Swept Away, Chapter 12 (Evian)
by ejcrane

“EVIL KNEVIL!” Eve screamed.

Tc had tracked the dog feces inside and it was now a stain on her carpet.

Both Evelyn and J.J. came into the room.

“You called, Mother?” they said simultaneously.

She hated when they would act innocent, when they really knew that they were in trouble.

“Don’t act as if you don’t know what’s going on,” she said sternly.

“It was me, Mom, Evelyn had nothing to do with it,” J.J. stepped forward.

“Well, what a surprise? Taking up for your own pranks, hmm?”

“Yes.”

“Well, now I want you to go out back and clean up Tc’s shoes.”

“Yes, ma’am,” J.J. stalked to the patio with Tc’s stank shoes.

Evelyn followed her brother. She figured that since he had helped her with her mess, she would help him with his.

Eve had wondered where Tc had gone to. He must’ve taken a drive to cool off. It had been twenty minutes and J.J. and Evelyn were still outside, so she went over to the sliding door to take a peek at them to see if they were doing as they were told. They were. J.J. then looked up and saw that his mother was watching them. He smiled at her and then went back to work on the sole of Tc’s tennis shoe. Eve smiled back. Boy, J.J. looked like Julian so much. His straight white teeth sparkled when he smiled, just like his fathers. Eve missed Julian terribly…
---

It was already the end of the week and Julian was to pick up the kids. Eve made sure that they had had everything they needed, and told them to just knock on the bathroom door and tell her that they were leaving, while she took a shower. They agreed and waited patiently for their father downstairs in the living room.

Julian arrived and the kids fibbed a little, telling Julian that J.J. was in the shower and wanted to talk to him, and for him to go up and go in, since the door was left unlocked. Julian shrugged and ran up the stairs to see what was wrong with his son. The kids downstairs smiled at each other, for they knew that J.J. was up in his room with a fever…but their mother was in the shower waiting for their farewell.

He reached the top of the stairs and walked down the hallway to the bathroom. And as the kids had informed him, the door was unlocked, so he walked in. He stood in front of the curtain and was about to speak, but cleared his throat instead.

Eve, for her part, distinctively smelled a man’s cologne and guessed it was Tc. And then when she heard him clear his throat, she knew it was him.

“Tc? What took you so long?” she said seductively as she pulled back the shower curtain all the way to come face to face with Julian.

His eyes met hers, and then traveled down her body, where they remained on her voluptuous breasts. Water was dripping off of her body and Julian could feel himself get hard at just the sight of her. He swallowed.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!” she screamed.

“I thought J.J. was in here,” he blinked, but kept his eyes on her chest, “At least that’s what the kids told me.”

Eve finally reached out and grabbed the towel off the rack and wrapped it around her body. She looked at him suspiciously.

“The kids told you that J.J. was in here?” she stared at him as he nodded, “They told you that he was in here, when they very well knew that I was showering, because I told them to come tell me ‘bye’ before they left, and because they know darn well that J.J. is in his room asleep because he has a fever,” she raised a brow, “Julian, please,” she rolled her eyes and began walking out of the restroom.

Julian followed after her.

“Honest, Eve, that’s what they told me.”

She stopped and turned around, and that’s when Julian bumped right into her causing her towel to drop to the floor.

“Here, let me get that for you,” he grinned as he bent down slowly and grabbed the towel.

Julian then stood and extended the hand with the towel to her, but as she grabbed for it, he raised his hand to make her reach for it. And when Eve reached for it, her breasts rubbed up against his clothed covered chest. She closed her eyes as her breasts responded to being this close to him.

He then backed her up against the wall, his face inches from hers.

“How have you been, Eve?” he looked into her eyes and then looked further down to her lips, and then looked past her neck and watched as her breathing caused her breasts to slowly bounce up and down, yet never touching him.

“Just give me the towel, Julian.” She whimpered as she felt his breath upon her face.

Julian’s index finger touched her cheek lightly. It was as if he wasn’t even touching her, but he was…she could barely feel his caress. And then she felt is glide along her neck, and then below, but it stopped.

“Does Tc make you feel good?” his lips inched closer to hers.

“I don’t know? Does Tracy make you feel good?” Julian’s lips brushed her bottom lip, “Does she know what kind of man she married?” Eve whispered.

Julian stopped and pulled from her.

“‘What kind of man she married?’ What does that mean?” he got defensive.

“Maybe I should’ve warned her? Warned her about what kind of man she was dealing with,” she shrugged.

