Wait For Me; Chapter 6 (Evian)
by ejcrane

Two weeks passed, and Julian was now out of the hospital and walking with a cane.

Eve was still with her family, but her heart was still with Julian. She wanted so much to be by his side, but he wouldn’t let her, until…

“Come in,” Eve said over her shoulder as her back was facing the door.

Julian walked in and as he stood behind Eve he tossed his cane to the side. Eve jumped and turned when she heard the loud thud.

“Juli…” she was quieted by his warm lips as he pulled her into his arms and kissed her soundly.

Her arms went to his chest and then wrapped around his neck. She slanted her face so she could seek his tongue and relish in the pleasure he was giving her.

Now that Simone was back in Harmony, and now that she had amnesia; she and Whitney had become close again. And now that Eve was trying again with her family, Whitney had come around and was actually being kind to her mother. Simone too, was coming around and began calling the unfamiliar people around her “mom” and “dad”. Eve and Tc were happy with the progress they were making with their youngest daughter.

And now Simone and Whitney were going to pick up their mother for a surprise dinner with just the girls.

Whitney was just about to open the door when Simone stopped her.

“Wait, shouldn’t we knock first?”

“Knock? No,” Whitney shook her head, “Mom never has patients in there; she’s most likely doing paper work or research on the computer…come on,” she nodded her head as she opened the door and walked in, with Simone right behind her.

Eve and Julian were completely naked and in each other’s arms. Julian was sitting on the edge of the couch in Eve’s office as she was sitting in his lap with her legs wrapped tightly around him. He was pumping Eve with hard thrusts as he had one arm wrapped around her while the other rested on the couch itself. The feel of his skin sticking to the vinyl cushion was really irritating him, but nothing, absolutely nothing was going to stop him from making love to Eve. Eve grabbed his hair and pulled his face closer to hers. He felt her lips upon his forehead and smiled. She saw his lovely smile and smiled back at him and then leaned forward and kissed him fervently. Julian leaned back into the cushion and brought Eve with him.

“Eve, Eve…oh my…Eve,” Julian cried out.

“I love you, baby; I love you, Julian…”

And as she began riding Julian, they heard someone behind them.

“I knew it!” Whitney said as she glared at the back of her mother’s naked body.

“Mom’s cheating on dad?” Simone asked confused.

“Girls…” Eve screamed over her shoulder.

She couldn’t get up; their clothes were on top of the desk and if she’d stand up, her girls would see Julian naked, and Eve didn’t want that…she didn’t want any woman seeing him without any clothes on.

“Mom has always been cheating on daddy,” she grabbed her sister’s hand, “Come on, Simone, let’s get out of here,” she rolled her eyes and pulled Simone out of the office.

Eve began lifting herself off of Julian, when he stopped her.

“Where are you going?”

“Julian, I have to go talk to them.”

“Later,” he pulled her to him.

“No, Julian…now,” she stood up and began walking to her desk.

Julian stood up and followed her when he turned her around to face him.

“What?” she searched his eyes.

“I just want to kiss you goodbye,” he leaned forward, “Until next time,” he smiled as he pulled her to him.

Eve got dressed and went in search of her daughters, but what she forgot to do was take off the engagement ring Julian slipped on her finger for the second time. Right before they made love in her office, Julian got down on one knee and pleaded for Eve to wear his ring. He wanted to know how it felt to make love to his fiancée; to his wife.

“Eve, you’ve always been my wife, not by the church, but in my heart…always…”

Eve delighted in the sound of being Julian’s wife…Mrs. Julian Crane, and then she found herself in his arms.
---

Eve got home and found Simone in her room, and apologized to her. Simone too, had questions for Eve, and Eve told Simone everything that she wanted to know. She now knew that it wasn’t right to keep secrets, and how they always had a way of coming out.

Eve made her way down stairs and found Tc in the kitchen.

“I thought the girls were taking you out for dinner?”

“Yes, but I was, uh, busy at the hospital,” she raised her hand to her hair and combed her fingers through it.

Tc saw something sparkly in the corner of his eye and turned in time to see the big diamond ring Eve had on her left hand. It was the one Julian had given her months ago. What was it doing on her finger now?! Tc had given it back to Julian when Eve decided to be with him. He practically…literally threw it in his face.

