The Ultimate Betrayal - Chapter 1 (Eve's Confession)
by Spongebob_rules

summary: Julian and Rebecca's wedding day approaches, Eve realizes that she cannot live without Julian. Not thinking Eve tries to rush to the church to stop the wedding but is too late. Eve follows Julian to his honeymoon destination, will she make the ultimate betrayal? Also the due dates approach for the dancing babies.

Liz grinned broadly. She had been sneaking around the church, rolling her eyes in annoyance as she listened to Rebecca working herself up into a panick over walking down the isle.

"I bet Eve wishes she was the one walking down that isle with Julian," Liz said. Liz smirked. "Forget exposing your sordid past, Eve, at least for now. Instead of making you loose your family, I'll make sure you loose both men. You'll lose Julian to Rebecca, and TC to me!" Liz said. Liz couldn't wait to torment Eve over the fact that Julian was forced into marrying someone he didn't love because Eve couldn't tell TC the truth. She couldn't wait to rub it in Eve's face that she could have had Julian for herself if TC would have found out all about her secrets. No, Liz would make her plan better than ever and torment her older sis knowing that she was being forced to lose the man she loved, again. Then she'd hit Eve right where it hurt and move in on TC.

"Nothing like pouring salt into an open wound to spice up your life." Liz said. Liz quickly hid when Julian walked by, she knew that she'd be dead meat if she was caught by Julian. "I would antagonize Julian, but I'll let this play out on its own."

      "Mother calm down!" Gwen said.

"Calm down? Calm down? I'm about ready to marry Julian Crane and you're telling me to calm down?" Rebecca asked, panic in her voice. The organ music started to play 'Here comes the bride.' "Oh why didn't I have a different song requested, that music is making me even more nervous."

"Mother, you're going to hold up the wedding." Gwen said. Rebecca took a deep breath to calm herself down. Gwen had to pry Rebecca away from the mirror to keep her from checking every last detail of her dress for the thousandth time to make sure it looked alright.

"Mother," Gwen said impatiently, dragging Rebecca away from the mirror.

"Oh I knew I shouldn't have watched Runaway Bride the other day," Rebecca said. Gwen was now shoving Rebecca out of the room. Rebecca had managed to walk down the aisle and exchange wedding vows with Julian, Ethan was his best man.

Meanwhile, Eve quickly drove her car to the church, going at least twenty miles over the speed limit. Without thinking, she had jumped in her car at the last second and decided that she couldn't loose Julian again.

"I can't loose you again, Julian, I just can't- I-I love you too much!" Eve said, her voice shaking. Eve had managed to loose the police cars that were chasing her. Once she arrived at the church, Eve slammed on the breaks. Eve rushed inside to see Julian and Rebecca kiss after saying 'I do.' The part about objecting had been left out of the ceremony. "Oh no, I'm too late," Eve said. Unable to stay and watch another second, Eve ran out of the church. Once she was back inside her car, she broke down into sobs. "Why do I keep loosing the people I love?" Eve sobbed. Eve flashed back to all of the happy times that she had shared with Julian. Once she was reliving those flashbacks, it had felt like nothing else mattered. "I tried, Julian," Eve said in devestation before leaving the parking lot. Eve had heard where Julian was going for his honeymoon. "I couldn't-" Eve said. Eve knew that she'd regret it for the rest of her life if she didn't tell Julian how much she ached for him, how much she still loved him. "I have to tell him," Eve said.

Later that day, Julian and Rebecca arrived at their honeymoon destination. On the outside, Julian couldn't have acted like a happier groom if he tried, but he felt like he was dying on the inside, his heart full of regrets, and longing for Eve. Barely able to withhold his lovesick looks for the life he couldn't have because he was too afraid to stand up to his father, Julian took the key from the front desk clerk, meanwhile, Rebecca was practically hopping up and down like a hyperactive teeny bopper pulling him towards the room, almost incoherently and repetitively using the word 'pookey.' Rebecca put the key card into the door, and realized that Julian wasn't answering her. "Are you listening to me, pookey?"

"What was that, my pet?" Julian asked, trying his best not to sound distracted.

"I was wondering where you wanted to start first on our list of honeymoon-activities." Rebecca said. Unable to focus on anything at the moment, Julian panicked when he realized that he had completely forgotten the plans for the honeymoon, even though they were already there.

