Back in Time, Chapter 1 (Evian)

"You love me, don't you, Eve?" he gripped her arms and pulled her to him
as she struggled against his body, "I could tell, just by the way you looked
at me just now," he breathed onto her lips, "I could tell in your eyes after
we both saw that same vision," he smiled down into her face.
"NO!" she moved her body side to side, trying to free herself from his
firm grasp, "That was in the past, Julian!" she gritted through her teeth,
"Tc's my husband now, and I love him, do you hear? I LOVE HIM!" she hissed.
But her declaration of love to her husband didn't sway Julian's thoughts
or desires. His arms reached around her and pulled her to him once more
as his hands rested on her shoulders and threw off the shawl she had been
wearing. He then quickly found the zipper at the back of her dress and pulled
it down.
Eve gasped and tried with all her might to pull back from him and slap
him, but it was too late. Julian had already reached up for the thin straps
of her dress and pulled it down to her waist as he began kissing her chest.
Her eyes widened when she felt his lips upon her.
She had to get him off! She just had to!
Eve grabbed a hold of one strand of his hair and twisted it and pulled!
Julian whimpered, but didn't let up; he continued to move his lips across
Eve's chest and began kissing her cleavage. Feeling her tug harder, Julian
decided that he needed to move faster. He knew that his next move would do
the trick; would finally bring Eve to her senses...meaning that she did in
fact still loved him.
He pulled down her strapless bra and began suckling her right breast, and
that's when Eve let up and sighed with pleasure.
His hands ran up and down her bare back as he kissed Eve's breast, bringing
her closer to him, savoring the taste that he had never forgotten, nor wanted
to.
Her hands rested on his shoulders and began pushing against him, but once
Julian turned his head and began suckling her other breast, Eve had no other
choice but to hug him to her.
Julian's mouth soon traveled to her bellybutton and the tip of his tongue
dove into the little crevice. He had always known that that was one of Eve's
weak spots, and he was the only one that knew that; not even Tc, her own
husband, knew that. Julian smiled when he heard her cries. Knowing that he
and she had little time, Julian then made his move. His hands slipped under
her dress and pulled down her underwear slowly. Eve just stood there still,
eyes shut, not moving. This was nothing, but a dream, so she thought. A dream
she didn't want to wake up from, and that's when Julian backed her up against
the desk and lifted her dress up a bit, and then reached for her left leg
and lifted it up as well. He stared at her as expression after expression
appeared across her face while his hand gently ran up her smooth thighs.
Covered up by her dress, Eve never had any clue that Julian had unbuttoned
his pants and pulled them down, until after his lips claimed hers for a
fiery kiss did she feel him slip himself into her.
But, everything stopped before it even began. As soon as Eve felt herself
and Julian become one, she woke up from the dream...the dream she thought
she had been dreaming and pushed Julian away from her. He stumbled backwards,
but caught his balance when he ran into a chair.
"Eve?" he said as he began walking towards her.
"NO!" she yelled, "You stay away!" she said as she pulled up the top half
of her dress.
She slid off the edge of the desk and turned her back to him as she lifted
her dress up a bit to slip her discarded underwear on. Eve then turned around
to face him and stared at him coldly.
"How dare you!" she shook her head, "Never...NEVER touch me again, Julian
Crane!" she warned him right before she turned and ran out of the library.
Julian stayed back and didn't bother running after her. He slid back onto
the couch, his pants still undone, and began playing another tape of Eve's
singing from back in the day at The Blue Note.
"Ohh, Eve..." he sighed as he closed his eyes and dreamed of that same
vision they had just had minutes before Eve had ran out, "If only things
would've been different..."
Eve ran into Grace on her way out of the library.
“Eve?” Grace questioned Eve as she grabbed her arm, “Are you okay? You
seem…” she paused as she looked Eve over, “…shaken up?”
“I’m…I’m fine, Grace, thank you. I-I just need to find TC and the girls
so we can get the hell out of here,” Eve said as she looked down, trying her
best to avoid making eye contact with Grace.
“Are you sure you’re alright, Eve?” she asked her friend once more.
“Yes, yes, Grace, I’m quite fine,” Eve patted her hand, “Look, I’ll talk
to you later, and you tell Sam ‘goodbye’ for us, okay?” she said and left
without waiting for a response.
Eve just had to get out of the mansion, away from the library, but mostly…away
from Julian! She could not believe just what had had happened between them,
nor did she want to remember it, but it kept playing over and over again
in her mind, and very slowly, so that she could actually feel Julian’s hot
soft lips upon her body; so that she could feel him slide into her…
She got outside and stopped short. The memory of her encounter with Julian
faded from her thoughts as she saw her husband open the door to the driver’s
side of their car and walk to the other car that was parked.
“DAMNIT!” TC cursed.
“TC! What’s happened?!” Eve ran to her husband as she examined the rear
of their car, which was crushed in.
“CRANE, I tell you, it’s those damn Crane’s fault!” he rambled on.
“What?” she shook her head unbelieving.