Tc wasn’t going to say anything about it. He would just slip something in Eve’s drink later on, and then while she was asleep, he would slide the ring right off, and go and hock it the next day.

“Since you were busy at the hospital, why don’t you go and kick back on the couch and I’ll bring in some tea for the both of us?” he smiled, while on the inside he was laughing.

“Really?” she stared back at him, surprised.

“Yes, of course, now go,” he laughed as he shooed her out of the kitchen.

“Okay, thanks, honey,” Eve smiled and walked into the living room and relaxed on the couch.

She sighed as her eyes closed.

Julian…

Just then Tc came in and handed her a cup of tea, when the doorbell rang.

“Oh, I’ll get it,” she set the cup down and answered the door.

DAMN! Tc thought.

It was Whitney and Chad with Miles. Whitney had spilled everything to Chad about Miles really being his after the disaster hit. And not only did that secret come out, but also that Chad wasn’t really Eve and Julian’s son, but really Liz and Alistair’s. Eve and Tc, and also Julian weren’t too keen when Chad and Whitney decided to stay together after practically thinking they were siblings for a while, but they were adults, and no one could stop them from doing what they wanted. But now nothing could stop them from being together since they also found out that Liz wasn’t really Liz, so both, Chad and Whitney weren’t related in any way.

Liz was really Amanda O’Neal, a woman who had hated Liz Sanbourne and anyone connected to her. She pretended to be Liz’s best friend, until the time was right, and that was when she murdered Liz and took over her life. In connection with Alistair Crane, one of the most powerful men in the world, Amanda changed her appearance with plastic surgery and searched for Liz’s long lost half-sister, Eve, to make her life a living hell! Amanda wrecked Eve’s marriage and stole her husband, turned her daughters against her, and had even tried to seduce Eve’s fiancé, but Julian was too smart for her. Liz or Amanda had everything running smoothly until she screwed up. Eve had overheard her and Alistair in a deep conversation and that’s when Eve found out the truth. She escaped before they detected that she was eavesdropping.

Eve had known that that wasn’t her sister. She wasn’t anything like her little sister Liz. And Eve knew that Liz’s father would’ve never done what Amanda was claiming. Eve then told everything to Tc, but before they could catch Amanda, she had found out that her secret was out and fled Harmony.

Eve and Julian were also disappointed in learning that their child wasn’t Chad, but that their child really had died when Eve gave birth to him.

And it was funny; Julian wasn’t Miles’ grandfather, but his uncle. Chad and Julian were half-brothers, but Julian confided in Chad that he’d still think of him as his son, because no one would be lucky to have Alistair as a father. Chad was grateful to Julian and still called him and Eve “Father” and “Mom”.

“Chad! Whitney!” Eve smiled, also acknowledging Whitney’s cold look, “And Miles! What are you all doing here?”

“Hi, Mom…Coach,” Chad said, “We just thought we’d visit,” he smiled and nudged for Whitney to step inside.

Whitney finally walked in and greeted her father.

“Hey, honey…and how’s my grandson?” he pulled Miles from Whitney’s arms carried him.

Eve hugged Chad and walked over to Tc to play with Miles.

“He has Julian’s eyes,” Eve smiled as she said that out loud, not thinking, “What I meant to say…” she caught herself.

“What you meant to say was that he has my father’s eyes,” Chad said, disgusted when he referred to Alistair as his father.

“Sorry, Chad, I didn’t mean to bring that up…” Eve apologized.

“But it’s the truth, isn’t it?” he shrugged.

“Why don’t we have some tea?” Eve said cheerfully, and then handed the cup to Whitney, “I’ll go make some more,” she rushed out of the living room and into the kitchen.

Tc’s mind was now searching for a way to get that cup away from Whitney without looking suspicious.

“Whit, wait, let me take that,” he grabbed the cup from her and handed her Miles, “I’ll go make you another cup.”

“What? Why? What’s wrong with that one, daddy?” she raised a brow.

“Nothing, nothing, just that I had slipped something in there to make me sleep better at night,” he laughed, “That’s all.” He smiled and headed for the kitchen.

Both Chad and Whitney gave each other strange looks.

Later that night Eve finally realized she had her engagement ring on and wondered if Tc or the girls had noticed it too. She hoped not. So, she slipped it off and kept it in a safe place and went to bed.
