don’t tell me that’s-” Julian and Rebecca weren’t paying attention and ran straight into Gwen and Antonio.

“Julian and Rebecca.” Antonio said in annoyance.

“Mother, what are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay out of my problems and the next thing I know you’re following me to Paris! For the last time Ethan and I are over- we’re finished. We’re through. The end.” Gwen said.

“Gwen! I wasn’t following you!” Rebecca said. Gwen rolled her eyes in disbelief.

“Mother, I know what you’re up to and it’s not going to work!” Gwen said.

“That’s right,” Antonio said, siding with Gwen. “Gwen isn’t going anywhere.”

“So why don’t you just take Pookey and go home?” Gwen asked.

“Gwen, I wasn’t following you! Julian and I were taking a vacation to celebrate the good news!” Rebecca said.

“Good news?” Gwen asked. Julian showed Gwen that they had got Allan back. “Oh my gosh, you got Allan back! Where was he?” Gwen gave her little brother a hug.

“Well, we were right about Theresa being the kidnapper.” Rebecca said.

“If I wouldn’t have followed her, she would have taken Allan out the attic window.” Julian said.

“Wait, my sister was holding Allan hostage in our own attic?” Antonio asked. Antonio remembered Luis following Theresa up there a few days ago. “No wonder she was so nervous when Luis followed her up to the attic door the other day.”

“Luis followed her up there the other day!?” Rebecca exclaimed.

“This is appaulling!” Julian said. “He saves my sister’s life several times in Paris and when she was buried alive a few years ago, and he can’t even realize his own sister was guilty of kidnapping when it was in the next room!”

“I thought she was up to something but I just couldn’t figure out what.” Antonio said.

“Well, we wouldn’t expect you to, you’re not exactly the brightest crayon in the box, Antonio!” Julian said.

“Why I otta-” Antonio said, raising his fist.

“What are you doing here with Gwen anyways?” Rebecca asked suspiciously.

“Mother-” Gwen groaned in annoyance. “Stop interrogating Antonio.”

“Give Gwen a break and let us go put our bags in our room so we can go sight seeing.” Antonio said.

“Our!?” Rebecca exclaimed. Rebecca attempted to drag Gwen aside and lecture her. “Gwen, can I talk to you?” Rebecca dragged Gwen aside.

“Mother!” Gwen said impatiently.

“Gwen, what are you doing sharing a room with Antonio?!” Rebecca exclaimed. “The man is total leech! When you get to the room, just lock him in the closet and run! Run away as fast as you can!”

“Mother, you’re over-reacting.” Gwen said.

“Gwen, rushing into a relationship with Antonio will not help you get Ethan back! If anything, it should help you appreciate Ethan even more. If not Ethan, there are plenty of hot, single but intelligent guys waiting to snag a date at the country club!” Rebecca said. “Does this ‘our room’ have two beds?” Rebecca asked suspiciously. Her jaw dropped in shock. “Gwen, go down to the desk and demand another room right now!”

“Mother, that won’t do any good. They’re all out of rooms. It was the last we could get until our apartment is available in a few days.” Gwen said.

“Our apartment!? Does this ‘our apartment have two beds?” Rebecca asked. “Ok, maybe I should have been a little more specific and asked if it had two bedrooms?”

“Mother, I’m a little surprised to hear this from you of all people- I mean, you did ditch Daddy to marry Julian.” Gwen said.

“That’s a little different,” Rebecca said. “I love my pookey. You’re just running off with Antonio to avoid dealing with Ethan.”

“Can you blame me?” Gwen asked.

“No, because it’s all Theresa’s fault for taking Ethan to begin with, but-”

“Ok, Antonio and I are going to go enjoy our vacation.” Gwen said, walking off.

“Gwen, Antonio, and our in the same sentence is not going to be a good thing,” Julian said, walking over after Gwen and Antonio left.

