"Oh God kill me and kill me now." Gwen begged as she held her head over the toilet bowl.

She was having lunch with her parents at the family home when the aroma of grilled salmon and garlic bread sent her running for the nearest bathroom.

"Gwen honey are you alright?" Rebecca asked in a concern voice. She tried to opened the door it was lock. "Gwen let me in."

"Just a sec." She said weakly. Gwen unlocked the door then made a mad dash for the toilet, barely missing it.

"I think that I puked up my entire insides." She groaned. Rebecca grinned as she handed her a cold face cloth to place it on the back of her neck. The cool rag felt good agianst her prickly hot skin.

"Thanks mother, that feel so good."

"You're welcome." Rebecca helped Gwen over to the sink and splashed several handful of cold water on her face.

"Is this is what I have to look forward to for nine months?" Gwen asked. "Being too sick to keep anything down?"

"No." Rebecca laughed. "Here." She handed Gwen a pack of saltine crackers. "Eat as many of these as you like." She instructed her. "The crackers will help settle your stomach."

"Are you for real?" She asked incrediously. "Crackers can do that?"

"Yes." Rebecca giggled."Now eat up."

Gwen took her mother's advice and ate several crackers, She soon began to feel a little bit better. She threw her arms around Rebecca and began to cry.

"Thanks mother." She sobbed.

"Gwen honey what is the matter?" Rebecca asked.

"For being here." She replied. "I know that you and daddy are not together any more but I am going to need the both of you to help me get through this."

"Gwen your father and I will always be here for you." She said. "Where else will we be?"

"I don't know, I thought that you would be trying to talk me into another one of your hair brain schemes of trying to snag that creep Ethan away from his skank."

"I m not going to lie to you and say that the thought haven't cross my mind." Rebecca admitted.

Gwen rolled her eyes, "Mother..."

"But I have changed my mind." She said quickly.

"Good." Gwen sighed. "I don't need the extra stress."

"I know Gwen, I know."

"So you will not do anything to try to get me and Ethan back together, right mother?"

"I'll swear on a stack of bibles if you want me to."

Gwen smiled. "I don't think that will be necessary."

"Do you think that you can eat a little something now?"

"Sure." Gwen nodded. "I think I can handle a bite or two."

The two women rejoined Jonathan in the dinning room.

"Gwen I think that you should consider movmg back in here so we can take care of you." Jonathan suggested. "Before you get your pretty head all bent out of shape and start spewing about you're an independent woman, just think about it. Please?"

"Okay daddy." She smiled. "I'll think about it." She saw her parents glanced at each other and smiled. "Is there something going on that I should know about?"

Rebecca cheeks grew pink as she laughed like a schoolgirl talking to her crush.

"Daddy?"

"Well your mother and I are talking about getting back together." He grinned.

Gwen jumped out of her seat and hugged her parents.

"It this true? When did all of this happen? and why didn't you tell me?" She asked.

"We are taking it slow." Rebecca replied. "That is all we are going to say about it."

"Daddy?"

"Your mother is right." He said. "What we do is our bisnuess end of conversation."

"Okay." Gwen smiled.

A concern look came over Jonathan's face. "What are you going to do about that spineless wonder, Ethan Winthrop?"

"Don't worry about Ethan daddy, I can take care of him. She assured him. "All I want from him is child support."

"Gwen the simpleton don't have enough money to wipe his own ass, how is he going to support a child?"

"Frankly I don't care what he does." Gwen said nonchalantly. "I don't care if Theresa have to shovel horse manure for the rest of her life, Ethan will be paying me child support."

The thought of Theresa waist deep in horse do do made her giddy.

"That's my girl." Her father cheered. "Don't let that worm and his whore get the best of you." He advised.

"Gwennie Foo Foo no longer lives here." Gwen stated firmly. "I will not be taken for a fool again."

"It just angers me that the retarted bastard was sniffing his stepmother's filthy panties while he was leading you on at the same time!" He said angrily. "I don't care if Julian is not his biological father, in the eyes of the law, Julian is his legal father. Has he no shame?"

"Theresa told him that her son was his." Gwen replied and that was the end of us."

"She's lying." Rebecca interjected. "I bet my diamonds that bitch said that to get you away from Ethan." She fumed. "What a slutty bitch! First she marries the father and now the son?!" She began to shudder. "As you can see she likes to keep it in the family."

"Good riddance to bad rubbish." Jonathan said.

"That's what I say." Gwen agreed. "Sooner or later Ethan is going to regret ever knowing Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald, I opt for the former."

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE WILL BE LANDING IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA IN FIFTEEN MINUTES!" The flight attendant announced over the P.A, system. "PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR SEAT IS IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION AND YOUR SEAT BELT FASTEN!..."

Ethan began to stir. "Huh? Whazzat?" He asked groggily. "Am I flying?"

Theresa patted him gently on the forearm. "No silly, it just your imagination, go back to sleep."

Ethan smiled. "Silly me, how could I be fl-fl-flying unless it is on the cloud of love...." He dozed off to sleep.

Theresa felt guilty that she had to drug Ethan to get him to do what she wanted - to elope.

"I can't lose you Ethan, not when I am so close to having everything I always wanted."

The flight attendant awaken her from her thoughts.

"Your fiance is still out?" She asked incrediously. "Those must be some powerful allergy pills."

Theresa nodded her head in agreement. "I'm afraid so, the dosage is a little stronger than he is use to."

"Would you need assistance in getting him off the plane?"

"Please, if it's no trouble." She smiled.

"That will be no trouble at all."

"The first thing I'm going to do once we are settle in our hotel room is to get rid of his allergy medication." She gave the flight attendant a knowing look. "I don't want him falling asleep during our honeymoon."

The flight attendant giggled and turned a bright red. "I'm pretty sure you don't want that to happen."

After a refreshing nap, Theresa ordered some food from room service and took a well deserve shower. She ran through the list of things she had to do before the big event:

Get a marriage license...

Find a witness...

Buy some decent clothes...

Call mama...

The last four things on her list would be easy to accomplish, but the most important thing getting a marriage license was going to be tricky - Ethan had to appear in person!

Theresa was a hundered percent sure that the county clerk at the court house will not grant a marriage license to someone that was barely in their right mind. After all, this was not Bermuda!

"Where there's a will, there's a way." She grinned.

Room service brought her order and she took out Ethan's medication and took out three pills and crushed them in his orange juice.

"Ethan." She whispered. "Wake up sweetheart, it's time to eath." She smiled. "Ethan..."

Ethan opened his eyes slowly and smiled. "Hello beautiful." He greeted groggily.

"Hello handsome."

"I think the dosage of the painkillers are a little to strong, all I want to do is sleep."

A pange of guilt ran through her heart.

"I'm sure Dr. Russell knows what she is doing." Theresa smiled. "She's the one with the PHD."

Ethan sniffed the air. "Mmm, I'm famish what smell so good?"

"Clam chowder and a grilled cheese sandwich."

"Mmm sounds good, did you make it?"

"No."

"Well, I'm sure it will taste just as good."

Theresa grinned. "What a sweet thing to say."

Ethan looked around the room.

"Where are we?"

"I booked us into one of the finest hotels." Theresa said. "I used your credit card, I hope that you don't mind."

Ethan shook his head. "No, I don't mind, we need some where to stay." He began to chuckled. "If I didn't know any better, I swear we were in one of those gaudy hotels in Las Vegas."

Theresa cheeks grew hot...

"Drink your juice." She said stiffly.
