Swept Away, Chapter 16 (Evian)
by ejcrane

“You’re pregnant?” Tc asked as he sat back in the dinning room chair and crossed his arms.

“Tc…I-…”

“Eve, you don’t have to explain; I totally understand,” he inhaled and then exhaled, “I understand why you went elsewhere,” he looked down, “I should’ve been supportive of you, but instead I pushed you away and into someone else’s arms…” he looked back up and whispered, “…Julian?”

Eve was looking down, but as soon as she heard her ex-husband’s name, she raised her head and looked Tc in the eyes.

“No! Never!” she pleaded, “That’s just it, Tc…I don’t know how this happened,” she shook her head and covered her face with her hands, “I haven’t been with anyone else, but you…honest!” she placed her hand over her heart.

Tc studied her eyes and knew Eve was telling the truth. But this just didn’t make sense. How was Eve pregnant when she hadn’t been with anyone else? Unless…

“No,” he shook his head and smiled, “No, it can’t be…” he laughed.

“Tc?” she stared at him, “Tc, what’s so funny? Why are you laughing?”

“Eve, I know this is going to sound ridiculous…but, what if the baby is mine? What if the doctor’s were wrong? What if they misdiagnosed me?” he smiled.

Something twinkled in Eve’s eyes. Could what Tc had been saying be true? They were going to have a child?!

“That would mean…that we’re having a baby!” she screamed and ran to him and knelt in front of him and hugged him.

“Oh, Eve, I love you so much!” he embraced her, his hands caressing her back.

Good news spread really fast in Harmony. Julian knew about Eve’s pregnancy in a matter of days, and it was all thanks to the quads. They couldn’t help but be excited for their mother. It meant that they were getting a new brother or sister! But, what would make them even happier was if their parents were having this baby together. They had nothing against Tc or Tracy anymore, but they still longed for their parents to be reconciled…

Eve opened up the door to her home…

“Julian?” her brows narrowed, “What brings you by?”

“I heard you were expecting, Eve,” he raised a brow as he moved her aside and let himself in.

He then took off his coat and laid it gently across the back of the couch.

“You did? How?” Eve asked as she closed the door.

“The kids, of course,” he said nonchalantly as he picked up a picture of Eve and Tc, “Nice,” he turned the picture to her and then set it down…faced down.

Eve wrinkled her eyebrows. Why had Julian set hers and Tc’s picture faced down?

Julian coughed.

“You know, Eve, I can really use a glass of water,” he smiled as he rubbed his throat.

She stared at him for a while.

“Uh, hello,” he waved a hand in front of her, “I was wondering if I could maybe get a glass of water…”

“So, let me get this straight,” she shifted her weight from one leg to the other, “You came all the way over here, from the mansion, to request a glass of water?”

“Well, should I get it or will you obliged me?”

Eve rolled her eyes and strode past him into the kitchen. While at the sink filling up a glass with water, Julian snuck in undetected and stood directly behind her so that when she turned she bumped right into him.

“JULIAN!” Eve spilt a bit of water on the floor, “What are you doing in here?! What is the matter with you; sneaking up on me!” she said as she was about to turned around to grab a paper towel, but…

Julian grabbed the glass out of her hand and set it on the counter, he then pulled Eve to him…

“Eve,” he whispered as his eyes scanned her beautiful face.

“Julian, NO!” she said firmly.

But not firm enough.

“Yes, Eve, yes…” he chanted as he planted his lips upon hers.

“No, Julian,” she breathed into his mouth, “No,” she whispered as her hands ran up his chest, past his shoulders…

Her fingers linked at the back of his neck.

“We can’t do this,” her tongue sought his, “We simply can’t…we mustn’t,” she moaned.

“I know, darling, I know,” he said.

Suddenly, Eve pulled back and slapped Julian across the face.

He raised his hand to his cheek in surprise.

“What the hell was that for?!”

“I-I-uh, don’t know?” she stepped around him and walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

Julian followed behind her.

“Eve?” he stood at the end of the couch and looked down on her.

She looked up at him.

“Is something wrong, Eve?” he asked.

Eve turned back forward and stared off. When she and Julian had kissed; it felt…it felt just like that dream she had had that week she had been sick. It was exactly like that dream. So real! But how would it be possible for a dream to feel just the same as reality? No, it couldn’t be possible.

Eve closed her eyes.

“Make love to me…I need you…”

Julian was suckling her other breast when he lifted his head.

“Are you sure, Eve?”

“Yes, Julian…yes!” she screamed out in pleasure.

He soon lifted his shirt off his body and then stood and shed his pants and boxers. Julian pulled back the covers and Eve instinctively spread her legs as Julian situated himself in between them. He closed his eyes as he marveled in the wondrous feeling of being this close to Eve once again. Their hot flaming bodies were touching, the yearning and aching in each them was growing stronger and stronger…

Julian kissed her lips softly and then whispered.

“Are you sure, Eve?”

“Yes!”

“Do you know who this is?”

“Julian, Julian…ohh, Julian!”

Her eyes shot open! Eve began shaking her head. NO! No, it couldn’t be true! IT WASN’T!

“Julian, I think you should leave.”

“What?” he took a step towards her and noticed how she flinched, “Why, Eve? What is going on in that head of yours?”

“I think it would be best if you’d go,” she stood and walked to the fireplace and rested her hands on the mantle.

“No! I am not going anywhere,” he walked behind her and spun her around.

“Julian…leave me alo--,” her words were stopped when Julian yanked her body to his and kissed her hard, “Why are you doing this, Julian?”

“Because, Eve,” he kissed her forehead, “Because you know it’s what we both want; it’s what my heart tells me to do every time I’m near you, darling,” his lips sipped at hers, “I need you, my darling…darling Eve,” Julian said before he picked Eve in his arms and carried her to the coffee table.

“But, Julian…I’m…” Eve was about to finish her sentence off with the word “pregnant”, but Julian finished it off with something they both would’ve rather heard…

“You’re mine, and I’m yours…”
---

They were moving together as one as Eve sat on the edge of the coffee table with Julian kneeling in front of her thrusting between her thighs.

“God, Eve, I love you so damn much!” he held onto her tightly as he kissed her shoulder.

“Oh, Julian! I need you!”

“I need you too; I need you so much! Just like that day we made love upstairs,” he kissed her ear, “Do you remember?” he said seductively into her ear, “It was marvelous! Absolutely…” he sighed, “…glorious,” Julian smiled into her confused face, “Darling, now what’s the matter?” he laughed, “You do remember that day, don’t you?” Julian increased his tempo as he questioned her, “That was probably the day we created our child that’s growing inside you at this moment…” he laughed as Eve was becoming more and more confused.
