Theresa smiled deviously as she sent another one on their way. That was at least five down. She was on a roll. She knew that being a Crane would have some advantages and she was finally beginning to use them for good, well at least her good.

Her door opened once again, and it was her secretary, with her a very young attractive looking blonde woman. “Mrs. Crane you have another visitor.” She stated.

Theresa smiled brightly. “That you Celia.” She stated and making a sign for her to leave them alone. “So,” Theresa said standing. “Tell me are you another home owner?”

The blonde let a small smile fall on her lips as she walked over to Theresa’s desk. “Yes Mrs. Crane.” She said in a voice that was some what filled with positive attitude. “My name is Savannah.”

Theresa stuck her hand out, and the blonde shook it. “Pleased to meet you Savannah, have a seat.” She instructed. They both sat. “Mrs. Savannah,”

“Oh please, just Savannah.” The other woman offered. “Mrs. makes me feel so old.”

Theresa smiled. “Well that is some thing we have in common.” She stated. “I may be the wife of the richest man in the world, but hearing Mrs. Crane all day does make me feel some what out of place.” The younger woman only smiled. Theresa was not sure, but there was some thing vaguely familiar about the girl. She studied her some. Her long blonde hair, the way she held her posture with attitude some what made her radiate strength. Her sharp, and yet beautiful blue eyes. There was some thing very, very familiar about this woman.

Ignoring her feeling, Theresa jumped right to the point. “Well okay, Savannah,” She said remembering the request to be on a first name basis. “I’ll be brief. I know that Ethan Winthrop and his.....” She cleared her throat some. “..wife, Gwen Winthrop were supposed to see you about an apartment today.”

Savannah frowned some. “Well yes, but I don’t see what that has to do with us meeting.” She stated.

Theresa smile grew a little more. “Oh but it’s the whole basis of our meeting.” She stated. “Savannah, you are not going to give Ethan and his wife the apartment that they talked to you about.”

“I’m sorry?” Savannah questioned. “But did you say not?” She asked.

“I didn’t stutter.” Theresa stated that cocky smile never leaving her lips. “Ethan, nor Gwen will be excepting a home from you not now, and if I have any thing to say about it, not ever.”

Savannah squared her shoulders, as if becoming defensive. “Well frankly Mrs. Crane I do not see what you have to do with it.” She stated. “Mr. and Mrs. Winthrop both come from good back grounds, from when I talked to Ethan on the phone he said that they had good credit. I even checked it out myself, and they....well at least Gwen does. Why would I not want to take them up on there offer?” She asked.

Theresa smiled and looked down at her desk, and began searching through files. Savannah watched her raising a perfectly good eye brow to show her suspicion. “What are you doing?” She asked.

“Just a second.” Theresa stated still rummaging through files. After a minute of looking, and Savannah starring at her as if she’d lost her mind, she looked up. “Well it isn’t here.” She said out loud her smile leaving her face.

Savannah suddenly had a smile upon her face, a very cocky, sly almost evil smile. “You wouldn’t happen to be looking for this would you?” She asked. From her lap she pulled out a folder, on the tab was written her name, Savannah, Grey.

Theresa tensed some as she saw the file. “Where did you get that?” She asked.

Savannah shook her head. “That’s not important.” She stated. “What’s important is this,” She then reached under the front of Theresa’s desk and pulled out what appeared to be a tape recorder. “And every last person you have black mailed today has been recorded.”

Theresa looked back at the woman in utter shock, and some what fear. “How...how dare you invade my privacy like that?” She demanded standing up.

Savannah still had her sly smile from where she sat in the chair. “What’s the matter Theresa?” She asked. “Not much fun when your on the receiving end is it?” She asked.

Theresa narrowed her eyes suspiciously. “Who are you?” She asked. “Because I suddenly don’t by for a minute your an apartment owner.”

“I’m not.” Savannah stated. “But a friend of mine is. She was supposed to meet with you, but she’s sick. So I took it upon myself to come and meet you, get a little dirt on you and I have to say, I am surprised Theresa. I always thought Pilar raised such a sanctimonious brood.”

Theresa felt very confused, and very upset. “Just how do you know my mother?” She asked. “And who are you.”

