Chapter 19, Part 2

"Oh pookey we just have to get this, and this, and
this-" Rebecca said. Julian wondered if she was
planning on buying out the whole store.
"T.C, we just have to get this baby book!" Eve said.

"I am so excited that we're having our first son!"
T.C. said.

Later, Julian was sitting at a table, surrounded
by shopping bags, while Rebecca was having cravings
at the food court. A while later, Julian and Rebecca
arrived at the mansion. Rebecca collapsed onto the
bed in exhaustion.

"All of that shopping was really exhausting,"
Rebecca said.

"No wonder, you practically bought out the whole
mall," Julian said, looking at the tons of bags
piled around the room.

"We'll have to get that crib put together some time
soon," Rebecca said. Ivy had never let him get
involved at all, so he had no idea how to put a crib
together. "Hey, when we were at Babies Extreme did
you hear that loud growl coming from Tabitha?"
Rebecca asked.

"Yeah," Julian said. "I'm sure it's nothing,"
Julian said. He kept his other thought to himself.
"Rebecca and Eve haven't had any weird symptoms like
that!" Julian thought, the noise Tabitha had made
sounded like some kind of ferocious beast.

"Don't you think it's weird that every time Tabitha
Lennox is around something weird happens? I could
have sworn I saw her hovering in air at that other
store across from Baby Extreme when people were
realizing she was weird and she was trying to get away
from everyone. Her baby is probably some kind of demon
or something," Rebecca said. "I just wonder who the
creep is that got her pregnant," Rebecca shuddered,
feeling seriously sorry for the guy.

"Alright, enough about Tabitha," Julian said, offended
by Rebecca's remarks about the guy being a creep.

"You almost sound like you're defending her!" Rebecca
said. Julian had a feeling he was getting himself
in trouble, and Rebecca was good at figuring things out so he figured he'd better try to shut up.

"Um-" Julian said.

"I still think it's weird that even though we're
married and I'm pregnant with our baby, you still
defend everyone else." Rebecca said, still wondering how he was thinking he was getting away with meeting Eve behind her back- anyone could figure out that there was something going on between those two. "And Julian
usually only does that if there's something in it
for him." Rebecca thought, deciding to go over to
Tabitha's as soon as possible. There had to be a reason why Julian would defend Tabitha, and she was
determined to find out what it was.

That evening, T.C. had to run into work at the last
minute for a few hours, so Eve was fixing dinner.

"Are you sure you don't need any help with that, Dr.
Russell?" Chad asked.

"Yeah, you look really tired, mom," Whitney said.

"I've got dinner under control, but thanks for offering-" Eve said, a sudden look of panic on her
face.

"Where did all of that water come from?" Chad asked.

"Oh no- the baby-" Eve said.

"What- is something wrong?" Whitney asked.

"The baby's coming!" Eve exclaimed. Chad tried to
call an ambulance, but the phone wasn't working
since a line was down.

"Chad- the phones still aren't working?" Whitney
asked. "I figured they would have gotten that
fixed by now."

"Of all the times for the phone not to be working-
I have to call T.C.-" Eve exclaimed.

"Dr. Russell, it looks like Whitney and I are going
to have to take you to the hospital," Chad said.

"I wasn't even due for a few more days-" Eve said. Of
all the times for the phone lines not to be working,
when her baby decided to be born a few days early.

A few hours later, while Julian had heard that Eve
had gone into labor and rushed to the hospital,
Rebecca sneaked off and went over to Tabitha's.

"I have to find out what is going on-" Rebecca said.
Reese was lurking outside, he had gotten back from
college and was coming home for a visit. After being
at college for so long where things were actually
what could be considered normal, he was positive that
something was going on at Tabitha's.

"What is Rebecca doing here?" Reese asked, spying
from the bushes. "And is that Julian's kid Rebecca
is pregnant with?" Reese asked, weirded out by the
idea of Rebecca and Julian being parents. "That poor
child!" Reese said. Rebecca knocked on Tabitha's door.
Tabitha answered.

"What is going on?" Rebecca asked.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Tabitha asked.

"That noise- at the mall- it was not normal!" Rebecca
said.

"What noise?" Tabitha asked.

"Don't play dumb, everyone in the whole mall heard
you!" Rebecca couldn't believe Tabitha was acting
like she didn't hear that noise coming from herself.

"What kind of noise are you talking about?" Tabitha
asked.

"That growl!" Rebecca said.

"Oh my God is Tabitha pregnant!?" Reese exclaimed.

Tabitha and Rebecca turned around to see Reese.

"Ross, yes I am, not that it's any of your business.
Now why don't you go back to whatever you came
from?" Tabitha asked.

"There is no way you could possibly be pregnant-
unless you're a witch!" Reese said.

"You know, Ross, I was thinking the exact same thing-
you should have heard that noise she made at the
mall- it sounded like a wild animal or something!"
Rebecca said.

"Finally, someone believes me!" Reese said.

"I thought I convinced you I wasn't a witch," Tabitha
said.

"After I was out of Harmony for a while where things
were well, normal, I realized that you have to be
a witch!" Reese exclaimed.

"I know how we can prove Tabitha is a witch!" Rebecca
said.

"You do?" Reese asked.

"Yeah, she's gotta have a spell book or something,
how else would weird stuff happen when she is
always around?" Rebecca asked.

"This IS Harmony!" Tabitha said.

"Oh, save it!" Rebecca and Reese said, pushing
past Tabitha.

"Hey I found something!" Reese said.

"Oh no, he's found my magic bowl!" Tabitha said.

"All who's gaze fall upon these words beware-"
Rebecca said. Tabitha wasn't even going to bother
telling her about the bowl.

Rebecca gasped.

"Oh no- the baby- it's coming-" Rebecca said.

"Are you sure?" Reese exclaimed.

"Oh no- I can't be going into labor- not here!"
Rebecca said.

"You're not the only one," Tabitha said in dread.

"Oh no what do I do what do I do?" Reese exclaimed.
Rebecca threw her cellphone to Reese.

"Pookey is first on speed dial!" Rebecca exclaimed.

Reese dialed Julian's cell phone number.

At the hospital, Julian had been worrying like
crazy about Eve, it was almost driving him crazy
that he couldn't be in there with her. His
cellphone rang.

"Mr. Crane, there is a rule about cellphones in
the hospital-" A nurse said.

"Yeah, I know-" Julian said, but he took the
call anyways.

"Mr. Crane-" The nurse said.

"Oh my God, I'll be there right away." Julian said.
Julian rushed out of the hospital. Within minutes,
he had arrived at Tabitha's house, wondering how it
was possible that Rebecca, Tabitha and Eve had all
three gone into labor at once.

When Julian arrived, he was stunned to see that
Tabitha's baby had already been born!

"How can she have had her baby that fast-" Rebecca
exclaimed.

"I'll call an ambulance-" Julian said.

"I already tried, there was some strange noise
coming from the phone-" Reese said.

"What strange noise?" Julian asked.

"It sounded like Tabitha's stomach only there were
weird voices-" Rebecca said. Rebecca screamed when
she saw a red light coming from the basement.

"That's only my-" Tabitha exclaimed.

"Don't say it's your plants!" Everyone exclaimed.

"I don't know-" Julian said, hoping this wasn't a
worse case scenario.

"I don't have to have my baby here do I?" Rebecca
exclaimed. Julian tried to help Rebecca out to the
car while they still had time, but when he touched
the door knob, it was as hot as if it was on
fire.

"Oh no-" Rebecca said. Julian started giving Reese
orders. Reese screamed as the basement door opened...