“And just what kind of man am I?” he threw the towel at her and stood back as he crossed his arms.

“I don’t know, but you sure do like to fool around when you’re married,” she gave him a look.

He scoffed.

“Oh, I see how you feel,” he nodded, “Well, it was good seeing you, Eve…I’ll just say ‘bye’ to my boy, and then I’ll leave…” he said sarcastically and walked out and went straight for J.J.’s room.

Eve stood outside her son’s room and listened in on him and Julian. Julian wished him well, and kissed him, and told him he’d call him tonight to see how he was feeling, and then he left.

In the car is where three-fourths of the quads decided that pranks were out. Getting their parents in uncompromising positions was “in”. They all grinned at their father as he stared curiously back at them through the rear view mirror.
---

They all got to the mansion, and Evelyn, Evangeline, and Julius all greeted Tracy. She gave them a look of suspicion. What were they up to?

“Why don’t we all watch a movie tonight?” Evelyn suggested, “Tracy, you can pick out the movie,” she said sincerely.

Tracy looked over at Julian with an expression of, “is this for real?”

“Okay, but why don’t we all pick out that movie together,” she smiled.

They all rented a movie and were in the family room sitting on the couch and floor getting ready to watch their movie.

“I wonder what mom and Tc are doing.” Evangeline commented as she nudged her sister.

Evelyn looked over at her. Did her sister just start this conversation? Little “goodie-goodie” Evangeline?

“I don’t know, Ang, probably kissing on the sofa like they always do,” she began giggling as did Evangeline and Julius.

Julian overheard and didn’t like what he was hearing. Just the mental picture of Eve and Tc together made his stomach hurt.

Tracy noticed Julian’s reaction, and wondered what was wrong.

The movie began, and everyone quieted and watched it in silence. The kid’s and Tracy’s eyes were glued onto the screen as Julian’s wandered around the room. His mind was on Eve’s body and the way he found her today. She was so close to him and naked, but he couldn’t seem to touch her, and oh how he wanted to.
---

They were baking in the kitchen the next day and that’s when Julius made a comment.

“You know who makes the best chili?”

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him.

“TC!” the three of them chimed together and then giggled.

Julian simply rolled his eyes. He was really getting tired of hearing that fool’s name, but that gave him an idea. He was going to call Eve and check up on J.J.

“Eve, it’s Julian…” he spoke into the phone.

Tracy looked up.

“I’m good, and how are your breasts…I mean, the rest?” he corrected himself.

Tracy stared at Julian. Did she just hear what she thought she heard?

“And how’s J.J. doing?” he nodded, “Oh, I’m glad…well, tell him that I called and that we said ‘hi’. Okay, Eve…bye,” he said and hung up.

He met Tracy’s glare.

“Honey, is something the matter?”

“No,” she shook her head and turned on the mixer.
---

It was now Sunday and Julian was dropping off the kids back at their mother’s. He went in to check on J.J. and that’s when he saw Tc grading papers in the living room.

“Julian, how are you?”

“Good…and you?”

“I’m fine,” he looked down at his papers, “Oh, and J.J.’s up in his room if you want to see him. He seems to be feeling better. I just gave him his medicine a few minutes ago…”

“That’s good, thank you. And Eve?”

Tc looked up.

“She’s working late tonight; I can tell her you asked for her if you want me to?”

“No, that’s okay…well, I won’t be but a minute.”

“That’s cool,” Tc said and went back to his grading.

Julian walked up the stairs and then looked back down at Tc. That was the most civil conversation he had ever had with that man. Was Eve right? Had this man really changed that much? No wonder Eve learned to love him again. Julian turned back around and walked the rest of the way up the stairs.

He knocked on J.J.’s door.

“Hey, champ! How are you feeling?” he walked in and sat on his bed, “How’s he treating you?” he pointed behind him towards the door with his thumb insinuating Tc.

J.J. stared at him in confusion.

“He’s cool, he’s been waiting on me the whole week…” J.J. nodded.

Julian’s smirk disappeared.

“Oh.”

Julian had expected to hear his son; his mischievous son, say that Tc was hard to live with, but he didn’t say that. He seemed to actually like him, as did the rest of his kids. Well, that was good news. Julius, Evelyn, and Evangeline were actually being kind to Tracy. Maybe his children were adjusting to the new people in their lives. Julian smiled. He was happy, but not as happy as he would’ve been if he and Eve were still married; raising their family together, instead of apart…
