The sun beamed down on Luis’s face as he stepped out of the police station. Looking down at his watch he saw it was 7:45 in the morning and let out an exhausted sigh. He had only slept for one hour last night. He got home really late, and then Beth wanted to look at home owners things and stuff like that, and then his new step mother went on a tamper about not being able to change her sheets, then she wanted to conversation for a little while, which turned into a long while, so he was completely drained.

He began down the road headed to the small donut hut that was built a few months ago. Most of the officers rejoiced at the thought of having a pastry and coffee shop just a few seconds away, but he rarely went. The last thing he wanted was to have to work off some extra weight on work out days.

Almost before he knew it, he had reached the shop and was opening the door, as he did he was surprised to find Eve Russell sitting at a small booth with a woman who he had never seen before. Smiling politely he walked over to both of them. “Well good morning ladies.” He said cheerfully.

Eve looked up at smiled at Luis. “Good morning Luis.” She echoed, she then frowned some. “Luis, are you okay. I mean, no offense, but your looking a little worn.”

Luis nodded his head as a small sigh escaped his lips. “Well, I guess you could say that.” He stated. “Didn’t sleep much. I left the station around three working late on work I missed while I was out with the wedding, and every thing going on with Antonio.” He informed. “By the way, how is he?” He asked hoping there would be a change.

Eve brightened up some. “Actually I am glad your here because I wanted you to meet some one about that,” She stated. “Luis, this is Dr. Alexandra Carver, she is from Salem, and I was able to get in touch with her through a few other doctors and by some miracle, she was sent to us because not only has she been looking to move to Harmony indefinitely, but she has been working for sometime  for a cure for the exact disease Antonio has, and she has not exactly found a cure, but she has found a treatment that I can administer to him and slowly but surely, if she and I continue to work together, we might find a cure for what it is Antonio has.”

For the first time all morning, an actual smile of sincerity spread across Luis’s face as he looked down at the two women. “So, what are you saying that Antonio may be cured?” He asked.

Eve nodded her head. “That is what we're hoping.” She stated smiling up at him.

“Oh my God,” Luis said with a relieved breath, and then he turned to Dr. Carver. “Well first of all I can not tell you what a pleasure it has been Mrs......” He sighed some. “I’m sorry I forgot.”

“Oh please, do not even bother with the last name.” The other woman stated. “I am getting rid of it any way, and also every one calls me Lexie, short for Alexandra.” She stated.

Luis nodded his head as he took her extended hand. “Well okay Lexie.” He stated. “Oh thank you so much. I just know that my mother is going to be ecstatic to hear the news.” He then looked to Eve. “Eve have you told her yet?” He asked.

Eve shook her head no. “Actually, I was about to escort Dr. Carver......I mean Lexie, over to the Crane estate as we speak.” She stated.

Lexie suddenly looked to Eve curiously. “The Cranes?” She questioned. She then looked to Luis. “Your a Crane?” She asked.

Luis shook his head as his smile dropped some. “No, my mother is the family housekeeper.” He stated. “But my sister, is Mrs. Julian Crane, and she lives at the mansion, so she most likely will be there to.”

Eve looked to Lexie, her own curiosity peaked. “So Lexie, you know the Cranes?” She asked.

Lexie shrugged. “Not well.” She stated. “But my father did a lot of business with them.” She informed.

“Well he must be a really important man to do business with the Crane family.” Luis stated. “Who exactly was your father.”

Lexie smiled sadly and lowered her eyes some. “Well, he’s dead.” She informed. “He just died recently in fact. Another one of the many reasons I am leaving Salem.”

Luis now lowered his eyes some. “God do I feel like a fool now,” He stated. “Listen, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you relive bad memories are any thing.”

Lexie shook her head. “No, it’s alright.” She stated. “My father was Stefano DiMera.” She informed. “Have you heard of him.”

Luis shook his head no, but Eve on the other hand nodded her head. “You know I did hear about your father.” She stated. “From Salem, and your brothers name is Tony, right?” She asked.

