Theresa looked over at the man she loved, his mouth gapped open staring
at his horrible sister. "What did you say?" Chad asked Jasolyn, her wicked
smile forcing his face to turn red from anger.
"What? Didn’t hear me the first time? Your little angel over there
almost married Noah Bennett, isn’t that right Theresa?" Jasolyn said a
grin tracing her lips.
Theresa swallowed and turned to look at Chad, "Chad, I can explain."
Chad ran his fingers through his hair. "I’m not sure I wanta hear it
Resa."
"So I guess that means Theresa isn’t the honest Saint you thought she
was." Jasolyn laughed.
"Shut up!" Theresa yelled over at Jasolyn, turning to Chad she frowned,
her body weak. "It was a long time ago."
"So its true." Chad frowned.
Theresa nodded her head slowly. "Yeah." She whispered. "Its true."
"You almost married Noah Bennett?" Chad swallowed. "How did that happen?"
Theresa began to pace in the living room. "It was a long time ago Chad,
I was only fifteen and he was just a couple years older than that." She
began. "He wanted to go out with me, and I wanted that too." She frowned.
"But Mama and Luis got so mad, they said I had to wait until I turned sixteen,
and I knew that Noah would be off in college by that time. So we snuck
around, I went to his football games, every sporting event possible, and
he was there as well. I lied to Mama about it, because I cared about him,
and right before he graduated we had this crazy idea." Theresa explained
fear in her watery eyes.
"Let me guess, you two decided to run off together." Chad growled.
Theresa slowly nodded her head. "I thought I loved him, and I thought
I’d be with him forever. Mama wasn’t much older when her and Papa got married
so I figured why not? Noah said he could go to college part time, and I
actually thought about quitting school, but Noah said I would graduate,
that we could make it."
Chad let out a heavy sigh, "So what happened? Why didn’t you two love
birds run off together?"
Jasolyn laughed, "Oh I know, I know!"
"Shut up!" Both Theresa and Chad yelled at the same time.
Theresa then looked at Chad, " Noah and I decided to meet at the pier,
we’d just leave Harmony behind and start over." She sighed, "But Miguel
and Kay figured something was going on and the little brats starting listening
in on our phone calls. Miguel heard our plans and told Luis, who told Mama.
" Theresa shrugged, "And after a lot of yelling, Mama forced Noah and I
to break up, and grounded me for three months."
Chad looked at Theresa, "So why didn’t you and Noah try to make it
work after you turned sixteen?"
Theresa smiled, " I got over Noah, and he got over me. I was never
in love with Noah Bennett, and I realized how stupid I had been. "
"And you didn’t tell me because?" Chad questioned crossing his arms.
"Because to me it wasn’t a big deal Chad. Noah was just a part of my
teen years, my past."
"I asked you once jokingly if Ethan and I were the only two men you’d
ever been engaged too, you told me that we were. Theresa you lied to me."
Theresa frowned. "I never really thought about what I had with Noah
when you asked me that question, I mean you were kidding around. Besides,
I never thought about Noah and I being engaged, we simply had a crazy plan
that never happened."
"But you said Ethan and I were the only guys you seriously dated."
Chad frowned.
Theresa nodded her head, "Noah and I were kids, it wasn’t serious like
you or Ethan, I never loved him like I love you."
Chad sighed, "Resa you almost married the dude, sounds serious to me.
If Miguel and Kay hadn’t snooped around you’d be Mrs. Noah Bennett right
now."
Theresa shook her head, "It would have never worked out, Chad its not
a big deal really." She insisted.
"Big deal? Resa, its a huge chunk of your life that you left out."
"No, its a few months of my life. Noah and I just moved on after that,
I haven’t talked to him in years."
"That ain’t the point! You didn’t tell me, you left something big out
Theresa, I’ve told you everything about my life, and you left out something
you knew, I would have wanted to know."
Theresa looked over at Jasolyn, "Happy now?"
"Quite." Jasolyn smiled.
"Get out of my house." Chad yelled at his sister.
"If you insist." Jasolyn laughed, then looked back at Theresa, "But
Theresa dear, don’t let my brother fool you with his, ‘I’ve told you everything’
speech. Ask Mr. Crane here about the child he thought he fathered, and
why he really came to Harmony." Jasolyn smiled as she walked toward the
door. "You kids have fun." She waved closing the door behind her.
Theresa quickly turned to Chad with angry eyes, "Now do you want to
tell me what she’s talking about?" She asked putting her hands on her hips.

"Russell get out of my way now!" A determined Julian Crane yelled at
the man in front of him.
"You’re not getting out of here Crane!" T.C. growled shoving Julian
back. Julian eyes became large with furry, in front of him stood Eve’s
former husband, a man that totally despised him.
Julian lunged forward knocking T.C out of his way as he stormed out
of his study."You have no claim to Eve now, just let it be!" Julian warned.
.
"Or what Crane? You’ll have one of your men take care of me? I won’t
allow you and Eve to make a fool of me!"
"First off, I have no men, and secondly, your making a fool of your
own self man!" Julian smirked as he made his way to his front door. "The
only thing you have left with Eve is your children, so just let her live
her life!"
