Kay sat at a stool on at the island in the kitchen picking at a small piece of pumpkin pie she had made herself. She did not really want to eat it, but she knew that she should eat some thing since she was carrying a baby.

The mention of her child made her smile with happiness. “You’ll see baby.” She said caressing her stomach. “It’ll be you me and daddy forever and ever.”

The kitchen door opening caused her to look up to see both her parents and the Russell’s and Liz walk in on her. She rolled her eyes. “Suddenly I am not hungry any more.” Kay said standing.”

“Sit down.” Sam said firmly. “And don’t make me have to tell you again.”

Kay smirked some, but did as she was told. Grace stepped forward first. “First f all,” Her mother began. “I won’t even bother to begin with the I am so ashamed and I can’t begin to describe how much it hurts that my own daughter could do this.” She stated. “Because you have made it very clear that the only person whose feelings matter to you are yours.”

“You would think that of me.” Kay said narrowing her eyes.

“Think?” Grace echoed angrily. “Young lady your cousins heart is broken right now because of what you have done to her!” She screamed. “Do you have any idea, what she must be feeling the betrayal she must be feeling.”

“I most certainly do!” Kay yelled back at her mother. “Because all of you turned on me a long time ago for Charity.”

“Kay honey you need to calm down.” Eve said softly. “You have another life to think about now.”

“Yea and about that.” Kay stated. “You all said that Charity and Miguel’s love was so strong that nothing could hurt it, or touch it. Well if that were true Miguel would have never made love to me.”

“You tricked him!” Grace stated. “I don’t know how but that’s the only way he touch a despicable person like you!”

“Alright Grace now that is out of line!” Sam said getting in between them.

“No it’s alright Dad.” Kay stated. “Like I said I am used of it. I’ve already been called a tramp, so what else you got mom.”

Grace shook her head. “Don’t test me young lady.” She stated.

“No mom come on.” Kay stated. “You obviously have some issues you need to get out, so squeal.” She stated.

“Fine!” Grace said pushing past Sam. “You wanna know what I think Kay?” She asked. “I think you are a lying, disgusting, selfish, self centered, evil manipulative bitch! Not to mention a whore and a slut!”

“Grace?” Eve said shocked.

Sam quickly grabbed Grace roughly by the arms and made her face him. “Now you listen to me!” He yelled angrily. “Don’t you ever and I mean EVER talk to MY daughter that way again!”

“She’s my daughter too.” Grace growled back. “And she asked me for the truth.”

“I don’t care.” Sam stated. “And I swear the next time you say any thing to her like that again, you will regret it.”

Kay smirked some. “Well mom sense you’ve got your chance to spill out the truth, now it’s my turn.” She stated.

Grace looked at her daughter with dagger eyes. “I am not even going to entertain your presence.” She stated.

“Well whose are you?” Kay asked. “One of your many other children.” She then brought her hands to her lips. “Oh no wait, you can’t.” She stated. “And here’s why.” She got directly in her mothers face .“ Poor Charity is too upset to speak to even you, Noah is never home, Jessica is no where to be found, and then there is John.” Her eyes lit up evilly. “John who is not even your son.”

Grace’s hand moved so fast that Kay didn't have time to catch it before it when directly across her face. “Don’t you ever say that again! EVER!” She raged at her daughter.

“Grace that is enough!” Sam yelled.

Eve stood back watching every thing her face a mixture of surprise, and fear.

Liz looked up at her older sister. “What the hell is wrong with you?” She asked. “Why do you look so scared?” She asked.

Eve looked back at Liz. “Nothing.” She lied. “I am just surprised at every thing. I’ve never known them to act this way before.”

Liz nodded her head. “Yea it’s bad.” She stated “Kinda reminds me of what you left me to fight alone.” She said watching as her sister tensed with relish. “I will destroy you Eve, I swear it.” She stated.

Kay smiled at her mother ignoring her burning cheek. “What’s the matter mommy dearest?” She asked. “Extreme sense of denial?”

“John is my son!” Grace screamed. “How dare you say he is not?!”

“Kay don’t say another word!” Sam cut her off. “You have done enough.”

“Dad you deserve to know the truth.” Kay stated. “I am not lying.”

“That’s all you ever do.” Grace screamed.

“Stop!” Sam yelled at his wife. “I have had enough. He then let her go, and turned to Kay. “Now, Kay what are you talking about?” He asked. “Do you have any proof of what your saying?”

“No!” Grace quickly answered.

Kay ignored her mother and went on. “Dad I over heard Ivy Crane and David talking about this months ago.” She stated. “They were talking about it. Ivy was asking David how things were going, and David was telling her they were gone better. He was telling her how that you slept on the couch that night, and Ivy was gloating about how the night before you were at the Mansion with her and you were talking about Ethan and Theresa and all sorts of other things.”

Sam looked back at Grace. “Grace, every thing Kay is saying is true.” He stated. “I was at the Mansion that night, and I did sleep on the couch too.”