Lexie nodded her head. “Yes, it is how did you know?” She asked.

“Well, when you said your last name was DiMera it kind of rang a bell,” Eve informed. “Then I remember reading one day on the Internet a big deal, about an important man’s death. It said that your brother, Anthony DiMera, had delivered the news to you at a party for friends of yours, there was a big column about it too.”

Lexie nodded her head. “Yes, those are all true facts.” She stated, she then sighed some. “But, like I said I was leaving Salem to forget my past, and besides I am hear to help you so....maybe we should get going to your mother and sister.” She suggested.

Luis nodded his head some. “Once again, I am sorry to bring up such bad memories.” He stated.

“Please, just forget it.” Lexie stated as she and Eve stood.

“Listen, I am on break already so, I can drive you both there.” Luis stated.

“Thank you Luis.” Eve stated as she grabbed her purse, and then they all walked out of the coffee shop headed to the mansion.

Gwen stepped out of her bedroom just in time to see Pilar make it up the stairs. She nodded her head some as the woman walked u to her. “Good morning Pilar.” She said politely.

Smiling, Pilar looked to Gwen. “Good morning to you too Gwen,” She echoed. “How are you feeling this morning?” She asked.

Gwen smiled some. “As well as can be expected.” She answered. “I think I got my first hit of morning sickness this morning though.” She stated.

Pilar looked down at her stomach and smiled. “Your're beginning to show.” She stated. “Ethan, he must be so happy.

Gwen nodded her head. “Yes he is.” She answered. “We spend all our time together talking about the baby, and what our lives together will be like. It all feels so right. In fact, today we are meeting with an apartment owner about a nice apartment lined up about an hour or so away from the mansion.”

Pilar smiled at her. “Oh that is wonderful,” She stated. “You two will finally be getting out on your own, I know that you are excited.”

Before Gwen could say any thing else, her door opened and Ethan stepped out, once again wearing a professional suit as always out looking for work. “Oh, good morning Pilar,” He stated. “How are you feeling?”

Pilar nodded her head. “As well as can be expected with everything that’s going on.” She stated. “And you?”

“Fine.” Ethan answered. “Are you headed to see Theresa?” He asked.

Pilar nodded her head and was about to respond, when suddenly a scream rang across the mansion causing them to jump. “Dios Mio what was that?” Pilar asked clutching her chest.

Gwen paled some. “That sounded like mother.” She stated touching Ethan’s arm.

“But it was coming from down the hall.” Ethan stated, then his eyes grew wide in shock. “Oh my God.” He stated. “That’s Theresa’s room!” And then he darted off Pilar right behind him.

Gwen sighed some uncomfortably at the way Ethan quickly came on alarm at the mention of Theresa. Shaking the feeling off she hurried off to catch up with them worried about her mother.

Savannah and Julian caught up with each other in the hall, both of them still in their sleeping garments. “Savannah what the hell is going on?” Julian asked. “Who the hell is screaming, and what the hell for?” He asked unhappily.

Savannah shrugged. “I don’t know but it came from the other hall.” She said rushing off. Julian rolled his eyes and trailed along right be hind her.

Some how or another it seemed that every one reached the same bedroom at the same time. “Look, it’s like I said, it’s Theresa’s room.” Ethan stated.

“Oh, I wonder what could be wrong with my daughter?” Pilar asked as Ethan opened the door.

One by one everyone rushed in the room, but almost at the same time came to a complete stop at the sight they saw before them. Savannah, with a disgusted face was the first to speak. “Oh my God!” She stated with a horrific look on her face. “What the hell is going on here.”

Theresa rolled her eyes once again, and sighed some in anger, and embarrassment as she looked away from the shocked, disapproving, and hateful glares being sent her way. Pilar then managed to step forward but was shaking with obvious anger. “Theresaita!” She screamed at her. “What do you think you are doing!?”

Rebecca, who was also in the room, and was also the woman who had screamed looked back at Pilar. “Well it’s obvious what she’s doing!” Rebecca screamed. “She’s being that two timing slut that she is!”

