The Nurse wheels the baby in.

“ It’s time for his feeding, Mrs. Morgan.”

Carly has a terrified look on her face. Jason speaks up. “ Thank you, my wife and I will take care of him.”

“ Alright, just buzz the station when you’re finished with him.” The nurse leaves.

“ Jason, I can’t feed him.”

“ Sure you can, Carly.”

“ Jason, I only hurt him.”

“ Ridiculous, Carly. You can do it. It’s easy. Here.” Jason places the bottle on the table in front of Carly. He goes over to the baby, and picks him up.

” Hey kid, you’re gonna eat. I’m not going to do it this time. This time it’s someone new. It’s Carly. She’s your mother.”

Jason brings him over to Carly.

“ Jason, are you sure?”

“ Yeah. Carly, if I thought that you would hurt him, I wouldn’t be doing this.  You can do it. So, just move your arms like this and get ready.”

Jason places the baby in her arms. Carly is scared, but, she holds him. She begins to cry.

“ Hello, little one. How are you? I am your Mommy.” The baby starts to cry. “ Jason?”

“ He senses that you’re nervous. But, even more, he’s hungry. Give ‘em the bottle.”

Carly gives him the bottle and he quiets down. He takes the bottle and finishes it.

“ Now, you gotta burp him.” Jason gently puts the diaper over Carly’s shoulder and Carly puts the baby up and began to pat him on his back. After awhile, the baby burps.

“ Now what?”

“ Now, you get to know him.”

” How?”

“ Scoot your legs up.” When Carly does it, Jason takes a pillow out of the closet and places it in Carly’s lap. “ Put him on the pillow.” Carly places the baby on the pillow.

“ He’s really cool, Carly. Just get to know him.”

Carly begins by holding his hand. Then, she takes his other hand.  She begins to play with his feet, and then places her hands all over his body. She is amazed by him. Jason watches Carly with him and just smiles.

“ See. I told you that he was cool.”

“ What else do you do with him?”

” Just a lot of stuff like this. Touch him. Talk to him. Tell him things about the world. You should talk to him, Carly. So, he’ll get to know your voice.”

“ Like what?”

“ Like, your story. How you got to Port Charles. Anything. About Florida. He won’t care.”

“ You know Jason, we can’t call him ‘the kid’ forever. He needs a name.”

” Well, how do you pick a name.”

“ You should name a kid something with meaning.”

” Well, the only name that means anything to me is Michael. “

“ Sonny’s name?”

” Yeah. Is there a problem?”

” No, Jason. Michael is a good name. I know what Sonny means to you.”

” And, it’s Mike’s name too. Mike’s been good to me.”

“ OK. Michael Morgan it is. Don’t you think he’ll need a middle name?”

” What’s a middle name?”

“ Well, most people have one.”

” I don’t.”

” I know. You wouldn’t think of something like this. But, I think he needs one.”

” Well, I got the first name for you. You have to this ‘middle’ stuff.”

” OK. Then, how about Robert?”

” Roberts?”

” No. Just Robert. Michael Robert Morgan. I like it. How about you?”

“ Sounds good.”

” Can you go and put it on the birth certificate?”

“ Now?”

” No, later. I don’t want to be left alone.”

” Ok.”

Carly and Jason play with the baby.

Bobbie and Stefan are laughing.

“ And, you’re telling me that Alexis had the fish caught in her bathing suit?”

“ Positively. It was squirming around in her suit and I couldn’t get to it at all, because it was so frisky. So, the only way for her to get rid of it was to take off her suit. But, then, a wave came and washed away her suit.”

” So, she had to go back to your house naked?”

” What is the American saying? As a jaybird?” Stefan laughs again. “ I had not told that story in years. I did not know that I remembered it so vividly.”

“ Well, that’s the way memories work. “

“ You must have a corresponding story between you and Luke.”

The smile goes off Bobbie’s face almost immediately. A dark expression overcomes her face. Stefan almost instantly regrets it.

“ Barbara, I am sorry.”

“ No, Stefan. Don’t apologize. My childhood was what it was. Hideous. It’s really a blur. A fuzzy set of images and more like a series of feelings that come from it. Mostly ones of complete dread. No child should ever have to live like that.”

Stefan takes Bobbie’s hand. “ Barbara, this child NEVER will.”

Bobbie looks Stefan in the eye. “ Do you have ANY idea, how much I want this baby?”

“ I believe I do.”

Bobbie has a tear running down her cheek, which Stefan brushes away.

“ Well, isn’t this cozy. The little parents bonding.” Stefan turns to find Luke in the doorway.

Jax is reading a report when his doorbell rings. He opens the door to find Justus there.

“ Justus. Please come in.”

“ Thank you, Jax.”

