"Daddy has a girlfriend." Jada giggled as Chad served her pancakes.
Chad rolled his eyes, "Daddy doesn’t have a girlfriend."
"Uh huh, Justin said so." Jada smiled.
"Your Uncle Justin was teasing sweetie. But what would you do if daddy had a girlfriend?"
"Like all those girls Justin talks about?" Jade questioned.
"Sort of. What if daddy had a friend that he really liked."
"And kissed? Kissing is so gross." Jada frowned.
Chad felt his face grow hot. How was he suppose to talk to his little girl about Theresa. She was so young, he had never tried talking to her about girlfriends, and now he needed to and didnt’ have the words.
"You like Theresa right?" He said sitting down.
"She’s cool, and Kendra is my friend." Jada smiled. "Is Theresa your girlfriend?"
Chad let out a cough. "Theresa? Well what if I really liked her and she hung out with me a lot?" Chad quizzed.
"Its neat. She’s really nice daddy. Justin said Theresa made you smile." Jada informed him.
"Yeah baby girl, Resa makes me smile."
"Can I have more pancakes?" Jada questioned.
"Sure thing."
"Daddy, If you like Theresa bunches does that mean she might be my new mommy?" Jada said looking up her eyes studying her father.
Chad took a deep breath. "What makes you ask that doll?"
"Cause Kallie’s daddy liked his friend bunches and now she’s Kallie’s mommy number two." Jada explained.
"Yeah well, me and Theresa ain’t that good of friends yet sweetheart. You just eat your pancakes and we’ll deal with that later."
"Ok daddy."
Chad took a breath and walked out of the kitchen, looking up he saw Justin heading down the stairs.
"So you told Jada I had a girlfriend huh?"
Justin shook his head. "Man I was playing with her. She said it was cool with her anyway. "
"She’s a great kid that’s for sure." Chad laughed.
"Yeah she’s something else. So was I right? Do you have a girlfriend big brother?" Justin smiled.
Chad shook his head and crossed his arms. "You’re too much, you know that? But since you asked, I will be seeing Theresa."
"Well its about time." Justin smiled.
"You can say that again."
Justin grinned. "Now that you have a fine looking woman, why don’t you hook me up with one?"
"Tell ya what, I’ll get you a woman." Chad laughed.
"Really man?"
"Of course, when you become a man. And the way I figure it 15 isn’t a man." Chad smiled.
"Hey that’s low." Justin grumbled. "So do we have any cereal with those little marshmallows left? I’m starved."
"Yeah big man, on the counter." Chad said.
"Cool, I just love those little marshmallows." He said walking past Chad.
Chad shook his head, his life was good, finally things were all going right and knowing that Theresa had feelings for him made his life near perfect.

Julian held the phone and smiled, "Yes, I want to make sure everything is ready." He said into the phone."
"No, my guest must be here for my party, yes its a must. Now whatever you do just get it done." He said hanging up.
He sighed as he looked around, he was being good, people were beginning to like him, He Julian Crane had friends for the first time in a long time. Picking up the phone he dialed another number after a few rings a female voice answered.
"Hello?"
"Theresa dear?"
"Yes, Julian is that you?" Theresa questioned.
"That’s right. I wanted to call and make sure you didn’t have plans for the weekend."
"No, Not at the moment."
"Well that’s great! Ivy and I are having a party, a party to show our love for one another, and I want you to be there. "
"You and Ivy in love, how could I miss that?" Theresa laughed. "I think its so wonderful. "
"Oh it is. Now can you tell Miguel and Chad? They must be there also." Julian smiled.
"Of course Julian."
"And Ivy is inviting your mother, make sure Pilar does come. I think it will be wonderful for her."
"Mama is doing much better, this might just help her even more. I’ll be sure to talk to her."
"Great dear. This is going to be such a wonderful night. For all of us." Julian added as he hung up.

Gwen walked down the stairs of her home, knowing who was standing at the bottom of the stairs, and knowing what she would soon hear.
"Gwen darling come down here this instant." The voice rang out.
"Mother how wonderful to see you." She said as she came closer to Rebecca.
"Is it really? Its been long enough darling." Rebecca sighed. "Gwen I’ve been hearing horrible rumors about you at the club. Your name is being trashed darling."
"Trashed? How is it being trashed." Gwen sighed.
"Your friends have been seeing you with those boring commons." Rebecca frowned. "Its just terrible, Candy said you are dating that Montel boy. Tell me that isn’t so."
"Montel?" Gwen asked.
"Yes dear, that snake Theresa’s brother." Rebecca said her hand on her heart. "It just hurts me so to hear them say things like that.
"Mother, his name is Miguel."
"Oh well whatever. My point is I am defending your honor and you don’t even seem to care. Now I think you should thank me."
"Thank you? For what?" Gwen quizzed.
"Well for defending you of course. I told them you were nothing like those people. That my child would never date a Lopez-Fitzgerald, it was just crazy."
Gwen took a deep breath, she had saw this moment coming from the moment she worked things out with Theresa, and then after the kiss she had shared with Miguel, she had dreaded seeing her mother again.
"Crazy, of course mother."
"So you see, you should think me for my help."
Gwen smiled. "But mother the rumors are all true."
Rebecca shook her head. "Gwen don’t tease your mother like that. It isn’t funny."
"Mother it isn’t a joke, I am friends with Theresa, and I went out with Miguel."
"Gwenie no!" Rebecca yelled as the doorbell rang.
Gwen walked over and opened the door coming face to face with Miguel. "I hope this isn’t a bad time." Miguel smiled.
"What is he doing here?" Rebecca yelled her eyes becoming wide.
Gwen could only smile as she looked at Miguel. "He’s here to see me, mother."
"So you are really dating, this, this, boy?" Rebecca shrieked.
Miguel grinned arching his eyebrow, "Yeah Gwen are you really dating this boy here?"
Gwen smiled. "Yes I believe I am." She said as her mother passed out onto the floor.