Fox, who was in bed right next to Theresa, the same blanket over both of them glared at Rebecca. “Back off Beck.” He stated. “What ever is going on here is none of your damn business. And if you would have remembered your manners and knocked first no one would be her right now, now would they?”

“Fox.” Ethan said through clenched teeth. “You son of a bitch! I’m gonna rip you apart!” He yelled.

“No Ethan don’t!” Gwen screamed grabbing her husbands arms.

“Let go of me Gwen!” Ethan yelled.

Theresa nervously jumped out of her bed and ran to Ethan. “Ethan, please calm down, it is not what you think.” She stated.

Ethan looked down at Theresa scoffing. “Oh then what the hell is it Theresa?!” He asked angrily. “Because it looks like you and Fox were......” He cringed in disgust. “God I can’t even bring myself to think it.”

Theresa was now shaking just as her mother was, but with obvious fear. “Ethan please, just calm down.” She begged. “Like I said, it’s not what you think. Fox and I......we.....,”Theresa lowered her head, and forced herself not to look at Fox. “We did not sleep together.” She stated. “We only fell asleep together.”

Rebecca rolled her eyes. “Oh please, Theresa.” She sated. “You are a better liar than that. You know Ivy was right when she called you the Family Whore. Such a fitting title.”

Pilar glared angrily at the other woman. “You will not speak to my daughter that way!” She stated. “There is only one whore among us Rebecca Hotchkiss!”

Rebecca gasped in shock. “Oh, how dare you insult me, you junkyard dog!”

“Rebecca that’s enough!” Ethan snapped angrily. “Do not speak to Pilar that way.”

Gwen folded her arms over her chest angrily and walked over to Rebecca. “Excuse me Ethan, but I will not have you taking that tone with my mother.”

Ethan sighed heavily trying to keep his temper in check. “Look Gwen I am not getting into this with you right now. I want more of an explanation from Theresa.”

“Dammit Ethan, this is Theresa’s house, what she wants to do with it is none of my business and it is certainly none of yours!.”

“Gwen, we can talk about this later alright.” Ethan said facing her. “Right now I want to talk to Theresa.”

Gwen shook her head angrily as she looked at Ethan. “Well fine Ethan you just talk to Theresa alright!” She snapped angrily. “And then when you remember you have a faithful, devoted, and PREGNANT wife, you know where to find me!” With that said, she walked out f the bedroom, more like stormed out, with out another word.

Ethan wanted to go and try and talk to her, but right now, he new he had bigger fish to fry. “Alright so Theresa what do you mean you and Fox didn’t sleep together?” She asked.

Theresa sighed some trying to calm her nerves. “It’s just like I said Ethan we never had sex. Never.” She stated.

Fox took this time while still under the blanket to use his legs to slip his boxers all the way up his legs and then covering his other private parts in case he had to step out of bed. “Theresa is right Ethan,” Fox spoke up. “This is not what it looks like.”

“You stay the hell out of this!” Ethan warned. “I am talking to Theresa.”

Fox smirked. “If I were you I would worry less about my stepmommy and more about the trouble you just caused in paradise with wifey pooh.”

Ethan bawled his fist together trying to clench his anger, and then looked to Theresa. “So, if you didn’t sleep together what happened?” He asked. “Why are you both in here under the same blanket, and you wearing just this robe.”

“Okay Ethan look,” Theresa began. “Last night Fox saw that I was really upset....and I was.” She said looking him in the eye which made his expression soften only for just a little while.

“Go on.” Ethan stated.

She nodded her head. “So, we came back here before all of you did,” Theresa stated. “And I was still very upset after I had come to my room and change, and later on Fox came in to check on me and he graciously used his shoulder to let me cry on and I did. In fact, I was so exhausted I had nearly cried myself to sleep so Fox asked if he should leave, and I told him, no that I wanted him to stay because I did not want to be alone that night, and so he slipped into bed and held me while I drifted off, and....he must have accidentally fallen asleep too.”

