Today’s show wasn’t bad.

Subject: Best teen scene in AGES

Ok, I know I’m being cruel, but, I totally and completely enjoyed one teen scene in particular today.

You know which one.

Our teens, and Tabby/Timmy, are stuck down in the cave. The Warlocks have been pretty pissed, and so they are gonna take it out on them. Rocks begin to fly everywhere, and one hits Jessica.

I was happy to see that Kay genuinely went to Jessica’s aid because she was worried about her sister. Jessica was Ok, and they were trying to find a way out of there, when rocks came down even harder, thus giving me that wonderful teen moment:

Them, all unconscious…..out like a light. Saying nothing.

Sigh….

Wasn’t that a wonderful vision?

But, of course, it couldn’t last long.

They wake up, and they discuss the Warlocks and Miguel comments that he doesn’t believe in them. Just then, smoke rises from the ground, and a Warlock appears to all of them. The Warlock tells them that there has to be a death before they are satisfied. He says that they know who they want. Timmy and Tabby both think it’s her.

Subject: Sam, you can’t be unfaithful…you’re not married

I’m not a Savy fan, but, I did enjoy their scenes today. Sam is holding Ivy, trying to keep her warm until he can contact help. They begin to talk, and while Ivy wants Sam to talk about the past, he asks her to tell him what she remembers. She tells him about the beach, and that she is sorry that she didn’t have faith in him and that she allowed others to come in between them. She remembers his kisses and asks Sam to kiss her now. Sam says that he can’t. And, that he doesn’t like to remember a past love because he thinks it’s betraying Grace. That he would not betray her, and Ivy reminds him that he wouldn’t be betraying Grace, because she’s not his wife she’s David’s.

Poor Sam. The look on his face was so pitiful.

Kim Ulrich plays vulnerable quite well. I actually felt sorry for Poison Ivy.

Subject: IS David toying with Grace…. Or is he sincere?

David left off, IMO, manipulating Grace, by going to her one real insecurity point Sam and his feelings for Ivy. She insists that Sam loves her. That, yes, Sam and Ivy were involved in the past, but that was in the past. That he loves her.

Seeing that this tactic was making Grace defend Sam, David backed off a little. He was even complimentary to Sam, telling Grace that it was obvious that Sam was an honorable man, and that he would never cheat on Grace…….BUT…..maybe it was that same honor, that was making Sam blind to his REAL feelings.

David even injured himself, and of course, Grace had to fix him up.

I go back and forth between my feelings for David. Sometimes I think he’s sincere, and other times, I just don’t buy it. But, if he’s a con, he’s a GOOD one, and knows how to use emotional blackmail. The man brought up a specific Saint that Grace used to pray to, thus adding to his ‘evidence’ pile. I do think the fact that Grace can’t SEE him in the remembered wedding is significant, and is one of the reasons why I think David has an angle.

But, he really pulled out all the stops yesterday, when he made this impassioned plea as to how much he loves her. How much he hurts, because ALL he’s ever wanted all this time is to be reunited with Grace. How he thought once they saw one another again, they would never be separated, and the agony he’s in because he realizes how much pain his love is causing for her.

Gotta give it to him…he’s slick. I do think they needed this time alone in order to advance the story, which I’m still enjoying.

Subject: ‘ Whitney, you know what room Theresa’s in, don’t you?’

Well, everyone is outside of Theresa’s room in Bermuda, covering both sides. They are banging on the door, but, Julian’s not letting anyone in. He’s got his hand over Theresa’s mouth, covering it, so that Ethan doesn’t hear Theresa call for him again.

They all looked stupid, but, maybe that’s the point of this mess in Bermuda. That’s the problem with Passions  - they take a good thing and don’t know how to keep it that way.

Whitney is doing her best to get everyone away from the room, and Julian realizes it, which results in the funniest line of the day:

" You go to it, Girlfriend."

LOL!

Julian is supposed to be this rich WASP, how would he know that and the ‘WHASSUP’ phrase from a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, Ben Masters plays it perfectly.

Whitney tells Chad that he would feel obligated to tell Ethan if she revealed what she knew, which is why she’s keeping it to himself. Of course, this doesn’t please Chad.

Edumb is Edumb…..what else can I say?

Once Whitney is successful in getting them away, Julian decides that it’s time for him to leave. He opens the door to Theresa’s room, and there’s someone there!

Who, we do not know.

My money’s on Whitney, though.