Grace shook her head. “No.” She stated. “It’s not possible.” She then looked back to Eve. “Tell them!” She stated. “You read the test results you know!”

Eve silently cursed as she felt every one look at her. Now what was she supposed to do? How was she supposed to lie her self out of this one? “Yes Grace I....I did read the results.” She answered.

“And they said that Jon was my son, and Kay is lying.” Grace stated.

“Dad, go to the Crane Mansion.” Kay suggested. “I’m willing to bet my life that Ivy Crane is there right now with David plotting and scheming to get you back.”

“Now wait a minute Kay.” T.C. quickly spoke up. “If you’ve known about this for so long why are you just coming forth now.”

Kay let her eyes fall on her mother, and her mouth didn’t have to say a word, because those eyes answered everyone’s question.

“I’m going to the Mansion.” Sam said quickly grabbing his jacket and heading out the door.

Grace watched him go, then looked back at her daughter. “I am going with your father, but I swear to God if you are lying.....”

“Please mom.” Kay stated. “Spare me the meaningless threats.” She said as she grabbed her coat and exited out of the back door.

At the mansion, after eating every one sat in the living room happily chatting , well at least Ethan, Theresa, Sheridan and the kids were. Julian was of course with his brandy but extremely quiet Katherine had decided to go out for a drive, and Ivy was really no where to be seen at the moment.

“Hey do you remember that Thanksgiving about five or six years ago when father tried to get mother to kiss him?” Elizabeth spoke up.

Ethan quickly smiled. “Oh God That was so funny.” he stated. “Julian leaned in for the kiss and mother quickly jumped behind him and father fell face first into the salad dressing.”

Nicholas laughed along with them. “Man father looked like he wanted to ring mothers neck.” He remembered.

“I think that was one of the arguments that turned into a throwing match.” Sheridan looked at Julian. “Do you remember that Julian?” She asked. He didn’t even look up. “Julian.” She called him again.

Hearing his name, Julian snapped out f her trance. “I’m sorry what was that?” He asked.

Elizabeth looked at him suspiciously. “Father are you alright?” She asked. “Your more quiet than usual.” She pointed out.

Julian smiled some. “I’m fine.” He stated. “I suppose I am just a little tired.” He stated.

“Where is mother?” Nicholas asked suddenly. “After dinner she made a jet out of here.”

“May be some one should go find her.” Ethan quickly suggested. “Just in case.”

The room fell silent a little, and right when Elizabeth was about to say some thing, a horrendous banging sounded at the door. “Who the hell is that?” Julian asked frowning.

Sheridan stood. “I’ll get it.” She stated going into the foyer just as Ivy reappeared in the hall, David behind her. “David?” Sheridan questioned. “When did you get here?” She asked.

David quickly looked to Ivy. “Oh just a few minutes ago.” He stated. “I came by because I left one of my cameras here from the new years party, and I wanted to get a few pictures of Grace and John.”

Ivy looked at the door as the loud knocking continued. “Who is that?” She asked some what annoyed.

Sheridan shrugged as she approached the door and opened it revealing Sam, Grace and Eve, T.C. and Liz. All their eyes quickly fell on David and Ivy.

“Oh my God.” Sam said in a shocked breath.

“Sam.” Ivy smiled some. “What are you all doing here?” She asked. Her eyes made contact with Eve’s and instantly she could see the fear inside of them.

“I can’t believe it.” Sam said stepping farther into the Mansion. “I just can not believe it.”

David felt his heart began to beat more rapid. “Is there a problem?” He asked.

Sam’s eyes quickly fell on David, and all he could see was red. “YOU SON OF A BITCH!” He cures as he charged at David and sent them both flying into the living room.

“Sam no!” Grace yelled after him running towards the living room T.C, behind her.

Ivy quickly rolled over to Eve. “What the hell is going on?” She asked frantically.

“The jig is up Ivy.” Eve stated. “They know about David.”

“Oh God no.” Ivy said covering her chest. “God no.”

“Wait a minute.” Liz stated. “You knew too?” She asked. “I thought you read the test results.”

“Well she was black mailing me.” Eve stated. “I had to lie and say that John was Grace’s son.”

Liz shook her head in disgust. “I can't believe you.” She stated. “First you stab your sister in the back and now your best friend to save your own ass.”

Ivy caught on to the word sister, but was to frightened to put it together now, and wheeled into the living room. When she arrived, she saw Sam was beating David to a pulp, with T.C. and Ethan trying to hold him back.

“Oh dear God.” Ivy said to herself. “Dear God what have I done.”

“YOU BASTARD!” Sam yelled delivering a quick blow to David’s face and causing him to fall to the floor. “HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH MY FAMILY THIS WAY.”

Julian stood as far back as he could. “Dear God what is wrong with these dreaded low life locals in Harmony.”

“Dad, calm down!” Ethan said holding tightly to his father’s right arm, and T.C. clinging to the left.