Fox smirked from where he lay in the bed. ‘Boy I have to hand it to her.’ He thought. ‘ have never seen some one come up with a lie on the spot like that.’

Savannah then stepped forward her hands across her chest, the suspicion written all over her face as she went to the bed and kneeled besides her brother. “Now I know little Ms. Tacky here is a lair, so I am going to ask you to be honest with me. Please tell me you are wearing some thing under there.”

Fox smiled some and pushed the blanket down long enough for his sister to se he was fully covered. “Happy?” He asked.

Savannah raised a suspicious eye brow and was about to say she believed him, but her eyes accidentally fell down and she gasped. Letting her hands fall to the ground she picked up what was a wrapper for a condom. “Fox!” She hissed in a low whisper. “Are you kidding me.”

Fox rolled his eyes “Damn it.” He stated. “There is always some thing.”

Savannah looked at the wrapper in disgust and then back at him. “Fox, we are talking about your stepmother here.” She stated. “I mean, couldn’t you at least have waited until....I don’t know.....it’s just wrong!”

“Okay, fine so I made a mistake just, please don’t show Ethan.” Fox begged. “I mean, if not for my sake, for Theresa’s. If Ethan found out about us like this it would devastate her.”

Savannah rolled her eyes. “Oh yea like you care.” She stated.

Fox sighed some. “Please Vannah?” He begged. He then put on his best puppy dog face “Please.” He pleaded.

Savannah sighed unhappily then stuck the wrapper in her gone pocket and stood up. “Well, look I am sure that Theresa’s and Fox’s little night was completely innocent so I say we get out of here.” She stated.

“Not so fast Savannah.” Ethan stated. “I think I should have a talk with Fox.”

Pilar nodded her head. “Si and I with Theresa.” She stated.

Savannah rolled her eyes. “Fine, but lest at least give them a chance to get dressed first.” She stated walking to the middle of the room and taking Ethan’s arm. “Come on Ethan.” She stated. “I think right now your main concern should be settling things over with Gwen.”

As they were leaving Pilar gave Theresa and Fox both warning glares, then made her way out. Then there was Rebecca who was left stayed eyeing Theresa suspiciously until Savannah came back in, grabbed her by the arm, and dragged her out.

When they were all gone, Theresa let out a strong sigh of relief and sank to the bed. Fox jumped out the bed smiling. “Ha, that was brilliant Theresa.” He stated going around and kneeling in front of her. “I have never seen some one lie so coolly in my life.”

Theresa smirked. “Well I could not let Ethan find out about us like this.” She stated. “And besides, if I didn’t lie I am sure your sister would have been all over with me about that tape.”

Fox smirked. “I doubt that .” He stated. “You see Savannah knows that we actually had sex. She found the condom wrapper.”

Theresa’s whole face fell in the shape of an O. “Oh God.” She stated standing. “Oh know were finished.”

“Theresa calm down,” Fox laughed some standing with her. “She was cool about it. I asked her not to say any thing, and she could have exposed us right here and we would be in the middle of world war three right now. But like I said, she was cool. She didn’t want to get me in trouble, and part of me almost believes that she did not want to hurt you either.”

Theresa smirked. “Yea, well I won’t hold my breath.” She stated as she let him pull her closer to him, and give her a kiss directly on the lips. “Listen, before this goes to far I think we need to get dressed for work.”

Fox frowned some. “Can’t we just cancel today and maybe rent a hotel room?” He asked delivering kiss towards her neck.

Theresa moaned softly, but quickly pushed him back. “No, stop before we get in trouble.” She stated. “Just go....sneak back to your room, and I’ll meet you down stairs, and back here tonight. Same time?”

Fox smirked, but nodded his head surrendering. “Same place.” He stated giving her one more quick kiss on the lips, then going back to the bed and grabbing his clothes, ad leaving her bed room.