Kay walked over to the dessert table after talking to Faith. Trying her best to avoid tomato soup cake, Kay was confronted by Grace.

“Kay, why don’t you leave Faith and Charity alone for a while so Charity and Faith can bond? Faith is her mother.” Grace said.

“Mom!” Kay said. “That’s not fair- Charity wasn’t even anywhere near us- she was over talking to Miguel, besides, I’m allowed to get to know my Aunt.”

“Kay, Faith is Charity’s mother.” Grace said.

“So why don’t you quit doing her job and be my mother?” Kay asked snidely. Grace glared at Kay and handed her a huge plate of tomato soup cake.

“Now why don’t you be a good girl and eat your cake by the fireplace, out of the way?” Grace asked. “Maybe Charity would spend some time with her mother if you weren’t busy clinging to her?” Grace walked over and practically dragged Charity away from Miguel. Kay looked at her tomato soup cake in disgust and threw it into the fire place. “Too bad the porthole to the good fire in Charity’s closet closed,” Kay said, watching the tomato soup cake burn in satisfaction. “I think that even the demons would be afraid to touch it.” Kay walked back over to the desert table and glared at Grace as she got some punch.

“Kay, what do you say we get everyone singing Christmas Carols? After all, it is Christmas.” Reese said.

“Sure Reese,” Kay said. Grace noticed Jessica staring at Reese. Grace walked over to Kay after Reese walked away.

“Kay, I think you should break up wit Reese.” Grace said. “It’s obvious your sister likes him.”

“Mom, I’m not breaking up with Reese. You just can’t accept the fact that I’m not a little hell-raiser, can you?” Kay asked. Grace raised her hand to slap Kay. Kay smirked.

“You know what? I don’t have time for this. I have more tomato soup cakes to bake.” Grace said.

“Too bad she can’t bake them the same way I do,” Kay said after Grace walked off. “Tomato Soup Cake Ablaze.” Kay said. “I should have got mom a new cook book for Christmas- and it would have a nice apple pie recipe.”

Tabitha watched in annoyance as the neighbors celebrated Christmas.

“Hey Tabitha, why the long face?” Connie asked. Tabitha had been remembering past Christmases since 1999.

“Oh, I was just remembering past holidays.” Tabitha said.

“Stop living in the past lane and get in the fast lane.” Cecil said. “Please, before they start singing. We have to do something fast.”

Eve and TC pulled the food out of the oven while Simone and Whitney set the table.

“At least this Christmas, it’s a little more normal around here,” Whitney said.

“Yeah, I just wish that Daddy would leave Max alone about the whole tennis thing.” Simone said.

“John is cool and all, but I wish David didn’t have to live here.” Whitney said.

“I hear a knock at the door,” TC said, leaving the room. TC went to get the door and signed for the package. When he walked into the kitchen, he saw that David had taken over his job and was following Eve around. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“TC, David was just helping.” Eve said.

“That’s right, TC,” David said.

“But I always help Eve bring the food to the table.” TC said. “Why don’t you go make yourself useful and find the remote until we’re all ready to eat?”

“Fine,” David said, leaving the room. Eve glared at him.

“I wonder what Dad was so mad about?” John asked as David walked through the room.

“Who knows,” Max said. There was a knock at the door. “Hey, I think that’s Chad and Liz!” Max said. The kids rushed to the door to find Chad and Liz.

At the hotel, Rebecca had just left Allan in the hotel’s nursery to have some time with Julian. She noticed a do not disturb sign on the door. “Hmmmm, I wonder what Julian is up to?” Rebecca asked. Rebecca put the card key in the slot and went inside to find the room covered with fake snow and decorations. Rebecca noticed a card on the bed, and mistletoe was hung. Rebecca opened the card. “Look under the tree.” Rebecca said. “Which one?” Rebecca asked. There were several trees in the room. Rebecca looked around until she found a very large box carefully hidden behind one of the trees. Rebecca attempted to drag the box. “What has Julian got in here?” Rebecca asked. Rebecca tore off the wrapping paper and laughed. “Pookey?” Rebecca asked.

