Eve noticed that Simone and Max were sitting inside the Book Cafe, and that TC was standing at the door. "Oh no, TC doesn't look like he is in a good mood," Eve said. Eve approached TC. "TC, what are you doing here?"
"Eve, what is our daughter doing in there with that street kid?" TC asked.

"TC, I know you don't like it, but I accept Simone and Max being together." Eve said.

"With the record that guy has?" TC asked. Eve looked at TC sadly.

"TC, there's just one thing I'd like from you for Christmas." Eve said.

      "What's that?" TC asked.

"I'd like for you to accept Max and John." Eve said. "I know I made a lot of wrong choices in the past, but John is innocent in all of this."

"I guess I'm just afraid that if I accept John, then David Hastings will be forced into our lives. Remember what happened to Sam and Grace when Ivy hired him into breaking them up?" TC asked.

"TC, please think about what I said and try to give John a chance," Eve said.

"I'll try," TC said reluctantly. TC looked in through the Book Cafe window.

"TC, why don't we find someplace else to go out for dinner?" Eve asked.

"Alright," TC said reluctantly. TC followed Eve away from the Book Cafe.

Sam arrived at the mansion and started questioning Julian and Rebecca.

"You say the window was left wide open?" Sam asked.

"I don't know how, it was locked before," Rebecca said.

"I'll go upstairs and check everything out," Sam said. Julian and Rebecca followed Sam upstairs. Sam started investigating the room and looked out the window. Sam noticed a black scarf that was caught on the windowsill and pulled it in. "I found a clue." Sam said.

"A clue?" Julian and Rebecca asked.

"What did you find?" Julian asked.

      "A scarf," Sam said.

"Where did that come from?" Rebecca said. Rebecca looked at the name brand label. "Definitely not mine."

"I'll take it down to the police station and check for fingerprints," Sam said. Sam left the mansion.

"If I find out who took our son, they'll regret it," Rebecca said angrilly. "I'll make damn sure of that."

Theresa sneaked out of the attic window.

"If I can't talk to my family and let them know I'm alive, I have to at least see them," Theresa said sadly. Theresa looked in through the window where she saw Pilar decorating the Christmas tree while Luis and Sheridan kissed. Theresa smiled as Miguel came into the room followed by Charity, who were greeted with some of Pilar's hot cocoa. "I miss all of them so much," Theresa said sadly. Theresa leaned closer to the window, but the box underneath her gave out, sending her crashing to the ground.

      "What the hell?" Luis asked.

"That was odd." Miguel said. "You're all going to think I'm crazy, but I could have sworn that I saw Theresa's face looking in through the window."

"Miguel, Theresita is dead," Pilar said in confusion.

"I know," Miguel said sadly. "I guess I just miss her so much, especially around the holidays."

"Yeah, I keep expecting to turn around a corner and bump into her," Luis said.

"She was so young to die in such a horrible way," Pilar said. "Drowned by falling off of the wharf during that strange earthquake."

"So many strange things happened that night," Sheridan said. Sheridan remembered being trapped in the warehouse with Luis as the building collapsed.

"You're going to think this is crazy," Luis said. "It's like ever since that party at the Crnae mansion over a year ago when we were celebrating Sheridan and Antonio's return, and everyone started having those strange visions of what could have been if they would have made different choices, then strange things started happening to everyone in town, like Theresa not being the real Mrs. Crane and Ethan turning out to be the father of her baby."

"Or everything that's happened to the Russels," Sheridan said.

"I wonder how much that zombie Charity had to do with everything?" Charity asked.

"This is all so strange," Pilar said.

Theresa sneaked back into the attic. "That was close," Theresa said to Allan. "I almost got myself caught. If I get caught, my plans are doomed." Theresa took off her coat and gloves and went to hang them up when her eyes widened in alarm. "What happened to my scarf?" Theresa asked in horror. Theresa knew that Julian and Rebecca had probably figured out that the baby was missing by now and had probably already had Chief Bennett investigating.
