Ch. 20
 

The next day, everyone was on the flight to Los
Angles. They had heard about Kay and Simone sneaking
off so Eve and Julian had taken the Crane private
jet for a romantic getaway while T.C, Rebecca and
the Bennetts had taken another flight.

Rebecca stared at the coach airline food like it
was alive, then cringed when T.C. was eating it like
it was no big deal. Rebecca waved down a flight
attendant and requested some very pricey items.

"This is coach, get used to it." The flight attendant
answered, giving Rebecca a snide smirk. Rebecca picked
up the bag of peanuts that were dropped in her lap
and kind of stared at it then gave up and opened it.
T.C. smirked. Rebecca elbowed him.

"What?" T.C. asked, grinning.

"I'm just used to either first class or the Crane
private jet, ok?" Rebecca asked.

"Yesterday I had to keep you from trying to clean
the house and that whole cooking incident at the
Bennetts now you act all deprived." T.C. said. T.C.
started to make faces at her. "Poor becky," T.C. said
in a mocking voice. Rebecca sighed and flashed back
to T.C. coming home to finding her accidentally breaking
things tripping over the vaccum cleaner
cord.

"Lucky I'm here with you or this would be a punishment."
Rebecca said. T.C. laughed.

"I know this lifestyle is taking some getting used to
but it would be a lot easier if you just lightened
up and be yourself," T.C. said. Rebecca kissed him.

"You know, thats one of the reasons I love you,"
Rebecca said.

"I hope I can talk some sense into Kay and get her to
come back home." Grace said.

"I know I usually side with Kay but this time she has
gone too far, their little girl was just released
from the hospital." Sam said.

"This is the final straw." Grace said. "I know Kay
won't be thrilled when we show up but this is a new
low. I can't beleive she'd take her baby all the way
across the country just as an excuse to get Miguel
away from Charity." Kay and Simone had thought they
were making an easy getaway, but unfortunately for
them, Tabitha had called both of their parents and
filled everyone in.

Meanwhile, Eve and Julian were in the Cranes private
jet. After enjoying a romantic meal, Julian had to
struggle with an excuse to send Eve into the other
room on the jet to get something. Julian nervously
fidgeted with a small box in his pocket.

"I have to do this right," Julian thought, feeling
extremely nervous. Eve returned and continued chattering
about how great their life together was
going to be and how much better it could be if they
found their son. Julian removed the box from his
pocket and open it.

"Oh, Julian!" Eve said, overjoyed and speechless. Eve
smiled at him.
