Chapter 21
 

T.C. sighed with relief as the plane landed.
"Thank goodness she finally shut up," T.C. thought. He
was crazy about Rebecca, but she had barely let
him get a word in the entire flight. T.C. had thought
Rebecca would calm down once they got off the plane,
but as soon as they went to pick up her luggage she
seemed to get even more hyperactive talking about
their plans for the evening after visiting Gwen at
the hospital.

"Rebecca, calm down." T.C finally said. With Rebecca's
constant chatter on the flight, he had barely got
a second to think about how he was going to handle
this latest potential squabble between his daughters.

"I'm sorry T.C.," Rebecca said. "I'm just so glad to
finally be off of that plane and look there's Eve and
Julian!" Rebecca said, still having to remember to
quit calling Julian pookey. T.C. sighed, wondering
how he could get Rebecca to quit acting
hyperactive for five minutes. T.C. had to cover his
ears when Rebecca started squealing when she noticed
Eve's engagement rings and started asking a million
questions. Eve and Julian exchanged a smirk which
Rebecca didn't catch.

"Hey, why don't the four of us go out to dinner or
something?" Julian asked.

"That sounds great," T.C. said. "After we drop our
bags off at the apartment, we'll meet up in an hour."

"Why don't we turn unpacking into a game?" Eve asked
Julian seductively after T.C. and Rebecca walked off.

"I called ahead and had the place furnished so all we
have to worry about is our luggage, we'll have plenty of time
to break the place in later," Julian said. Once
they were in one of the Crane limos, Eve and Julian
pressed the button for the privacy window and made
love in the back seat.

Meanwhile, Rebecca arrived at Gwen's room, who was
due any day now.

"So you're saying that you and T.C. are an item now?"
Gwen asked, not quite sure how to take all of it in.
"Julian and Dr. Russell?" Gwen was having trouble
picturing her mother and T.C falling head over heels
in love, not to mention Julian's scheme with blackmailing Liz.

"At least Theresa is 3000 miles away from Los Angeles and Ethan!"
Rebecca said. Gwen showed Rebecca to the
door.

"Maybe you'd better catch up to T.C., Eve and Julian
before I start freaking out over Theresa again,"
Gwen advised, unaware that Dr. Able was listening.

"You'd better not be badgering my patient!" Dr.
Able said seriously.

"I'm not badgering her, I'm her mother!" Rebecca said.

"I'm just taking precautions, its very important that
my patient not get worked up." Dr. Abel said.

"I wasn't working her up, I just said at least Theresa
is 3000 miles away." Rebecca said.

"Exactly." Dr. Abel said. "She might be 3000 miles
away but the mention of her name sends Mrs. Winthrops
blood pressure through the roof."

"Alright," Rebecca said. Rebecca and Gwen said goodbye. After
walking down the hallway, Rebecca noticed some familiar
dark hair. "No way." Rebecca
said. Theresa turned around and fainted from shock
to see Rebecca in L.A. She knew that she'd be busted.

Theresa came to a few seconds later to find Rebecca
choking her.

"Heeeellp!" Theresa choked. The staff pulled Rebecca
off of Theresa and had security throw her out.

"What happened to you?" T.C. asked after Rebecca showed
up at the apartment.

"Security threw me out for strangling Theresa." Rebecca said.

"Theresa?" T.C. asked.

"Yeah, she was standing right there in the hospital like it was no
big deal." Rebecca said.

"You know what? Why don't we just get ready so we
can meet Eve and Julian then after dinner we can go
out on our own for some sight seeing?" T.C. suggested.

"That sounds great," Rebecca said, starting to feel
guilty about complaining so much. Rebecca decided to
make it up to T.C., smirked deviously, picked up the
phone when T.C. went out of the room and arranged for
some romantic room service for when they got back. She
couldn't wait to see the look on T.C.'s face.

"What were you up to?" T.C. asked, walking back into
the room.

"Who? Me?" Rebecca asked, playing dumb.

"I know when you're up to something," T.C. said.

"You'll just have to wait until we get back tonight,"
Rebecca said.