Before Savannah could say any more, the front door swung open, and on the other side in walked Ethan and Fox. Ethan of course, with that uncomfortable look upon his face, however, it suddenly changed when he saw the woman in a chair.

“Oh, Theresa were sorry is this a bad time?” He asked. “Because Fox and I....”

Theresa nodded her head feelings her nerves began to rise. “Yes Ethan actually this isn’t the best..."

Suddenly Savannah stood and faced the two men, and a big smile spread across Ethan’s face. “Well my God,” He stated. “I don’t believe it. Savannah?” He questioned.

Savannah smiled brightly as she went to Ethan and embraced him. “Hey sport, how you been?” She asked hugging him.

Ethan smile grew even more as he hugged the younger woman. “My God it has been ages.” He stated. He then placed on a wounded look. “I mean you don’t call, you never write, what am I to think?”

Savannah hit his arm playfully as they separated. “I know, but I have been busy.” She stated her eyes fell back on Theresa. “Doing a lot of home work.” She winked some and then looked to Fox. “Well if it is not Mr., bad boy himself?” She asked.

Fox gave her a half a smile as she gave him a quick hug. “Long time no see Vannah.” He stated. “How you been?”

“Real good.” Savannah stated. “And you?” She asked.

Fox shrugged. “Never can keep a good Fox down.” He stated.

“Your even working now I hear.” Savannah stated. “Finally starting to pull your weight around here?”

Fox smiled. “One does what one must do.” He said looking cockily at Ethan, and smiling.

Theresa stood from behind her desk now filled with fear. She had to wring her hands together to keep them from shaking. “So-so wait you guys know this woman?” She asked.

Savannah looked back to Theresa, and placed on a pleasant smile. “Oh, Theresa I am sorry how could I have forgot to mention this.” She stated walking closer to the desk. “My name is Savannah Lillian Crane.”

Theresa’s entire face seemed to pale some. “Crane?” She echoed.

“That’s right.” Savannah said nodding her head. “First born of Julian and Ivy together, and Ethan and Fox’s sister. But you know me by my married name, Grey.”

Theresa had to grab the edge of her desk to steady herself to keep from passing out. “Sister?” She echoed. “I see.”

Fox unlike his brother quickly picked up on the fact that Theresa was at a loss for words, and looked really upset for some reason. “Theresa, is every thing alright?” He asked walking up to her.

Theresa looked up at him, and some how managed to muster a smile. “I....um, I guess I am just feeling a little dizzy.” She stated. “I haven’t eaten all day, and Little Ethan was fussy all last night and I stayed up late with him.”

Ethan now being concerned walk over to her. “Well are you sure you don‘t want to go home?” He asked. “I mean, Fox and I can handle things over hear.”

Theresa quickly shook her head. “No, I am sure it will pass because it came on so quickly.” She stated.

Savannah smiled feeling triumphant at Theresa’s obviousness nervousness. “Well Theresa I see your sick,” She stated gathering her portfolio and the tape recorder and placing them in her purse. “I had just stopped by to introduce myself because we had never met.”

Theresa let her eyes flutter up to meet Savannah’s. “No, please don't rush off.” She stated. “I ...I am interested in getting to know you better.”

Savannah smiled. “Oh believe me, we will have plenty of time for that.” She stated. “But right now, I really want to go see my mother, I know she is no longer living at the mansion because the two of you had ......difficulties.” She said only narrowing her eyes for only a brief second, then smiling again. “Ethan, you know where she’s staying could you please show me there? I am really with out a clue to where the Bennett’s live.”

Ethan nodded his head and looked to Theresa. “Are you sure you will be alright?” He asked.

Before Theresa could speak, Fox spoke for her. “Don’t worry bro.” He said winking and flashing his charming but mischievous smile. “I promise to take care of her.”

Ethan narrowed his eyes some, and reluctantly let go of Theresa, but not before telling her to be careful, and then walking to his sister. “Are you ready?” He asked the smile returning to his face.

Savannah nodded her head. “As I’ll ever be.” She stated.

Ethan nodded his head. “Good because we have a lot of catching up to do.” He stated. “How are Bruce and that little girl of yours.”

