I loved Eve and Julian this week. I've watched their scenes numerous times.. They were so good.
You see that TC and Eve had a fight. The writers are beginning to assert what I suspected - that Eve would choose her children over TC all the time.

She believes that TC is wrong when it comes to Whitney. This was the beginning. She 'allows' TC to bully her, because of her poor self-esteem, but for her children, she'll look outside of herself and stand up to him. I think we'll see Eve get stronger as time and problems with her children present themselves. TC better watch out.
I believe that Julian is possibly coming into his own. I think it's slowly going to happen.

I've been having debates with other folks online about Julian and Eve and their conversations at the Crane Parties. Someone complained that it happened every party.

This is true, but if you look at it, Julian and Eve's conversations have been one of true and I guess, deliberate progression. They began so far apart. But, over time, they were able to discuss their relationship. Eve was able to express- FINALLY- to Julian the depth of her anger at him, and how hard his betrayal hurt her. She had carried that inside all those years. She also admitted to Julian the depth of her love for him, which shocked him to no end.

Eve's words started Julian on a soul searching process of his own. He revealed to Eve how much he loved her and their son.

Then Eve had the vision of their son being taken. Because of the 'who shot Julian' plot of the last party, Julian didn't really 'hear' Eve when she spoke about it, and she didn't hear him when he said he had nothing to do with it.

This party, they came full circle. Julian apologized. REALLY, TRULY, SINCERELY. And, it's something, to get a sincere apology. Something happens to settle the soul. Then, she heard how Julian felt about their son, and realized that he had nothing to do with what happened to him, and that they would be on the same side. They were able to take the past, reconcile it, and now, they both could look towards the future with their son.

This is truly a progression.

Julian's experience with women, outside of Eve, hasn't been that good. I wish he'd divorce Theresa, but outside of her really not being willing to sleep with him, it's the same situation he had with Ivy: a woman, in love with another man, spending his money and trying to bar him from 'his' son. Rebecca is a concubine. I wish she'd wake up and realize that. She's Julian's current 'booty call', and he doesn't have to put out much effort to get 'the milk' from her.

Of all this spoilers, this one really interested me.

Julian realizes that T.C. has what is most important to him

Could that be Eve? I believe strongly that the only way Julian will get Eve back is to put in a serious fight for her.

I think that might be beginning. And, it begins with the search for their son. I think he's going to try and find him to 'give' him as a present to his mother.

One last thought. Of all the adults: Julian, Ivy, Sam, Eve, TC, Grace, the only two who are solidly in the present, are Julian and Eve. Everyone else is living in the past, one way or another, but Julian and Eve live and accept one another and are possibly attracted to one another in the present.
