Theresa pounded on the door to the Lopez Fitz-Gerald house. "Mama! Open this door Mama! I know you're in there! I paid for this house with my money mam, it's more mone than yours now let me in!"

Kay sat up in her room, a crying Brandon on her lap. Theresa had being going at it for almost an hour. That woman never gave up. Kay found herself wishing something would fall on Theresa to shut her up. She had woken up the whole house and all the babies were crying. Kay almost wished that Pilar would give in and let Theresa into the house. But then again, she hoped Theresa would be left to fend for herself. Kay felt that Theresa had been coddled her whole life and being thrust out now would be great for her. It took nearly that much for Kay to see the error of her ways and now her relationship with her mother was great. Though she wished that Miguel would love her, everything that happened was her fault and she couldn't really blame him. She had lied to him for a long time and a relationship can't go on like that forever. Kay was glad her half brother had finally dumped Theresa for good and gone to Gwen. Even after Gwen told Ethan about how she had played a part in the tabloids finding out about him, he wasn't able to get too mad. He had actually thanked her for saving him from marrying Theresa and finding out Sam was his father. Kay sighed as she tried to quiet Brandon. Theresa's voice echoed through the house, grating on Kay's nerves. Wouldn't Theresa ever grow up?

Miguel sat in his room as well. He had placed headphones over his ears to block out Theresa's whining voice while he sent yet another e-mail to Charity.

"My dearest Charity. It has been over a year since I last saw you and my heart aches. I miss you so much. I have your pictures all over my room and I look at them daily so I will not forget your smiling beautiful face. I would give anything to hold you in my arms again. I never meant to hurt you. I wish you would talk to Kay and have her tell you what she told me about tricking me into bed with her. I should have known you would not act like that, my sweet angel. I wish I could reverse that night so we would be man and wife. Don't get me wrong, I love Brandon and would never want to be without him, but I do not love Kay.Please forgive me and write back. I love you so much. Yours forever, Miguel."

He knew it was sappy, but that's the way he loved it with Charity. He wanted her back and he wished she would answer his e-mails. He didn't expect much though. He would have been upset too if the situation had been reversed. Miguel layed back on his bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking of Charity, like he always did.

Luis and Sheridan had their hands full with two crying babies. Luis felt rage growing in him. How could Theresa be so selfish!? A housefull of babies and she was still yelling on the top of her lungs to be let in. Pilar had told Luis what she had said to Theresa when she left and Luis had agreed with her one hundred percent. His little sister had to learn to live in the real world one way or another. She was an adult now, and her family had spent her entire life protecting her. She needed to learn to live on her own. When Luis heard that the house was more hers than his mother's, he finally could take it no longer. He burst through the door meeting the eyes of his sister with coldness.
"It's about time!" she yelled. "I have been out here forever!"
Luis blocked her path through the door.
"I did not come out here to let you in Theresa. Mama told me what she said to you and I agree with her. It's time you figured out your priorities and stop living your whole life to get the Crane money and Ethan."
Theresa sneered at him." What would you know about it, Luis. You have never really been in love. You would have never married Beth if you had."
Luis grew angrier by the second. "So what excuse do you have for marrying Julian then?"
"I was drunk, it wasn't my fault."
"It was too your fault for going to Bermuda and drinking with a man you knew was letcherous and after only one thing from women."
"Would you shut up about that! Ethan would have protected me."
"No, I was the one that ended up protecting you, from yourself, over and over. And know what Theresa, I have had it! You are an adult now, with a child. You have lied and schemed your way through life and we are not going to save you from every mess you get yourself in any more!"
"If you loved me you would let me in!"
"It's because I love you that I'm not. If I do, you will have learned nothing from this situation. You will return to the whining, obsessed, little girl who neglects her family and friends to chase after a man who has gone on with his life without her."
"It's not obseesion, it's love! And fate wants me to be with him."
"Why is it only fate when it goes your way, Theresa? Ever thought maybe this is fate, that put Ethan and Gwen together?"
"That's not fate. It's because she got pregnant, the little slut!"
"Theresa, we could stand out here arguing all night, but you are not coming in and I'm not going to change your mind. You have to do all this on your own. I know you have money. you are still wearing all that expensive jewelry. Go stay in a motel tonight and come back in the morning when you are more level headed."
"A Crane does not stay in a motel!"
"You aren't a Crane anymore! At least not according to Alistair."
"Shut up and let me in Luis!"
"No way. You will learn that you cannot expect your family to bail you out of every mess you get in especially after you have ignored us and your own son to chase after Ethan."
"But Luis!" Theresa was crying now.
"No Theresa. I am trully sorry, but the time for you to grow up has come."
With that, Luis shut and locked the door. Pilar had been standing there and heard the whole exchange. She had tears streaming down her face.
"Are you sure we're doing the right thing, Luis?"
"Yes Mama. She needs to grow up and if we continue to coddle her, she never will."
Pilar nodded, tears still running from her eyes. She pulled Luis into hug. "What are we going to do with her, Luis?

Theresa stood, glaring at the door for another 20 minutes. When she realized that Luis was not coming back, she kicked the door, than turned and headed to Chad's apartment. She would get Ethan and that house in the end. Then her family would be sorry that they ever turned her away.

Gwen sat at the Crane dining room table. It had been creared from the fiasco of that evening. She had a cup of herbal tea to help calm her nerves. The exchange with Theresa had upset her greatly. Fox wandered down the stairs, a huge smile on his face. The smile quickly disappeared when he saw Gwen.
"What's the matter?" he asked her, pullling up a chair next to her.
"Oh, just Theresa. She came to our room after dinner and...just got me upset I guess." Gwen didn't feel like reliving the whole ordeal.
Fos looked at her with concern. He hadn't meant for Gwen to be hurt, he just wanted Theresa to be gone.
"Are you upset that she was kicked out?"
"No, Theresa will always have her family to take care of her."
"She won't bother you anymore, you know."
Gwen looked at Fox sadly."If only that were the case, Fox. She will never give up on Ethan. I guess I knew that when I married him, but it's turning out to be harder than I thought."
Fox watched her sadly. This strong, eager woman was admitting defeat to a selfish child. He had seen how determined Theresa was to get what she wanted, but he never realized how that would effect those around her. He sat with Gwen for a while longer, until she excused herself to return to bed. He gave her a quick hug than returned to his room. He needed to come up with another plan. A plan to help Gwen get rid of Theresa forever.