Theresa sighed with a smile as he left. She then sat back down on her bed. “God,” She said looking upwards some. “I know that I have never been the type of person to do the sort of thing I did last night. I know that in your eyes what I did was wrong and.....in some ways disrespectful to every thing I have ever believed in.” Her eyes started to water over some. “But, I am asking for forgiveness for that. As well as using Fox. I know I told him I was getting over Ethan but....the truth is I...I.” She sighed heavily. “I don’t know what I feel any more. I knew that I was developing feelings for Fox but....I had no idea they were this strong. And what makes it even worse is that I know I can never fully commit to him as long as I am still harboring feelings for Ethan.” “I still love him so much and I am just....so confused. I know using Fox last night was wrong, but I was just, I was so tired of being alone, and it got to the point where I was scared of the loneness and the person I was becoming. I just wanted for one night to be held. To be made special, and Fox made me feel that way. The only problem now is I am not sure if my heart is telling me if it’s time to let go of old love and move on with knew one’s, or if it still beats for the only man’s love I have every wanted or known. Until now. Please help me God. Please.”

Theresa walked down the stairs a half an hour or so later dressed in a nice looking burgundy sweater and a pair of black ladies slacks with her hair twisted into a bun on the back of her head. Just as she entered the living room, she was able to see her mother and brother breaking from a hug, and Dr. Russell and another female woman whom she had never seen before.

“What’s going on?” Theresa asked as she stepped into the living room nervously. She then got a fearful feeling her stomach. “Oh no, is it Antonio, has he gotten worse?”

Pilar looked towards her daughter, and Theresa shocked to find actual happiness, real excitement in her mothers eyes. She had almost forgotten what that looked liked. “No, Mejia.” She said walking over to her daughter and taking her by the hands. “Theresaita, this is Dr .Lexie Carver,” She said pointing to the woman whom Theresa had never seen before. “And she may have come up with a cure for your brothers illness.”

Theresa’s eyes lit up with shock and over joy at the same time. “Oh My God, Mama that’s wonderful!” She exclaimed embracing her mother happily. After a few seconds they let go, and she looked to Luis. “Oh Luis, he’s going to be alright.” She said rushing into her brothers arms.

Luis kissed the top of her forehead happily. “I know isn’t in wonderful.” He stated.

Eve walked over to Lexie smiling. “I told you they would be happy.” She stated.

Theresa then turned and looked to the new woman who was introduced as Lexie. “Oh, Dr. Carver, I don’t know what it is you have found but you are like an answer to our prayers.”

Lexie smiled politely. “I am just so happy I could be of some help.” She stated. “Now, before I administer the drug to Antonio there are some things that I will need to go over with the family. Nothing major, just are you sure you want to go through with the procedure and about some side effects that Antonio may have if the drug works, and when his medication should be delivered to him.”

“Please, you can talk to us any time you like.” Pilar stated. “Just say the word and we can all meet at the hospital when ever that is best.”

Lexie nodded her head as Eve spoke again. “Now there is also the fact that Antonio will under go a surgery before all of this must get done, and it is nothing too major. That is also some thing that you can discuss with Dr. Carver.”

As Eve continued to explain, another person walked into the house, which brought even more excitement. “Sheridan!” Luis said her name as if he had seen some one he had not seen in forever. “Oh my God, Sheridan, we have wonderful news.” He said rushing over to her and taking her hands.

Sheridan looked around the room, and saw the faces of excitement on the Lopez Fitzgerald family as well as Eve’s and another woman whom she had not met before. “What is it?” She asked. “What’s going on.”

“Sheridan, this woman is a doctor. Her name is Lexie,” Luis said happily. “She is from Salem, but she is planning to move to Harmony, and she has been working on a treatment that could help the exact disease Antonio has, if not cure him."

Sheridan’s mouth fell open some, at first in shock. “So wait you mean Antonio could be better?” She asked the hope radiating from her voice. “He might actually be cured.”

Luis nodded his head. “There’s a good chance.” He stated. “We don’t know all the medical procedure, but Eve and Lexie were going to talk to us all as soon as we got the chance.”