"I hope I can pull this off," Julian thought. "Father will kill me if anything goes wrong." Julian struggled to remember. "Um, why don't you surprise me?" Julian suggested. Rebecca squealed and threw her arms around Julian.

"I will surprise you," Rebecca said, plastering Julian's face with kisses. Julian was beginning to wonder if her surprise involved kissing him until he didn't have any air left in his lungs and suffocated. "But first I'll need to borrow your credit card, mine is with the luggage-" Rebecca said. Julian found his credit card and handed it to Rebecca. "Don't worry, I'll be back before you know it," Rebecca said, quickly plastering Julian off gaurd with another kiss and running off before Julian had time to comment. Julian gasped for breath. Once Rebecca had left, Julian collapsed on the bed.

"WHAT have I gotten myself into?" Julian asked. "First I'm stuck with Icy Ivy for over twenty years, then I'm tricked into thinking I married the evil twin of Elmyra from Tiny Toon Adventures, now Rebecca is a different story altogether- I just can't have a happy medium, can I?" Julian noticed that there wasn't any champage in the room and left the room to find some.

Meanwhile, Eve had been eavesdropping and noticed that both Julian and Rebecca had left the room. She looked at the room number and went down to the front desk. She asked the desk clerk to help her with something, but when he got up, Eve went the opposite direction to create a diversion and found the spare key to Julian and Rebecca's room and went back upstairs. Once she had arrived back at the room she inserted the key card into the slot.

"What am I doing?" Eve asked. Eve tried to comprehend the consequences of what could happen, but she knew that there was no turning back now. A few minutes later, Julian arrived back at the room after finding the champagne. After opening the door, Julian's jaw dropped.

"It can't be," Julian said. Julian was stunned to find Eve in his hotel room. "Eve, what-how?" Julian asked.

"I had to tell you," Eve said.

"Tell me what?" Julian asked.

"That no matter what, you'll always have a place in my heart, Julian," Eve said. Julian had never been more overjoyed in his life.

"I love you, Eve," Julian said. Eve and Julian found themselves in a passionate kiss. Before they knew it, they had collapsed onto the bed and made passionate love. The rest of the world didn't even exist as long as they were together. Unaware of their surroundings or why they were there in the first place, after making love Eve and Julian ended up in the honeymoon suite's hot tub! Their arms wrapped around each other in a kiss, Julian and Eve jumped when they heard the hotel door. Julian realized he had to do something. Eve and Julian got dressed very quickly, quickingly hiding the evidence.

"Don't worry, Eve I won't let you get caught!" Julian said, knowing that Eve had taken a big enough risk coming down here unnoticed. Julian thought fast and created a diversion. Julian quickly threw the bucket of ice into the hot tub and hid the bucket. "Becky, dear can you do me a favor?" Julian asked.

"Julian I can barely get the door open with all of these boxes," Rebecca said.

"Rebecca, why don't you get some ice for the champagne?" Julian asked.

"What about the boxes?" Rebecca asked.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of it," Julian said distractedly. Julian quickly helped Eve escape once he realized that Rebecca was gone. Once Rebecca arrived back at the room after getting some ice, she stuck the hotel key in the slot.

"Wait a minute, why would pookey make me walk all the way down there to get ice while this hotel is known for the best room service around for honeymoon suites?" Rebecca asked. Rebecca laughed off her worries. "Maybe Julian just had some pre-wedding jitters too, that would explain why he doesn't seem to be paying attention to aything lately." Rebecca said. Rebecca went into the room.

"I have to find Sheridan," Luis said. Beth watched in satisfaction.

"Luis I know where Sheridan is, I know where Sheridan is," Beth said on the other side of the room. "She's trapped in the pit in my basement."

Meanwhile, Sheridan begged to be let out of the pit.

"Please get me out," Sheridan said.

"Not after the way you hurt me," Charlie said.

"I've never even met you-" Sheridan said.

"I'm talking about the way you dumb blondes think you own the world." Charlie said. "You can parade around that pit all you want while I go find some more beer." Charlie said.

"So I'm thrown in a pit because I'm a blonde- will someone please tell me what is going on?" Sheridan asked. Sheridan heard something that she could have sworn sounded like orangutan sounds. "I'm losing my mind," Sheridan said. "If that was Precious, than that would have to mean that- no no Beth would never do something like that, come on Sheridan, you're delirious. Someone, get me out of here!" Sheridan said. Sheridan's heart sank as her cries for help were answered by the reply 'dumb blonde.' "I feel like I'm stuck in some bad dream!"
