Chad closed his eyes as months of tears poured out of them. He had lost
her, the only woman he had truly loved was gone. Falling on his bed he
wiped his eyes roughly with his hand. "This can’t be happening." He whimpered
trying to breath. " We can’t be over."
Pulling himself up he sat on the bed and shook his head. Julian Crane
had caused this, he was the reason Theresa forced him out of her life.
"That man will pay." He growled. " He’ll pay for everything he has done."
He yelled picking up a cup from the night stand and flinging it at the
wall. Anger swept through Chad like never before, as all the pain in his
life suddenly caught up with him.
No parents.
No one to love.
Living scared and alone.
Loosing his brown eyed angel.
Theresa will you come back here?" Chad laughed.
"What’s wrong? Chicken?" She yelled grabbing a snow ball. "Come on
Chad, fight back!" She giggled throwing the mass of snow at him, just missing
his head and hitting his arm.
"Oh you’re going to pay for that one." He grinned running toward her
scooping up snow from a park bench.
"Chad you wouldn’t!" She screeched as he pitched the snow at her, laughing
as her hair became dusted with white.
Laughing with everything in her she ran toward him as he scooped her
up whirling her around. "You look like a angel Resa. My brown eyed snow
angel." He said kissing her forehead. Sitting her down she smiled and looked
up at him.
"Chad?" She whispered.
"Yeah Resa?" He asked wiping snow from her hair.
"Kiss me." She said leaning up to him.
"But we said we’d take it slow."
"Then kiss me slowly." She smiled.
Swallowing Chad leaned down and let his lips touch hers for the first
time.
"God please don’t take her from me." He screamed falling to the floor.
"Not Resa, I need her."

Charity opened the door to Bray’s home and walked in. Her head hurt
and her mind was reeling.
"Thanks for playing along." Bray smiled shutting the door behind her.
"Yeah no problem." She nodded almost dazed.
"Mom and Dad really liked you, too bad I’ll have to tell them its over
in a few days." Bray went on. "I know mother is going to have a duck fit
with me."
"Uh huh." Charity said looking up at Bray. "I’m going to get ready
for bed. Its been a long night." She frowned.
"Did you hear anything I said?" Bray questioned.
Charity shook her head. "No, not really." She admitted. "My mind is
pretty full right now."
Bray crossed his arms. "Right. But you will see a doctor?"
"Whatever. Doesn’t matter to me." She shrugged.
"Standish, its important."
"To you maybe."
Bray rolled his eyes. "Look, I’m trying to be nice to you here, don’t
make it hard on me."
"I never asked you to be nice to me Brayden. We both know you don’t
like me."
"Your not that bad." Bray reasoned. "And I want you to get checked
out."
Charity let out a huff. "I don’t need you telling me what to do." She
suddenly blurted. "Miguel tried to do that and I hated it. I’m not weak,
and I can take care of my self."
Brayden let out a angry laugh. "Why do I even bother with you? You
know what? Fine! If you can take care of your self then find a job and
get out of MY house." He commanded.
"I’ll do that!" Charity screamed.
"Good!" Bray said watching Charity storm out of the room.

Charity knocked on Chad’s door as she wiped tears from her eyes. "Come
on in." He yelled.
Charity walked in and looked at Chad sitting on his bed frowning. "
She doesn’t want me." He whispered looking up at Charity, his eyes red
and hurt.
"What?" Charity asked walking over and sitting beside him. " Its really
over." He sighed. "And its all Julian Crane’s fault." He said gripping
his fist together.
Charity’s eyes widen. " Julian’s fault?" She asked.
Chad looked at Charity, "Sure you want to hear this? Because I don’t
think I can take you running off too." He muttered.
"I’m not going anywhere." She whispered softly.
"Even if I told you Julian Crane is my father?" He asked bluntly.
Charity let out a loud gasp as her hand fell over her mouth. "What?"
She gulped.
"I am the son of Eve Russell and Julian Crane. So, still wanta stick
around?" He asked shaking his head.
Charity composed herself. "How can that be?" She almost yelled.
Chad shook his head. "I don’t have a clue. All I know is its true and
it cost me the one thing that matters."
"Theresa." Charity sighed.
"I’m the son of the man she hates, and she’s all scared that I might
turn out like him."
"Chad that’s crazy, you’re a good person."
"Tell that to her. I walked away tonight because I couldn’t stand to
see the fear in her eyes. "
"Chad I’m so sorry." Charity whispered.
"You know I always wanted to find out who my parents were, and now
I wish I didn’t know. I could kill that man!" He shouted. "I don’t want
a father if it means loosing Theresa."
Charity sighed and closed her eyes as a pain hit her again. "No." She cried out clutching her head. "Not again!" She yelled as her mind flew back in time.
"Charity I think you should sit down." Faith Standish said frowning.
"Mom, I’m going to the mall." Charity informed her mother.
"Charity, I’ve got to tell you something." Faith said wiping a tear.
Stopping in her tracks Charity frowned. "Mom what’s going on?" She
asked.
"Its your father." Faith began.
Fear fell in Charity’s eyes. "Daddy? What about daddy?" She asked.
Faith took her daughters hands. "Baby, he was in a accident." She began.
"No. But he’s okay right? He wasn’t hurt was he?" Charity whispered.
"Baby, it was really bad."
"Mom no!" Charity quivered. "Please stop!" She pleaded gripping her
mother’s hands.
"He lost so much blood." Faith cried.
"But he’s going to make it right?" Charity whimpered. "Tell me daddy
will make it."
Shaking her head Faith cried. "No, Charity he didn’t make it. They
tried to save him, but they couldn’t."
"Daddy!" Charity yelled falling on her knees. "No!" She said as Faith
fell with her holding her in her arms.
"I want daddy." Charity cried again. "I need him."
"Daddy!" Charity yelled out. "No not my dad." She said again. "Please
no!"
Chad grabbed her and looked at her. "Charity what’s wrong."
Shaking she looked up at Chad. "He’s dead." She cried. "My dad died."
Chad took her into his arms and held her, "I’m so sorry." He told her.
"I really am alone." She realized looking up at Chad.
Chad swallowed. "No you’re not. You have me Charity."
Looking up into his eyes emotions flooding through out her Charity
leaned closer to Chad. He looked back at her and suddenly without a word
their lips met, just as the phone rang.
"Please be there Chad! I am so sorry." Theresa cried holding the phone
in her hand. "Just answer the phone and everything will be okay again."