Sheridan looked to Lexie with happiness filled in her eyes. “Oh thank you,” She said in relief in joy. “Thank you so much.”

“As I said whatever I can do to help.” Lexie stated. “I just hope every thing goes according to plan.” She then looked down at her watch. “Oh, look at the time.” She looked up at the others. “I’m sorry I have to go I am meeting some one about a home.” She looked to Eve then. “I guess I’ll see you at the hospital and we can work every thing out.”

Eve nodded her head with a smile. “Of course Lexie.” She stated.

Lexie nodded here head and then looked back to the others. “Well it was nice to meet you all and I hope to see you again soon, with good news. Good bye.”

“Good bye.” They all said waving towards her.

Pilar’s smile was still on her lips as she said a thankful prayer. “Oh this is the best news.” She stated. “Finally, my Antonio may be alright once again.”

Luis smiled as she took Sheridan’s hands making her look up at him. “This is wonderful in other ways too.” He stated. “For us. If this drug or whatever does sure Antonio completely we can finally tell him the truth with out having to worry about him dying.”

Sheridan stiffened some, but kept the smile on her face. “Well of course we’d have to wait until he made a full recovery.” She stated. “We would still not want to take any chances.”

Luis nodded his head some, his smile never leaving his face. “Oh Sheridan, it looks like things may finally be turning around for us.”

