Today was a ok. Nothing to write home about.

Subject: Warlock Island – Charity and her ‘visions’.

While the kids are trying to find a way through the rock, Charity is inside with the Warlocks. Before I begin on Charity, Reese seemed to be looking at his Palm Pilot. Was that his trusty, handy dandy computer that he looked up and found out that there was supposed to be a Cave there? And, if so, if THAT internet connection worked, then why wasn’t Reese doing an email, trying to get them some help OFF the Island? Am I being too logical? Sorry.

But I digress.

Charity is inside with the Warlocks. They are telling Charity that Tabitha is the witch that sentenced them to be doomed on the Island. Charity doesn’t believe them. Tabitha is a sweet old woman; her next door neighbor. They tell her that Tabitha is evil, and if Charity has any hope of saving her friends, then she has to help the Warlocks, and destroy Tabitha.

While Charity is contemplating this, Tabby and Timmy are in Norma’s trap, trying to find a way out. Timmy thinks that the best way out is with the Warlock Sceptre, but, Tabby doesn’t want him to touch it. When it begins to glow, Timmy, wanting to help his precious Charity, casts a spell, and as a result, the entrance to the cave is opened so that the kids can continue to look for Charity.

Charity is still with the Warlocks, and they’re showing her the future. She asks what has happened to the others. She sees a funeral with a coffin, and Sheridan’s picture on top of the coffin. She asks about Luis, and they tell her that she knows – Luis is lost. The next picture she sees is of Theresa. She’s in a fancy bedroom, and the picture of Ethan is at her nighttable. Charity says that she doesn’t see what’s wrong with that. She might find it odd that Theresa is rich, but, she looks OK. The Warlocks tell her to look deeper, all is not as it seems. Theresa is at the table, and then we see ‘ a hand’ touch her shoulder. Theresa doesn’t look too happy to have the hand touch her. Charity wants to know who the hand belongs to, and they tell her it will come in time.

Before Charity will agree to help them, she has to find out about her and Miguel. The ‘futurevision’ shows Charity Miguel, taking off his tux. He’s talking to his ‘bride’ about their beautiful wedding, and how much he loves her. Charity says that she knew that they would be together. As Miguel approaches the bed, talking about the depth of his love, and how this woman is the only one for him, the smile evaporates from Charity’s mouth when she hears the VOICE of the woman. I cracked up when Charity said, ‘ that’s not my voice’.

Nope, sure isn’t, Charity. And, we see the face to match the voice – it’s Kay. Kay and Miguel are smooching down. They are the ones that got married. I’m not throwing a party just yet. This story has been going on for TWO YEARS with NO progress. It’s hard for me to believe that there will be any progress. I’ll believe it when I see it, and not a minute sooner. And, I won’t be fooled by any dumb Warlock-induced visions.

Subject: Action in Bermuda

You had Julian and Rebecca manipulating, but, they are doing it for opposite reasons.

Julian, totally thinking with ‘little Julian’, was as slimy as I’ve ever seen him today. He was talking with Bruce about how he’s decided to stay married to Theresa. That she’s a hot little number, and he should have her. Bruce tries to remind Julian of two small facts: a) Theresa doesn’t want him, and b) Rebecca thinks SHE is going to be Mrs. Julian Crane.

Julian says that Theresa just hasn’t been exposed to the full force of his charms, and once that happens, she will enjoy being with him. And, Julian is totally dismissing Rebecca, which is SUCH a mistake. Even IF she didn’t know all the secrets about the Cranes that she does, Julian dismissing her is SUCH a mistake.

Whatever you want to say about Rebecca, the woman is one of the smartest characters on Passions. She’s ALWAYS looking beneath the surface and is able to pick up changes in things swiftly (like Julian defending Theresa). She knows that something is up with Theresa, and thinks that she’ll be helping herself if she finds out what it is. She admitted today that she thinks whatever Theresa’s involved in affects her. Oh, Rebecca, how close you are to the truth about that.

Since Rebecca can’t get anything out of Theresa or Julian, she decides to go to someone that she thinks might be able to help her: The Justice of the Peace. Rebecca slithers over to him, and starts pouring on her Playboy Bunny charm, telling him  that she can see that he’s upset about something, and that she only wants to help him be relieved of the stress. As she massages the JOP, he flashbacks to Julian and Theresa’s ceremony. He admits to Rebecca that something is bothering him, but that if he tells her, she has to keep it between them. Rebecca promises to do exactly that…

Uh oh!

Now, where is everyone else?

Whitney, Theresa and Gwen are upset about the Military Man telling them that the men must be dead. He tells her that the boat was spotted broken apart, and that there were bodies floating around. Whitney and Theresa are praying that it isn’t true.

Gwen isn’t praying. She is damning the Military Man for trying to say that they are dead. She goes to Julian and tells him that he should be doing something. She doesn’t understand how Julian can be acting that way. Why he isn’t moving heaven and earth, using his Crane connections to find Ethan. She accuses Julian of not wanting to find Ethan. She doesn’t understand how he can raise Ethan all this time , and not seem to want to help find him. Not only did I enjoy Gwen, but, I loved the aching that Natalie infused Gwen with today. And, a big BOO-HISS to JER for writing Julian like this. This is SO unnecessary. How could the man whose heart was totally shattered by the paternity revelation, be actually counting on Ethan to DIE, so that he can get a ‘booty call’.

BOO- HISS JER!

Julian was telling Theresa that they didn’t have to get an annulment after all if Ethan is dead. Theresa is insisting that they need to get an annulment. I did enjoy Whitney tell Julian, when he was trying to dismiss her, that she was NOT going to leave Theresa alone with him, and that maybe he needed to get her something, if he was that worried. The look he gave Whitney, of, ‘Damn, she is TC’s daughter’, was priceless.

Gwen observed Julian and Theresa talking and agreed that something was going on between them, but, she was trying to find out more information about Ethan, Luis and Chad.

Now, where were our three heroes?

Washing away at sea. Holding onto driftwood. They found Luis, and are just trying to survive.
