Julian thought that after he’d take Su to the hospital to get her check-up, that he’d visit with Eve, since of course, she’d be at Tc’s side, but he soon found out that neither Tc, nor Eve had been in the hospital for a week.

“You see, Mr. Crane, Mr. Russell woke from his coma, and felt he could be released, so he and Dr. Russell left Harmony and took a vacation together. I heard that they were talking something about getting married…” the nurse told Julian, and then turned her back to him to write something down in her chart, “…unless that’s just the gossip that’s going around,” she laughed, “Anyways, I have to check on Mrs. Waters, Mr. Crane,” she patted him on his arm and left.

“Re-married?” Julian said aloud to himself, “No, Eve…” he whispered, “What have I done?” he shook his head, “I thought, I thought that if she’d see me with another woman…then, then…” he looked down at the tiled floor, “…no, I guess not. Well, Eve,” Julian stared at her closed office door, “I truly hope you and Tc find happiness together once again, and rebuild your marriage and family,” he smiled a friendly smile and then sighed and went on his way to find his wife, Su-yun.

“Tc, you can’t keep me tied up like this forever!” she shouted.

“I know that, Eve,” he attempted to kiss her cheek but she shrunk away from him, so he grabbed her face and held it in place as he kissed her cheek.

Eve winced as she felt his goatee scratch her skin.

“What has gotten into you, Tc?” she cried, “You never used to be this way!”

“I’ve always been this way, Eve!” he declared, “It’s YOU who has changed! I’ve always loved you, but you’re the one who doesn’t seem able to just let go of that damn Crane! And now…now you are so blind to see what you have before you…me,” he lifted his brows, “Me, Eve. I love you, Eve!”

Eve was totally shocked. She did not know what to tell Tc about his sudden declaration of love. She hadn’t even known what had gotten into him for him to be acting this way; so violently. How was she going to escape? When was Tc going to come to his senses?

“Okay, Tc,” she said calmly, “Why don’t you just untie me, and we can talk about this calmly and rationally, okay?” she insisted.

“Okay, sure,” he laughed, “Eve, why don’t you take a nap,” he suggested and then stabbed her with a needle in her neck and injected her with a sedative he stole from one of the nurses.

Eve’s focus soon blurred and then her head just drooped forward as she fell unconscious.

An hour and a half later, Eve woke up to the sound of furniture being thrown around and things shattering. Worried that Tc had totally lost it, Eve called out to him…

“Tc? Tc? Is everything alright?”

“E—eve!” a man coughed.

Eve’s eyes lit up. She recognized that voice!

“Julian?! Julian, is that you?!” she asked excitedly.

“Yes, darling, yes, it is I…”

“Ohh, thank God, Julian!” she laughed joyfully, “Thank God, you came for me…”

Julian then came into view and ran to her and began untying the rope that held her captive.

“Ohh, Julian, I love you, I love you, I love you…I was so scared…I was so…” Eve stopped talking as she looked into the painful eyes that stared back at her, “Julian? Julian?!” she yipped as he fell forward onto her lap.

Eve screamed when she saw the huge gunshot wound to the back of his neck. She screamed when she saw all the blood, but she screamed the most when she saw Julian’s lifeless body lying upon her…

Eve then jumped up and now found herself strapped to a bed in the same room she had been in earlier. Tc was sitting beside her, watching her the whole time. Eve had been beautiful, and that was what had made Tc crazy about her. He had never got bored watching her…

Julian?! Where was Julian?! No, it was just a dream! Oh, thank God! Oh, Julian…I need you… she said and then looked up.

Julian arrived at Chad and Whitney’s to visit with them and his grandson. He also wanted to question Whitney on the whereabouts of her parents.

Julian pulled into the driveway, parked his Porsche, and got out. He was still into the song he’d been listening to, so he continued to hum the tune in his head.

“If you aint no punk holla ‘We want prenup’…‘WE WANT PRENUP!’” Julian sang as he rang the doorbell.

Just then Chad opened the door and caught Julian’s little solo. He laughed as he let his father in.

“Kanye, hey?” Chad nodded.

“Is that his name? Anyway,” Julian waved his hand, “How are you and Whitney, and my grandson, Miles doing?” he smiled.

Julian visited with his son, daughter-in-law, and grandson that evening, and soon found out from Whitney, that she too, had no clue where her mother or father were. He found that strange. Strange that the nurse at the hospital seemed to know something, but none of the other nurses he questioned heard anything, and now even Whitney didn’t know anything? That just didn’t make any sense. He was going to go home and phone a few of his men and have them search for Eve and the now awakened Tc Russell.