“I heard that damn song he was listening to…”
Eve blinked and focused her attention on her husband, hoping that he would
not guess that she was the singer on that tape.
“…and while I was trying to figure out who the singer was, and at the same
time backing up, I ran into his damn car…” TC looked off to the side, “…I
just know I’ve heard that voice before, but I can’t seem to remember from
where, but ohh, it sounds so familiar…” he went on as Eve turned around
and watched as Julian ran to his Porsche.
“WHAT ON EARTH DID YOU DO TO MY CAR?!!!” Julian whined as he ran to his
car and ran his hand over the huge dent on the driver’s side.
“Dent”? The car was crushed against the tree. The car was TOTALED! Julian
was LIVID!
“Ohh, ho-ho-ho, you are going to pay,” Julian seethed, “And you are going
to pay BIG, Russell, THAT, you can be sure of!” he threatened.
But, TC was having none of that! He ran up to Julian and pounced on him,
as Eve cried for him to stop.
“Sam!” she shouted when she saw him and Grace coming out of the mansion,
“Sam! Stop them! Stop TC…he’s going to kill Julian!”
Sam pulled TC off of Julian and held him back while Julian wiped his eyebrow.
There was a gash and it was bleeding quite badly. Eve watched the handkerchief
fill up with blood fast. Concern soon filled the frightened look upon her
face, but she could not show that concern for Julian…not if she wanted TC
to be suspicious.
“You just wait, TC,” Julian smiled, “Sam, I want this man arrested for
wrecking into my car and for attacking me in my own home…”
“Julian, I-I don’t know…” he shook his head.
“You-you don’t know what?” Julian asked, “You don’t know what it means
to arrest someone, or what? Sam, I suggest that if you want to keep your
job,” he raised a brow, “that you do your job!”
Sam rolled his eyes. He hated being threatened, especially by a “Crane”,
but, what Julian had said was true. TC had no right to attack Julian. He
turned to TC…
“TC, I’m sorry,” he shrugged, “He’s right…” he pulled out the handcuffs.
“Sam, no, come on…” TC laughed.
But, Sam wasn’t swayed…he did his job and lead TC to his car in handcuffs.
Eve looked to her husband and then to Julian, and then back to her husband
and then right back at Julian again. She ran up to him and began begging.
“Julian, please! Please drop these charges against TC; he doesn’t, didn’t
know what he was doing…
“Right! Excuse me, Eve,” he walked around her, “I need to get to the hospital;
I am hurt thanks to your crazy husband, in case you forgot.”
She turned back and met TC’s eyes. He looked so sad in the backseat of
Sam’s car. She then watched as Julian got into another one of his cars and
drove off. Eve knew what she had to do; she would just follow Julian to
the hospital and beg him there…
At the hospital Julian had to get twelve stitches. He winced every time
he felt the needle prick his skin, and shivered every time he had felt the
thread being pulled. The shot they had given him hadn’t numbed the area all
the way, but Julian felt he was man enough to take the pain. He wouldn’t have
it going around town that he whined in the ER. Fifteen minutes went by and
Julian was all stitched up, and that’s when Eve showed up in his cubical.
“Eve, I know what you want, but the answer is still ‘no’.” he said and
put on his coat.
“Julian please hear me out…please!”
He stopped short. An idea had just popped up into his head.
“Okay,” he simply said as he turned around and faced her, “I’ll listen
to you, but do you think that this is an appropriate place for us to talk?”
he looked around.
“You’re right, uh, why don’t we go to my office,” she said happily, glad
that she finally got through to him.
Three minutes later, Eve had her door unlocked and walked in, followed
by Julian. He closed the door behind him and locked it. After he did that,
he turned around and walked up behind Eve.
“Ohh, Eve?”
She turned around and stumbled backward onto the edge of her desk.
“Julian, wh-what are you doing?”
He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her to him.
“I’ll tell you what,” he grinned as his eyes scanned over her face, “I’ll
drop the charges…that is…if,” he bit his bottom lip and raised a brow.
“‘If’? If what?” she shrugged.
“If…I can have one night with you, Eve,” he finished, “One beautiful night,
with our bodies moving as one,” he whispered as his lips found her neck,
“Come on, Eve, what do you say?” he now cupped her face in his hands and
stared deeply into her eyes.
Eve glared at him while she shook her head furiously. What did Julian take
her for? A fool?!
“NEVER!” she hissed as she kneed him in the groin, “You make me sick!”
she said and stepped around him as he hunched over.
“Not so fast, darling,” his arm snaked around her waist and pulled her
to him once again, “All you did, my love, was wake up little…” he looked
down and grinned.
“Ohh, Julian!” she struggled in his arms.
“Yes, you’ll be screaming that…just like you used to,” he laughed, “Remember,
darling? Eve,” he looked her in the eyes, “Can you honestly say that you
don’t miss us together?” he asked sincerely.
“YES!” she answered.
The answer was just too quick for Julian.
“Really?” he scoffed, “We’ll just see about that,” he simply said and yanked
her towards him as his lips claimed hers.
