The Ultimate Betrayal - Chapter 10 (In Your Dreams)

Later that night, Julian tossed and turned in bed. Before he drifted off to sleep, he had been thinking about how scary TC would get now that he was on this anger management kick. Judging by the way that TC had turned out, he began to wonder if it was a mistake to force Rebecca to go back to the class in the morning.
Julian had just gotten back from work.

"Honey, I'm home!" Julian called. Julian was greeted by Rebecca, who was wearing normal clothes like any other person in Harmony, wearing an apron, oven mits and carrying a tray of cookies from the oven.

"Sweetiekins, you're home!" Rebecca said. Rebecca was so overjoyed to see Julian that she flung the tray of cookies across the room, ran over to Julian, threw her arms around him and smothered him with the kind of kisses that a grandmother gave a two year old child. "Becky sure has missed her sweetiekins!" Rebecca said. "Oh, while you were gone, I redecorated the bedroom, washed the dishes, did laundry, and I ordered that new family channel!" Rebecca squealed. Rebecca grinned. "Julian, you were right, that anger management class was the best idea! I love this whole 'non anger' thing so much I don't think I could ever go back! Not even if you bribed me with the entire Crane fortune! Oh who cares about the Crane fortune, I'm going to sign up for that cooking and sewing course!" Rebecca said. "And I'm going shopping tomorrow at the Harmony Discount Dollar with my new bestest best buddies in the whole wide world, Ivy and Theresa! Maybe we'll stop by the Bennette house and Grace will teach us how to make some tomato soup cakes!"

"Rebecca, Rebecca, come back to me!" Julian begged, the new Rebecca terrifying him. Rebecca stared at him with a dazed out facial expression.

"But I love... anger... management. Anger so managed...so much happier here...can't go back..." Rebecca said, sounding like Charity during a premonition. "Anger...gone...must bake tomato soup cake..."

Julian woke up screaming. He turned on the light and looked down beside him, releived that Rebecca had not really turned into a super-happy homemaker. He flashed back to TC skipping down the halls at the hospital and his nightmare about Rebecca. "There is no way I'm letting her go back to that class tomorrow," Julian said. "Ivy, Rebecca and Theresa? Friends?" Julian thought. "Yikes!" Julian thought of another yikes. "Sweetiekins?" Julian asked with a laugh. "That was a nightmare. I think I'll stick with pookey." Julian said. Julian turned out the light and went back to sleep hoping he wouldn't have another nightmare.

Eve turned out the light. She couldn't help but smirk at Liz, who was extremely furious that the anger management had actually worked.

"This was a great idea," Eve said. "It's only a matter of time before Liz is shipped off to the island again." Liz kissed TC on the cheek before turning the light out and drifting off to sleep, the first relaxing night of sleep she had came before Liz came to Harmony. In Eve's dream, she woke from a restful night's sleep to find Liz in the hallway. Liz gave Eve a resentful glare. "What's the matter, Liz?" Eve asked.

"How am I supposed to steal your husband if he's downstairs building a crib?" Liz exclaimed. "How am I supposed to steal your daughters if TC is happy?" Liz exclaimed. "Eve, I don't care how well this anger management thing works, I will steal your husband!" Liz seemed angry by the fact that she wasn't intimidating Eve.

"In your dreams, Liz!" Eve said, giving her sister an eager slap across the face. "You know, you should really consider taking an anger management class!"
