Theresa glared down at Paloma as she clung to Lil Ethan.
"I know what you are trying to do. You are trying to take my place so you can have Ethan and the Crane money. I will never let that happen Paloma, never!"
Paloma stared wide eyed at her sister.
"You're crazy, Theresa. I don't want anyhting to do with Ethan or the Cranes. I just wanted to see me nephew."
"You cannot see him! You will take over, I know you will. You only came home so you could take my place. Are you schemeing with her?" She asked, glaring at Gwen.
"I had never met Gwen before today. Now Theresa, be reasonable."
Pilar rushed into the room.
"Paloma, Theresa..what's going on."
"She's trying to take over my life!" Theresa yelled.
"She's crazy!" Paloma yelled back.
"Paloma, don't call your sister names," Pilar said, trying to calm Theresa. Paloma's face grew red with rage.
"That's right, Mama. Stick up for poor little defenseless Theresa, like you always do. She's so innocent, we all have to take care of her. Well not me Mama. Theresa is crazy and she needs help, not you babying her all the time. I'm not the one at wrong here. She is the one that ran off to Bermuda. She is the one that got knocked up. She is the one that has succeeded in ruining everyones lives and you still stick up for her after she's basically come out and told you to screw off. I've had it!"
Just then Fox walked in.
"What's going on?"
"It's none of your business!" Theresa screamed in his face as Lil Ethan started to cry.
"Mama!" he yelled, reaching for Gwen.
Eveyone froze. They all looked at Theresa. Her face scrunched into all sorts of positions as tears began leaking from her eyes.
"You're all against me! Even my own son!" she screamed as she raced up the stairs with Pilar at her heels.
Gwen let out a deep sigh.
"Well, that was interesting," Fox siad as he looked around the room. Paloma looked at him, still trying to calm herself down.
"Why does everyone think that my sister is so innocent? Why is Mama always sticking up for her? Why are they all so afraid to admit that she has a problem?"
"I wish I knew the answer, angel face." Fox said as he touched Paloma's shoulder gently.
Gwen smiled slightly as he saw them looking at each other.
"Well, after all that I think I need a day out. You two lovely ladies care to join me?" Fox asked.
"You two go ahead. I'm going to stay here and wait for Ethan. I also want to make sure Lil Ethan is okay," Gwen said, a look of warning in her eyes at Fox, knowing that Paloma was too young for his normal activities.
Fox winked at her, calming her fears. He wouldn't try anything. Paloma and Fox walked out the door laughing together as Gwen leaned back on the couch. Would this madness ever end?
Theresa tried slamming the door behind her but Pilar blocked the way. She was worried abotu how tightly Theresa was holding Lil Ethan. He was squirming and crying, trying to get out of her arms and Theresa was paying no attention.
"That stupid slut Gwen! Everything is all her fault! If she hadn't sent those tabloids I wouldn't have had to go to Bermuda and married Julian and no one would ever know and Ethan would still love me! EVerything is her fault! If she hadn't gotten pregnant it would have been me, Ethan and Lil Ethan forever!"
Pilar gently pulled Lil Ethan out of Theresa's arms.
"Theresa you need to calm down. You are too riled up."
"Don't you talk to me about being riled up! You're on her side too! All of you! You kicked me out of the house because of her!"
Pilar felt it was better not to argue with her daughter.
"You need to rest Theresa. I'm going to go put Lil Ethan down and go home. You lay down for a while and clear your head."

Theresa sat in her room after Pilar had left.
"There has to be soemthing I can do to get Ethan back sooner. Anything!"
Slowly her devious mind came up with a plan.

Ethan gave his wife a big hug when he got home.
"You would not believe the mess at work. Then I called the lawyer to talk some more. I can tell that Theresa got to you today." he said as he looked at the hagred look on his wife's face. "Let's go out tonight. Put Andrea down and have Mother keep an eye on her, then we'll go out, how's that."
"Sounds wonderful!" Gwen said as she kissed her husband.

Gwen was happy to see Lil Ethan asleep in his bed when she put Andrea down for the night. She hoped that Theresa hadn't ruined every chance at being close to her son.

After they had left, Theresa snuck into the room and glared down at the sleeping girl.
"If you weren't here, then everything would be the way it's supposed to be," she said, lifting the sleeping baby out of her crib. She then grabbed Lil Ethan and snuck out the door, making sure no one noticed that she had gone.

Ivy walked into the room sometime later and was shocked when she noticed both cribs were empty. She ran through the house, questioning everyone about where they could be. Then, noticing Theresa was gone as well, she hurridly called the police.

At her office, Eve was looking over the test results of Lil Ethan's paternity test. Something just wasn't right. She looked closer and saw it. With Lil Ethan's blood type, it was impossible for Ethan to be his father. Then she realized, Theresa changed the results! Eve hurried and called the Crane Mansion.

Sheridan was still bothered by what Theresa had said about Fox not being Lil Ethan's uncle. She told Luis who agreed that there was something going on. They headed over to the Crane Mansion together.

Fox and Paloma arrived home just as the police were showing up. Concerned, they ran into the house.
"What's going on?" asked Fox.

Ethan and Gwen called it a night early and arrived home to a house full of stricken faces.
"Is something wrong?" Ethan asked, holding his wife closer.
"Son,"Julian said, not catching the mistake," Theresa is missing, as are the babies."
Gwen's face went bright white as the news sunk in. She fell into a dead faint on the floor.
