Chapter 21

It took several hours to clean up the mess from Theresa's "Welcome Home Brawl" Eve patched up everyone and sent them on their merry way.

Ethan watched as Theresa surveyed the damage to her face...

"Theresa the purpose of bail is to stay out of jail." Ethan reminded her. "Do you want to risk your freedom by starting catfights with my sister?"

"She should't have said what she did." Theresa said defensively. "She said that she was happy that Gwen is the mother of your child."

"And for that you smashed cake in her face?" He asked in disbelief. "Theresa it is this kind of behavior that made Gwen request full custody of our child." He said angrily. "And it is also the reason why you have a restraining order sworn out against you."

"Gwen is just jealous that her baby would end up loving me more." She spat. "As for that damn restraining order, I could careless, I don't want to be anywhere near that cow or her bastard spawn." She fumed.

"Theresa!" Ethan hissed. The look on his face said it all...

Theresa wished she could take back those words the second they flew out of her mouth...

"I'm sorry Ethan." She cried. "I didn't mean..."

Ethan held up his hand to stop her...

"I don't want to hear another golly word about Gwen or our child coming out of that lying mouth of yours!" He roared. "If I do, I will break your damn neck!"

Theresa knew that Ethan meant every word he had said.

"Ethan..."

"SHUT UP!!"

Theresa wrapped her arms tightly around him.

"Forgive me Ethan." She begged. "Please, please forgive me."

"Get your hands off me!" He spat as he shook her off.

"No Ethan." She protested as she wrapped her body around his legs like a clinging vine.

"Damn it Theresa! Get off me!" He demanded.

He tried to pry her from his legs but without much success...

"NO!" She shouted as she held on to him tighter. "I'm not ashamed to beg for my husband." She sobbed. "I'm not ashamed."

"Theresa, you're making a fool out of yourself." He said. "Please don't do this."

"I don't care!" She sobbed. "I don't care! I can't live without you!...My life is nothing!..."

Ethan watched helplessly as her shoulders shook from crying.

She placed a hand between his thighs and began caressing the inside of them, stopping at his crotch; fondling him, stroking him. Beneath her tears she began to smile wickedly.

A deep groan of longing escaped from his throat.

"Theresa stop! He whispered hoarsely.

"No." Theresa replied lustfully. "You can't tell me that doesn't feel good."

Ethan felt himself harden under her hand manipulations...

"Theresa...no...we can't." He protested.

"Yes we can Ethan, we're married." Theresa interjected. "We love each other."

Ethan felt himself weaken.

"Theresa this is NOT what I came here for."

She stared at his swollen crotch, his member was straining against his pants.

"You can't tell me that you DON'T want me as much as I want you." She said as she reached up and unzipped his pants. "Come on Ethan make love to me." She begged. "I NEED it, I WANT it."

Ethan could resist no longter...

He scooped her up in his arms and carried her to the bed...

Theresa was awoken by the rustling of the bed sheets. She smiled as she reached for her husband but he wasn't there.

"Ethan?" She called out.

"Yeah?" He answered as he tucked his shirt in his pants.

She sat up in bed - surprised. "Where are you going?"

"What does it look like I'm going?" He asked. "I'm getting dressed."

"But-but I thought..."

"Theresa, it was a huge mistake, we shouldn't have done this..."

"Ethan we made love..."

"No Theresa we had sex." He corrected. "My sole purpose...my ONLY purpose for seeing you was to talk to you about an annulment."

Theresa blinked twice, not sure if she heard him correctly.

"An annulment?" She whispered the word as if it was a curse.

"Yes, an annulment." Ethan repeated. "I am doing what is best for me." He explained. "Being married to you-correction being involved with you has cost me a lot over the years, but now my rights as a father are being threatened."

"It's not my fault."

"You're right Theresa, I can't put all the blame on you. I was a jerk for throwing away the best thing I ever had."

"No Ethan, tht's not true." She protested. "Gwen isn't the one for you, I am and I always will be."

"I'm sorry Theresa, but I realized a lot of things in the past months and one thing I do know for certain is that you are not good for me."

"Ethan how can you say that? You asked me to marry you."

"Big mistake." He sneered.

"It wasn't a mistake, we were meant to be."

Ethan shook his head. "I'm sorry Theresa, it was a mistake.

"You can't leave me Ethan, I won't let you."

"Don't you threaten me little girl." He retorted. "If you don't agree to the annulment, I will make sure that you will never see the light of day outside of prison." He opened the door and walked out.

Angry tears splattered down her face. "No Ethan that wasn't you talking, it was that bitch Gwen." She sobbed bitterly. "Well I am not going to let her win." She vowed as she wiped away the tears. "Especially if I get pregnant." A wicked gleam shone in her eyes.
