Chapter 19

Rebecca walked home, never feeling more rejected in her life.

"Pookey, how could you make love to another woman? And on our wedding night?" Rebecca asked. "I wonder if Julian is keeping anything else from me?" Rebecca asked. Rebecca was humiliated that Julian had made love to another woman on their honeymoon night, when she had left to get costumes and things. Rebecca forgot about finding out about Eve and Julian when she started having another craving for ice cream, so she ended up ordering a tipple scoop cone, with some weird combinations of ice cream and toppings, getting some weird looks from the ice cream vendor as she gave him her order. Soon she ran into Julian, who was on his way home after Eve had to go take care of an emergency at a hospital.

"Cravings for ice cream?" Julian asked.

"Not as strange as the cravings I had when I was pregnant with Gwen," Rebecca said. "You know what else sounds good right now?" Rebecca asked.

"What?" Julian asked.

"Pizza." Rebecca said. Rebecca talked Julian into having some pizzas delivered to the mansion. Julian gave Rebecca a weird look when he noticed the bizarre choice of toppings on the different types of ice cream. Julian snatched a stray gummy bear as it fell off the ice cream cone.

Meanwhile, Luis charged into Beth’s basement after getting a call from Sheridan.

"Sheridan!?’ Luis yelled.

"It’s that damn Lofitz cop again!" Charlie said, forgetting Luis’s last name.

"We’re done for," Beth said.

"They’re finished, Precious," Mrs. Wallace said triumphantly. "Luis! We’re in the basement!"

"Get us out of here, Luis!" Sheridan screamed.

"Don’t worry, Sheridan I’ll get you out of there!" Luis yelled. Luis and Sam tried to break down the door while Charlie fired a gun!

"Luuuuuissss!" Sheridan yelled. Meanwhile, Precious fantasized about saving Luis’s life. Soon the door burst down.
 

Tabitha walked in to find Kay staring into the magic bowl.

"What’s going on?" Tabitha asked.

"I was hoping I could watch Miguel and Charity’s relationship fall apart, but this whole thing between Julian Crane and Simone’s mom is really interesting!" Kay said.

"Isn’t it?" Tabitha asked with a smirk.

"It’s also interesting that Coach Russell used to be involved with Rebecca Hotchkiss," Kay said. Kay munched on some pop corn.

"What did you say?" Tabitha asked, that being a newsflash.

"TC was thinking about it in his shed, apparently Rebecca left him when he couldn’t play tennis anymore. Kay cringed.

"What?" Tabitha asked.

"I couldn’t really picture TC being called pookey." Kay said.

"That’s true," Tabitha said, laughing at the thought of a man who’s favorite passtime was beating the hell out of anyone who looked at him the wrong way being called ‘pookey.’

"Oh, she knows." Kay said.

"Who knows what?" Tabitha asked.

"Rebecca. She overheard everything. She overheard Eve and Julian talking about how they made love on their honeymoon night and how Eve’s baby might be Julian’s.

"Oh no," Tabitha said. "All hell is going to break loose. If Rebecca was to find out I made love to Julian, she’d kill me. I’d hate to be in Eve’s shoes right now."

"Don’t worry, Tabitha! Rebecca’s so worried about Julian dumping her for Eve if he gets the opportunity that she decided to keep quiet about it! She actually decided not to play any tricks because she knew she’d have TC to deal with!" Kay said. "Wow, this is one really messed up triangle." Kay said.

"Tell me about it. Rebecca might let Julian get by with getting Eve pregnant because she thinks he might divorce her for Eve and leave her to take care of the baby herself, but if she found out that I was pregnant? She’d probably try to kill me!" Tabitha said.

"Well, Tabitha, what are you going to do when everyone in Harmony knows your secret?" Kay asked.

"I don’t know, but take care of one thing!" Tabitha said.

"What’s that?" Kay asked.

"Rebecca Crane," Tabitha said.

"Tabitha, don’t you think you should just let it go?" Kay asked.

"If I know one thing, it’s that Rebecca is trouble." Tabitha said. "Not to mention a Crane."

"Oh, come on, like anyone is going to take anything she says or does seriously," Kay said.

"Rebecca might be an air-headed floozy as Liz said at the Sea Scape, but she’s too smart for her own good." Tabitha said. "Too smart for my own good if she finds out about Julian being the father of my baby! I can’t let the truth get out!" Tabitha said.

"What are we going to do?" Kay asked.

"We’re going to make sure the truth about my baby’s father never comes out!" Tabitha said.

"How are we going to do that?" Kay asked.

"I’m not sure yet but I’ll make sure no one ever knows." Tabitha said.
