Money Is No Match For Love ch. 21
by lordoftheringsfan
Simone laid on the floor sobbing helplessly
while Max, Jim, Tony, and the others tossed the cassette cover with Eve's
picture around, while the other girls made remarks that made Simone sound
like a complete tramp.
"Look, she can't even fight back." Catrina
said.
"This is so unbelievable," Olivia said, watching
Simone sob on the floor.
"You gotta get toughened up to survive in
this place," Bev said. The tall blonde yanked Simone to her feet.
"I know what will get her used to this place,"
Cynthia said. Cynthia pulled a needle out of her purse and handed it to
Simone.
"I don't do drugs." Simone said.
"You do now," Cynthia said, placing the needle
in Simone's hand.
"It's only a matter of time before she realizes
that she can't last a day in this place and cracks." Bev said, the four
girls giving Simone and intimidating stare.
"Go easy on her," Max said. "Judging by this
she's definitely got potential, but I can tell she's got a long way to
go." Max handed the picture to Simone.
Rebecca walked down the hallway. Not realizing
that TC's bedroom door was a few inches open, Rebecca stopped when she
had unintentionally got a glimpse of him changing his clothes.
"TC, you're really not making avoiding you
easy," Rebecca thought. Rebecca tried to get her mind off of TC by thinkng
of Julian, but she couldn't help but stare as he slipped his shirt on.
TC shut shut his dresser drawer and turned around. Rebecca quickly rushed
away, afraid of what would happen if TC realized that she had been watching
him dress.
"Forget about TC," Rebecca said once she had
gotten back to her room. "You have to think of how you're going to get
your man back." Rebecca said. Rebecca's memory reminded her that it had
been her that dumped him. "You had every right to be mad at him, but if
Eve thinks she's going to have your pookey just like that then she's got
another thing coming." Rebecca tried to focus on coming up with a plan.
Just the mental picture of Eve in Julian's arms made Rebecca absolutely
furious. Rebecca came up with an idea.
"I'll think of a way to get Eve and TC back
together!" Rebecca said. Rebecca realized something. "How am I supposed
to do that wen I'm stuck in the damn witness protection program with TC?"
Rebecca left the room and walked down the hall, trying to avoid looking
into TC's bedroom. Once again, the door had been left open and TC was talking
to himself about how his love life had been screwed up by Julian.
"Damn Cranes!" TC yelled. Rebecca jumped when
she heard a crash. TC left the room. Making sure he didn't see her, Rebecca
sneaked into TC's room. She sighed in frustration when she saw a smashed
picture of Eve and TC on the floor.
"Oh no," Rebecca said. "If TC can't even stand
to look at Eve's picture, how am I ever going to get Eve away from Julian?"
Rebecca asked. Rebecca looked at the smashed picture and grinned deviously.
"But, if TC gets so angry at the sight of Eve's picture, that means that
he is definitely not over her." Rebecca thought about all of the times
that TC had nearly killed Julian because of the accident costing him his
tennis career. "If TC is that furious over something like tennis, he is
definitely furious about Eve being with him." Ivy was too busy thinking
about Sam to care about Julian, Theresa was always in la-la land of denial
thinking about how she was going to take Ethan away from Gwen, all she
had to do was think about someone to lure Eve away from Julian. TC would
definitely be a lot of hard work, so maybe if she set it up to make it
look like Eve was involved with another man, she could get rid of several
problems at the same time. Rebecca thought of the perfect person. All she
would have to do would be create a few small catastraphes, enough to send
Antonio to the hospital, where he would be around Eve. She could have clues
left for Eve to remind her of TC just at the convient moments for Antonio
to comfort her. After several occasions of seeing Eve in another man's
arms, Julian would realize that he wouldn't want to be with her, and that
he would come to the apartment looking for Rebecca.
"This would be easier than I thought if I
only had my cellphone!" Rebecca said. Rebecca suddenly remembered packing
her suitcases in a hurry, and seeing something resembling a cellphone fall
into one of the suitcases. Rebecca rushed to the closet and dug through
the suitcases, sending clothes flying in every direction until she found
the cellphone.
"Oh, you're going down, Eve," Rebecca said
as she dialed one of her favorite numbers.
"Hello?" The irritated voice of her henchman
Hans said into the cellphone.
"You might want to loose that agitated tone
if you want to make a lot of money," Rebecca said.
"Who is this?" Hans said in a rude tone.
"This is Rebecca Hotchkiss, and if you want
to make more money than you know what to do with, you'll know better than
to use that tone." Rebecca said.
"Alright, alright, enough talk, just get to
the point. What do I have to do?" Hans asked. Rebecca made sure that the
door was shut so no one would overhear.
"I need your help getting my husband back,"
Rebecca said. Rebecca went into detail about her scheme to get Julian while
Hans rambled to someone in the background. "Are you even listening to me?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm listening," Hans said. "Just
get me the money and I'll get the job done."
"I might not be able to get the money right
away since I'm in the witness protection program, that's why I can't do
this job myself, but if you want to get paid, you'll get it taken care
of as soon as possible." Rebecca said.
"Ok," Hans said as they made agreements on
the plan. Rebecca grinned as she ended the call and placed the cellphone
back in the suitcase.
"They think I've been bad before, they haven't
seen nothing yet." Rebecca said mischeiviously.
Kay arrived at Simone's house and knocked on
the door, followed by Jessica, Reese, Miguel, and Charity.
"We still haven't heard from Simone," Whitney
said, before anyone could get a word out.
"Still?" Charity asked. "I knew she was devestated
when she found out, but I wonder where she could be?"
"She could be anywhere, thanks to someone,"
Kay said, giving Whitney an icy glare for ruining her best friends life.
"Kay, I did not want anything to happen to
my sister." Whitney said.
"Sure," Kay said.
"We have to do something," Jessica said.
"After what happened at the Crane party when
Simone wrecked Julian's car, I wouldn't be surpised with anything she's
gotten into." Reese said. Whitney looked worried.
"Reese," Jessica hissed, elbowing him.
"But we will help you find her," Reese said,
covering for himself.
"Simone, if only you would have listened to
me, you wouldn't be in the mess you're in now." Kay thought. Kay suddenly
remembered something.
"I think I might know a way to find Simone,"
Kay thought.