T.C. looked up at Julian "You think I’m going to allow you and my wife
to carry on again? We shared a love you’ll never understand."
Julian put his hand on his doorknob, "That’s where you’re wrong Russell,
I have loved that woman most of my life, we made a son together out of
our love, and I had to make the greatest sacrifice just to see that child
and Eve live. Not a day has went by that I didn’t think of Eve, and all
that we shared. Eve gave you two lovely girls, but she never truly gave
you the one thing you longed for did she man? Eve never could give you
her heart!" Julian smirked seeing T.C. frown. "And that’s what kills you
isn’t it? You know the truth, she couldn’t give you her heart because she
had already gave it to me!"
T.C. flung himself at Julian just as Julian opened the front door sending
T.C. flying to the ground. Julian walked past the man and looked down at
him, "Let her go T.C, take what pride you have left and leave." Julian
advised as he headed to his car, prepared to go see the woman he loved.

Ericka Crane stood at her Aunt’s door, as the door swung open Ericka
smiled. "Aunt Sheridan!"
"Ericka sweetheart!" Sheridan almost yelled grabbing her niece hugging
her tightly. "What are you doing in town sweetie?"
Ericka smiled, "Wherever Jasolyn goes, trouble follows, so I’m here
to watch my big sister." She explained.
Sheridan shook her head, "Your sister is something else isn’t she?"
She asked as she shut the door.
Ericka nodded her head. "I love her, and yet I don’t know why." The
young girl frowned.
Sheridan showed Ericka into her living room. "I once had a problem
loving your father, when we were younger."
"Daddy used to be such a cold man." Ericka frowned.
"Yes he did, but he was still my brother, and I loved him regardless
of his ways." Sheridan smiled.
"He’s changed a lot hasn’t he?" Ericka asked. "He’s been calling more,
and writing." She smiled. "Like a real father."
Sheridan nodded her head as they sat down on the light blue sofa, "He’s
trying very hard now Ericka, he’s really wanting to change."
The young girl smiled at her aunt. "Does my brother have anything to
do with that, my new brother I mean?"
Sheridan laughed. "Chad? Oh I’d say Chad is a big part of it."
"And his mother?" Ericka asked.
"Dr.Russell is a wonderful lady."
"Daddy cares for her a great deal doesn’t he?" Ericka grinned.
"And just why would you think that?" Sheridan asked arching her eyebrow.
Ericka shook her head, "I’m a Crane, I find out things." She laughed.
"I have sources."
"And your sources told you that Julian cares for Eve?"
Ericka looked at her aunt, "Yes, I hear they’ve been spending a lot
of time together, and I also hear Chad wants his parents together. Personally
I think if this woman makes Daddy happy he should go for it."
"You do?" Sheridan asked rather shocked.
"I’m not Jasolyn Aunt Sherry. I love my daddy, and not for his money
or what he can give me. I just want him to be happy, does this Dr. Russell
make him happy Aunt Sherry?"
Sheridan smiled at her niece, so much like herself she thought, "Your
father and Dr.Russell are not dating, but when he talks about her, his
eyes show life, and I haven’t saw life in your father’s eyes in many years."
Ericka grinned, "So he loves her still?"
"Ericka, I can’t answer that." Sheridan blushed.
"Aunt Sherry, I know my parents never loved each other, and I learned
to accept that, but If my daddy can find happiness I want that for him."
"You are wise beyond your years Ericka."
"I wouldn’t say that." Ericka giggled. "I just want to see daddy smile
like you do. "
"I want that too."
"Then someone is going to have to stop Jasolyn, because she is planning
on ruining everything." Ericka frowned, just as Ericka’s cell phone rang.
"Maybe that’s the Evil Crane now." She joked putting the phone to her ear.
"Hello." She said then frowned. "Wait, you said you weren’t coming
for a few days! No, of course I don’t care. " She said then paused. "You
did what!" She suddenly yelled into the phone rolling her eyes. "What is
wrong with you? Okay fine, I’ll see what I can do." She sighed. "See you
soon."
Sheridan looked at her niece a worried look on her face. "Something
wrong?"
Ericka smiled. "Well sort of."
"Ericka what’s going on?"
Ericka began to laugh, "Your nephew is in town."
"Jonah?"
Ericka nodded her head. "Yeah, he came a bit early, but in typical
Jonah form he needs my help."
"Is everything okay?" Sheridan asked remembering some of the things
Jonah had gotten himself into in the past.
"It seems my dear brother stopped to get himself a coffee, and locked
his keys in his car. " She grinned. "Now this would be a small problem,
but Jonah, being the smart Crane he is, decided to simply bash the window
out to get in his car."
"Oh no." Sheridan frowned. "But all he had to do was call for help."
"Oh wait, there’s more." She giggled. "See, he wasn’t wearing his contacts,
and another car was parked right next to his, same make and model, so when
he came back out of the Book Café, he got a little confused.
"He didn’t." Sheridan frowned.
"Oh he did." Ericka smiled. "Bashed the window out of that car instead,
then he realized the other car was Dark blue, not Black like his."
Sheridan threw her hand over her mouth. "We better get over there now."
Ericka nodded her head. "So think the dumb gene comes from mother’s
side of the family?" She giggled as they headed out the door.