“One can only hope Luis,” Sheridan stated. “But as I said, one step at a time. I don’t want to rush this, it is a delicate matter.” Her smile grew even more. “But still, I am unbelievable happy, and who knows, for once, it may not even be short lived. We may actually enjoy our lives as one. Together.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ivy rolled from her bathroom after freshening up that morning and entered her master bedroom, as she did she paused when she saw Kay sitting comfortably on her bed looking through a photo album she had left on her desk.
“Excuse me?” Ivy asked rolling over towards Kay. “But don’t you have any manners?”
Kay looked up at Ivy and shrugged. “No, that, like a conscious is highly over rated to me. I prefer to do things my way.”
Ivy rolled her eyes as she reached for the book but Kay pulled it back. “Why you give me that back.” She demanded.
Kay frowned some. “Jesus Ivy, chill out . I am not going to burn it.” She stated. “I am just looking at your family history.”
Ivy made a nasty little face then sat back in her chair. “Fine then look at it and put it away.” She stated.
“Okay Ivy okay don’t get so jumpy.” Kay stated flipping through the pages. As she fell on one she stopped. It was of Ivy and Ethan , and she recognized the dress Ivy wore automatically. “This was at Ethan’s engagement party to Theresa wasn’t it?” She asked.
“Oh how quick you are.” Ivy said sarcastically. “Now please, turn the page I choose not to remember that eventful night.”
Kay smirked some and turned to the next page. It was of Pilar and Ivy. She looked up at Ivy. “I had no idea you and Miguel’s mom were so close.”
For the first time that morning, Ivy’s eyes showed some form of sincerity. “Yes, at one point before the madness of our lives unfolded Pilar and I were very close. I think that may be one of the biggest regrets I have about this whole Theresa thing.”
“Letting it turn you against her mother?” Kay asked.
Ivy sighed and nodded her head. “Unfortunately I can not make Pilar see her daughters faults any more than I would want to see any in myself or my children so we had to part ways.”: A sad smile befell her lips. “But still, we had some good times.”
Kay nodded her head some, and then turned the page. The next was a picture of Ivy, and Julian. Ivy sitting in a chair, holding a small baby in her hand and a younger Ethan standing besides Julian. “Whose the baby?” She asked.
Ivy smirked some. “The ambitious Fox.” She answered. “When he was innocent.”
Kay looked up at her again. “You know, I don’t know much about Fox.” She stated.
Ivy smiled some. “Lucky for you.” She stated. “That boy spends most of his time getting in trouble or being a burden to others.” She shook her head. “It’s ridiculous.”
Kay frowned some at Ivy. “You know you should not be so hard on your children,” She stated. “I doubt he had it easy growing up with you lavishing your attention all over Ethan.”
Ivy gasped some. “Well I did no such thing.” She stated. “I love all my children.”
Kay rolled her eyes. “I didn’t say you didn’t love him, I said you were unfair to him.” She stated.
“Oh please like you’d know. You weren’t even there.” Ivy snapped some.
“So,” Kay stated. “I didn’t need to be there to know bitterness when I see it, and that boy my dear Ivy, is bitter.”
“Please, Fox is not bitter.” Ivy stated. “He hardly pays me any mind. I am sure you have no idea what your talking about. I loved all my children equally, Ethan was just....special.”
Kay shook her head almost frowning in disgust. “You know you and my mom or like two peas in a pod.” She stated.
“Oh, now that is a lie!” Ivy stated acting as if she were truly insulted.
“No, it is not.” Kay stated. “Both of you single out certain children because you believe they are special for some reason. That is not the way a child should be raised, especially if they are your own flesh in blood.” She shook her head sadly. “No child should have to take the back seat to anyone.”
Ivy smirked some. “Well now who's bitter?” She asked.
Kay rolled her eyes and turned the page again. The next picture was of Savannah, and another woman. Obviously it was of Ivy’s daughters wedding because she was in a long white wedding dress and there were many guest behind them. “Well this much is self explanatory.” She stated. She then leaned in some and began starring hard at Savannah.
Ivy frowned some as Kay starred at her daughters picture,. “What on earth are you doing?” She asked.
Kay shook her head a little confused. “I can’t get it out of my head that I know her from some where.” She stated.
“Oh are you still on that kick?” Ivy asked some what annoyed. “Get over it dear, there is no possible way you could no Savannah. She was never in Harmony while you were a teenager and when she was here you were just a baby if even that, so you can not have known her.”
Kay sighed heavily. “Great.” She stated some what upset. “Now it’s going to bother me like all day.” Just as she was going to turn the page, the light hit the photo at a certain angle, and Kay gasped. “Oh My God,,” She stated.
Ivy looked at her confused. “What, what’s wrong?” She asked.
“I knew I knew this girl!” Kay said hitting the picture some happily. “I knew it!”
Ivy frowned some. “What in God’s name are you talking about?” She asked.
“Look!” Kay said pointing at a certain spot in the picture. It was in the every back, behind a plant, where there was a blonde headed man looking as if he was hiding.
Ivy frowned some once more. “Well he looks familiar.” She stated.
Kay rolled her eyes. “Well he should.” She stated. “That’s my Uncle Hank.”