“Come here,” Julian said, dragging her into the box and kissing her. Julian and Rebecca opened a bottle of champagne and fell onto the bed kissing.

Outside, Beth dug through a huge shopping bag.

“Beth, what are you doing?” Mrs. Wallace asked. Beth put a ski mask on. “I didn’t know we were going skiing!”

“We’re not going skiing.” Beth said. Beth pulled out an axe.

“Beth, what are you doing with that thing?” Mrs. Wallace asked.

“Mother, I’d suggest you shut up and stop asking questions unless you want to join your precious angels prematurely.” Beth said in annoyance.

“I’ll be good,” Mrs. Wallace said as Beth showed her the axe. “I can’t let Julian and Rebecca ruin my plans. Sure they say they want Gwen to come home but everyone knows those two are the biggest jinxes in Harmony. They’ll probably try to break Gwen and Antonio up but end up sending Gwen straight into Antonio’s arms, I can’t let that happen, can I?“ Beth thought. Beth walked over to Julian and Rebecca’s room and put the maid’s room card in the slot and opened the door. She waited around a corner.

“So, am I on the naughty or the nice list?” Rebecca asked.

“What’s the difference?” Julian asked.

“That depends on what we play first.” Rebecca said, unbuttoning Julian’s shirt. Beth jumped out from behind a corner.

“The only list you two are going to be on is the obituaries! As for what games you’ll be playing, you can play murder victims!’ Beth said. Julian and Rebecca screamed as Beth swang the axe and chopped the bed, chasing Julian and Rebecca around the room and chopping the walls.

"Who is this crazy woman!?" Julian exclaimed.

"Whoever she is she's out of her mind!" Rebecca said. Julian and Rebecca cowered in a corner while Beth continued chopping everything in sight.

"I'm not leaving this room until you two are dead so you can't interfere with my plans!" Beth yelled.

"What are you talking about!?" Julian yelled.

"Plan, what plan?" Rebecca asked. Beth lunged at the corner Julian and Rebecca were in. At the last second, Julian and Rebecca dove out of the way. Beth lost her balance and fell through the window, screaming at them as she landed in the dumpster outside. A trash truck promptly came and picked up the garabage.

"Hey no what are you doing? Let me out!" Beth yelled as she was dumped into the truck.

A few minutes later a hotel employee walked into the room. His jaw dropped in shock.

"What the hell is going on in here?" He asked.

"Some crazy woman came into our room and tried to kill us with an axe!" Julian said.

"But she fell out a window and landed in a dumpster." Rebecca said.

"You expect me to believe that?" The employee asked. The employee looked at the room. "I don't think the authorities are going to take this very seriously."

"Authorities!?" Julian and Rebecca exclaimed. The hotel employee picked up the bottle of champagne.

"Either you two must have had too much champagne or there's a lumberjack lost in the room," The employee said, looking at the chopped trees. "I'm going to have you two arrested for what you've done to my hotel room!" He yelled furiously.

"Arrested!?" Julian and Rebecca exclaimed.

"You can't arrest me, I'm Julian Crane!" Julian yelled.

"Yeah, my pookey will sue you!" Rebecca said.

"He's going to get more than a lawsuit, Becky wecky," Julian said.

"I'm being sued by people who call each other pookey and Becky wecky? I don't think so." The employee said angrilly, calling the authorities on his cellphone.

Later, Julian and Rebecca were being showed to their jail cell.

"I can't believe you're actually putting me in jail!" Julian said. "My father will make you pay for this!"

"Yeah, Alastair wouldn't let us stay in jail, would he, pookey?" Rebecca asked. Julian and Rebecca looked at each other in dread as the bars closed in on them.

"Let us out!" Julian and Rebecca screamed and ranted, yelling insults at the guards.

"I don't think this is going to do any good." Julian said.