“ Well, dinner won’t be up for a few minutes.”

“ I doubt that either one of our idea’s for a good evening is dinner with one another.”

” True.”

” So, let’s get down to business, shall we?”

” What are you suggesting, Justus?”

” A deal, Jax. Something that would benefit both of us.”

” Then, by all means, please proceed.”

Justus is in his limo and picks up his cell phone.

“ Anastasia Cassadine.”

” Sasha, hello.”

” Justus. Do you have good news?”

” I have excellent news. Jax fell for it. Hook, line, and sinker.”

” Justus, that is music to my ears.”

“ Would you like to join me for a drink to celebrate?”

“ Justus, not tonight. I have to go on another business trip. But, I definitely want to take a raincheck.”

” I’m going to hold you to it.”

“ Bye.”

” Bye.”

The District Attorney was sitting in his office with Dara when Taggert walked in.

” Detective Taggert.”

” Mr. Schultz. Ms. Jensen.”

” Please sit down, Detective. Detective Taggert, I would like to inform you that the the FBI is in Port Charles.”

” Ok. I’ll bite. Why are they here?”

“ They’re here to operate an Organized Crime Task Force. They already have people working undercover. They plan on taking down Jason Morgan.”

“ Music to my ears. So, how can I help?”

“ I was told to tell you that you can help by doing what you do, when it comes to Mr. Morgan. If you do a full frontal assault on him, then..”

” It will be camouflage for the Feds.”

“ Exactly.”

“ I can do it. Especially if it helps bring down Morgan.”

” You will work closely with ADA Jensen. She is assigned to this case. Only she will know the identity of the FBI Mole. Not even I know who the person is. Jensen?”

“ I’m fine, sir.”

” Well, the two of you must have things to discuss. You can go.”

Dara and Taggert leave the office.

” So, you want to go eat?”, Taggert asks.

“ Sure. I have nobody at home. “

Dara and Taggert leave.

“ Spencer.”

“ Count Vlad.”

” Luke, I have nothing to say to you.”

” Well, then, Barbara Jean, you can listen.”

” Barbara, I will be leaving. I will proceed with the arrangements for your return.”

Stefan leaves.

” So, is Stiff right? Have you actually lost all your mind and are returning to him?”

” I am going back to Wyndemere, Luke.”

” Why? Bobbie, for God’s sake. Why? Don’t you know that the man sees you nothing as nothing but a brood mare.”

” Luke. This isn’t a conversation that I am going to have with you. I am going to have my baby. I will need rest, peace and quiet.”

” And, you’re under the delusion that you’re gonna get that on Island of the Damned?”

” Yes. For now.”

” Barbara Jean, you’re crazy if you think that man is going to let you leave with his child. Once he has you, he’ll never let you go.”

“ I don’t need your protection Luke. Not that I ever had it.”

“ I will always be there, Bobbie. Looking out for you.”

“ You have it backwards, Luke. You were NEVER there, looking out for me. Please go. You upset me, which upsets the baby.”

” Your Cassadine spawn.”

“ MY child.”

“ Fine.”

Luke leaves, and Bobbie sighs in disgust.

Dara and Taggert are sipping their drinks at the Outback.

” So, ADA Jensen, this is a dangerous assignment for you.”

“ You think? I’m not the cop, Taggert.”

” No, but, you’re the one who’s gonna put Morgan away.”

” If we’re lucky.”

“ No. Luck has nothing to do with it. We’re gonna take Angerboy down because he’s dirty as the day is long, and we’re not.”

” If you say so. But, even though Schultz said that the Feds want you to continue Taggert, you have to be clean. Nothing dirty. We are NOT going to give Morgan any out whatsoever.”

“ You don’t have to worry. I’m gonna bust him.”

“ Maybe. Maybe not. Don’t go Lone Ranger on me, Marcus.”

” Oohh. Marcus is it. Is Ms. Jensen turning away from the vanilla that she’s been tasting and coming back to wonderful flavor that chocolate is?”

” I will ignore that, because we work together. Don’t go there. Don’t ever go there again. Remember, you’re not the only one who carries a gun.”

Alexis notes that Stefan is in a good mood upon entering the Conservatory.

“ You’re in good spirits, Stefan.”

” I suppose I am. Barbara and I had an excellent conversation. She will be returning to Wyndemere. And, then, it will be only a short time before I will be able to get her to Greece.”

” If you and Bobbie are getting along better, what need is there for the plans for Greece.”

” Because, I cannot trust that Barbara’s goodwill is going to continue.

“ Stefan, I understand you connection to this child, but, I have to ask you, are you really ready to deny your child his or her mother? Has it come to this? Are you willing to do this?”

Stefan looks at Alexis. He ponders it. “ I don’t know.”