“What?” Ivy questioned looking at Kay as if she had lost her mind. “Please.”
“No really look.” Kay said bringing the picture closer to Ivy so she could see.
Ivy was going to ignore it, but then as her eyes really came into focus on the little man in the picture, she gasped some. “Oh My God.” She said looking closer at the picture. “It......it really is him.”
“Well duh.” Kay stated. “Don’t you think I’d know my own uncle when I see him.”
Ivy simply dismissed her with a wave of the hand as she sat back in the chair. “Now what in the world would Hank Bennett be doing sneaking into my daughters wedding?” She asked out loud.
Kay’s eyes suddenly got extremely wide and she looked to Ivy as if she had been hit with a ton of bricks. “Oh my God, I know!” She stated.
“What?” Ivy asked. “You know why he was there.”
Kay shook her head. “Oh well yes, and no.” She answered. “I know where I have seen your daughter.” She stated. “I remember it was a while back about three or four years ago. She was in a picture.....kissing my uncle Hank!”
“What?!” Ivy screamed loudly at Kay from where she sat. “Kay, have you been drinking this early in the morning?!” She asked.
“I swear to God Ivy it’s true!” Kay stated. “And this also explain why my uncle is at her wedding. They were LOVERS!”
Ivy looked at Kay as if she has suddenly claimed a second head. “Okay, it’s official you are completely of your mind.” She stated. “I mean to even deduce some thing so......so.....ludicrous, please. Kay honey, I’m sorry there is no easy way to say this but.....you don’t have the good since God gave to a ruptured duck.”
Kay frowned insulted as she looked at Ivy. “I do so you homeless cripple!” She shot back.
“Please, there is no way some as elegant as my daughter would get involved with some one as.....as less....”
“Less what?!” Kay asked defensively. “Were you just going to insult my family?!” She asked demanding answer as she stood.
“Oh give me a break!” Ivy said looking up at her. “You don’t even like your family!”
“That isn’t the point!” Kay snapped.
“It is so the point!” Ivy yelled back at her.
“Is not!”
“Is so!”
“IS NOT!”
“IS SO!!!”
“Alright fine!” Kay screamed going behind Ivy’s wheel chair and pulling out he plugs. “You want to insult my family, well you just stay here until you can either learn to walk without help, or you, your wrinkles, and your bleach blonde hair curl up and die!”
“WHY YOU LITTLE BITCH!” Ivy screamed trying to reach for Kay by the arm. She missed, however, she reached so far that she accidentally went toppling out of her wheel chair on top of Kay.
“Ow!” Kay cried.
“Oh well this is just grand!” Ivy said sarcastically.
“Will you get your big but off me I’m pregnant for God's sake!” Kay cried.
“Well if you would not have unplugged my chair you little roach!” Ivy said struggling to roll off of Kay.
“Here let me help you!” Kay offered shoving Ivy hard off of her and onto the floor.
“Ow!” Ivy cried this time as she looked at Kay.
“Ahem.” The sound of a throat clearing caused them both to look up and see the object of their argument standing right before them.
Ivy sighed heavily as she struggled to climb into her chair. “Oh Savannah, thank God.” She stated finally sitting into the chair as Kay stood. “For a minute I was afraid I was going to have to stay here with this....girl all day.”
“Oh like I thought it would be a real treat?” Kay asked.
Savannah shook her head some. “Very tacky performance ladies.” She stated. “It’s a good thing I wasn't Sam Nother. I doubt he’d like you calling his daughter a roach.”
“I agree.” Kay stated.
“Not so fast Kay,” Savannah stated. “You pulling the wires out of my mothers chair was not such a Christian thing to do either.
Ivy frowned some. “Well, Savannah how long have you been here?” She asked.
Savannah smirked. “Oh I walked in some where on, IS NOT.... IS SO!” She mocked them laughing.
“It’s not funny.” Kay stated.
Savannah struggled to contain her laughter. “No, as I said it was a sad performance.” She stated. “So tell me, what were you two fighting about.”
“Because your mother was going to insult my family.” Kay stated. “No wonder Theresa gave her the old heave ho.”
Ivy rolled her eyes. “You don’t even no what I was going to say, and I only got upset because of your stupid assumption.”
Kay stomped her foot as a child would do. “It was not foolish!” She yelled back at Ivy.
“Wait, ladies wait.” Savannah stated walking over to them. “Now what assumption was it that Kay said the made you so upset mother.”
“Well Savannah,” Ivy stated. “She tried to say that you and her uncle, if you can imagine.....were lovers.” She said cringing.
Savannah laughed some as she looked towards Kay. “Well that is quite an assumption little girl, I didn’t even know you had an uncle.”
Kay nodded her head. “Oh but you do.” She said picking up Ivy’s photo album. “See, he’s right here in the back.”
Savannah frowned as she saw a blonde haired person, and then leaned closer in. When her eyes came into full view of the man in the pictured they widened shock. “Oh my God,” She mumbled.
“See,” Kay stated. “I knew they knew each other.”
Ivy rolled her eyes. “It’s preposterous.” She insisted, then looked to her daughter. “Savannah, tell her she is reading to much into this.”
However, the only answer Ivy got was her daughter falling lifelessly to the floor. Ivy looked down at Savannah for a minute then frowned. “Oh Savannah, I don’t believe it!” She said speaking to her daughters passed out, unmoving body
Kay only smiled triumphantly and then looked down at Ivy. “See,” She stated. “Told you so.” She then slammed the album shut.