“Not until I am finished with David!” Sam yelled, as David stood from where he was on the ground.

“Sam please stop it!” Grace said rushing to him. “You know how much I hate physical violence.”

Sam looked to his wife in surprise. “Grace, this man is guilty of trying to wreck our marriage.” He stated. “How can you be so calm about this.”

“Because we don’t know any thing yet.” Grace stated. “All you did was see Ivy with David and then you went off the deep end.”

“Oh come on Grace!” Sam yelled at her. “Why else would David be here? Certainly not because he was invited!”

“Will some one please tell me what the hell is going on in MY OWN home!” Julian demanded.

“Stay out of this Julian!” Sam demanded.

“The hell I will!” Julian demanded. “This is my house, and how dare you barge in here and start acting like the cave man you are?”

“I have every reason to act how I am acting!” Sam growled looking at David. “I know what you did you sick bastard! I am going to tear you apart!”

“Sam I said that’s enough!” Grace argued. “David probably has no idea what your talking about.”

“He knows exactly what I am talking about!” Sam yelled looking at David. “I know your working for Ivy!”

“What?!” Ethan asked shocked. “How can that be true Eve read the test results months ago.”

“I don’t give a damn about that!” Sam yelled. “I know in my gut this guys a liar, and besides,” He then looked to Ivy. “I am sure that a Crane has the power to change test results. Which is exactly what you did, right Ivy?” He asked.

Ivy felt all the eyes in the room fall on her. “I....I....”

“Mother?” Ethan asked looking at her. “Is what Sam saying true?” He asked.

Ivy sighed heavily. “Look, if you would all let me explain,” She began.

“Explain what?!” Sam asked angrily getting directly in her face. “Your lies?!”

Ivy shook her head. “Sam every I love you so much.” She stated tars forming in her eyes. “That’s the only reason I did....”

“You did what?!” Sam asked. “Lie to me? Is your love your justification for destroying mine and my family’s life? DO you have any idea the pain, and heart ache your lie has brought to me and my family? Do you even care.”

“I’m sorry!” Ivy stated as her tears slipped down her face. “I just...I wanted you back so much, and we started spending time together, and I just thought if I could.....”

The sting of Sam’s slap caused the entire room to fall dead silent. “Don’t you dare insult me with any more of your lies, you lying scheming BITCH!”

Ivy looked back at Sam, and at that very moment as her hand touched her face so she could feel the swelling of her cheek, all her hopes, all her dreams she could hear them shattering in her mind. She could picture her life an empty nothing, hollow and dank. A nothing.

Grace who was beginning to put the pieces together let her eyes fall on David, they had already been watering over. “So it’s true?” She asked.

“Grace.” David said in a sorrowful voice. “I......”

“Just answer the question!” Grace demanded. “Is it true?”

David looked at her, into her sorrow and pain filled eyes. He knew that he could lie and say no, but no one would believe him even if there was no concrete proof. “Yes.” David said with a heavy sigh. “It’s true. I am not your husband...John is not your son. I work for Ivy.”

“No.” Grace said in a whimper. “No.” She said dropping to her knees in sobs.

“Grace,” Eve said rushing to her side Sam behind her. “Grace, honey,” She said as she kneeled besides her.

Sam took her hand. “Grace, honey.” He stated. “Please lets leave this place.” He begged. “Lets leave this damn evil house and just never come back.”

Eve’s cell phone going off caused her to roll her eyes in irritation, that she would have to leave her friends side. “Hello.” She answered her phone standing. “Yes” She said into her phone. Suddenly her entire face fell in absolute horror. “What?!” She nearly yelled causing every one to look at her. “Yes, I will be right there I am a few minutes away.” She quickly hung up the phone.

“Eve what is it?” Sheridan asked.

Eve looked back down at Sam and Grace sadly. “That was Jessica calling from the hospital.” She stated.

Grace’s entire face fell in horror. “Dear God no.” She said as Sam helped her stand.

Sam could see by the look on her face that some thing horrible had taken place. “Eve what happened?” He asked.

“Kay was in a terrible car accident.” Eve answered.

“Oh my God.” Sam stated. “Is the baby...”

Eve shook her head. “I can’t be sure.” She stated, her eyes the fell on Julian and Ivy. “But I do know that the accident was with Katherine.”

“What?” Julian said in shock.

“Katherine.” Ivy said in a breath. “Is she alright?” She asked.

“All I know is that it’s bad.” Eve stated. “On both their parts. We should be going now.” She stated.

Ivy watched as every one headed towards the door to see about the children. She quickly rushed to Eve. “Eve.” She said grabbing her arm. “Be honest with me, how bad is it?”

Eve sighed some and tried to remember that Ivy’s daughters life was in danger. “Not good.” She stated. “And if I am going to help them, I need to be there now.”

Ivy watched as Eve hurried out the door followed by the others, and though she could not prove it, part of her knew that if Kay and Katherine died, it was all on her shoulders.
