Another day of kudos for Ben Masters. He totally brings out the best in whatever acting partner comes his way.
He did the impossible - he made me care about Whitney again.

That hasn't happened in over a year.

Julian was the Julian of fan fic. The human Julian. I don't think Julian fans, like myself, want a warm, cuddly Julian. He can still be ruthless, a SOB, snob...

but, all we ask is that he be HUMAN.

Human shouldn't be too much to ask, but it's been tough for Julian fans.

Today, he was marvelous.

Julian knew how upset Whitney was, and he tried to calm her. Tried to assure her that everything would be ok.

I loved his line about 'Cranes don't die like this, and since you're with me, you won't either'.

That was a totally Julian-esque line.

As Julian tried to comfort her, Whitney was upset, and told him not to touch her. She thought of Julian as the devil, and he told her he meant her no harm. Only wanted to offer her comfort. He told her that Eve would never forgive him if anything happened to her, and Whitney relaxed.

Julian and Whitney then talked. Whitney talked about all her regrets, and Julian said that she was too young to be talking about regrets. Whitney informed Julian that he was wrong - that she had plenty to regret. She had lived her life for other people, and that she had given up the man she loved for her family.

Julian could definitely relate to that, and flashbacked to a previous scene with Eve. Julian told Whitney about his own mistakes. How he had loved a woman and lost her because he was following what Alistair wanted.

He told Whitney NOT to repeat his mistakes. She should follow her heart, and it will lead her on the right way.

I hope Whitney listens to Julian so the entire nightmare with Simone will be over.

Brook was good today. I hadn't care for Whitney in so long, I couldn't believe it.

Ben was fabulous as ever.