Savannah smiled as Ethan went on about his excitement with Gwen being pregnant, and before leaving she looked back at Theresa, and winked once more before she and Ethan left the room.

When they were gone, Fox walked to the door, closed it then looked back to Theresa. “So, you want to feel me in on what’s really going on?” He asked as she sat back in her chair.

Theresa looked up at him, her eyes clouded some what. “Just another woman out to get me.” She stated. “And this time, I think she may actually stand a chance.”

Ivy smiled thankfully at Jessica Bennett as the younger girl handed her a tray of toast, bacon, orange juice and a napkin on the kitchen table. “Oh, well how sweet of you.” She stated.

Jessica smiled tensely. “It’s nothing really.” She stated. “I usually do it for mom on her days off, and dad said it would be nice if I did it for you.”

Ivy’s eyes lit up with hidden excitement at the thought of Sam thinking of her. “Well do tell your father I am very grateful.”

Jessica nodded her head. “Every one is pretty much out for the morning.” She stated. “My mom had to run to the B and B, my dad s at work and.....” She sighed heavily. “Well you know the situation with Kay. It has Charity so broken up she is still up in her room.”

Ivy nodded her head. “Yes, I am terribly sorry you are all in so much turmoil over her pregnancy.” She stated. “At a time like this in a young woman’s life she should be happy, not feeling as though the whole world is against her.”

Jessica only nodded her head but said nothing. A knock at the door turned her around, and she went on her way to answer it.

From outside, Eve entered the house smiling at Jessica. “Good morning Jessica.” She said letting her into the kitchen.

“Good morning Dr. Russell.” Jessica said thankful that some one besides she and Ivy were here.

As Eve stepped fully into the kitchen she stopped in surprise to see Ivy, eating. “Ivy?” She questioned. “What are you doing here so early.”

Ivy smiled up at Eve after taking a bit of juice. “Sam allowed me to spend the night.” She informed.

Eve looked down at Ivy as if she had suddenly sprouted a second head. “I’m sorry?” She asked. “Spend the night? Why?”

Ivy’s eyes instantly narrowed as she looked away from Eve. “Theresa thought it was fitting to evict me from my own home last night.” She stated. “So Sam graciously allowed me to stay here.”

Eve looked down at Ivy suspiciously, then to Jessica. “Jess honey, would you please run to Tabitha’s and tell Kay that I wanted to talk to her?” She asked. “About the baby.”

Jessica nodded her head, knowing when she was being sent away. “Yes ma’am.” She said happy to leave the room.

As she left, Eve fell into a chair next to Ivy. “You just keep spinning you web don’t you Ivy?” She asked. “You just never stop plotting.”

“Excuse me?” Ivy said looking at Eve. “It is not my fault that, that little bitch kicked me out last night.” A smile fell on her lips. “But having Sam come to my rescue felt just like old times when he saved me all those summers ago on the beach.”

Eve rolled her eyes. “Please Ivy,” She stated. “Keep your head out of the clouds. Sam was only doing a decent thing, but God knows you don’t deserve it for every thing that you have done to me.”

Ivy rolled her eyes as if to dismiss Eve. “Well that’s enough about me Eve,” She stated. “You know I have been hearing some interesting facts about you, and I do mean facts.”

Eve tensed some under Ivy’s some what cocky glare. “What are you spying on me now?” She asked.

Ivy laughed some. “Oh Eve please,” She stated. “You should know by now I have people watching every where, on every one who has been of use to me and is still of use to me now.”

“Meaning?” Eve asked.

“This Liz woman.” Ivy stated. “Your.....sister, shall we call her.”

Eve narrowed her eyes hatefully at Ivy. “You bitch.” She cursed. “What gives you the right to........”

“Well good you're not denying it.” Ivy stated. “So glad to see you are finally opening up to your past of drugs sex and music. Or well at least it is catching up to you.”

“What do you want Ivy?” Eve asked, knowing the woman was up to some thing. “What are you going to black mail me into doing this time.”

Ivy shrugged. “Well now Eve I want a lot of things.” She stated. “Don’t worry you haven’t come into play yet, but you eventually will.”

“Let me guess.” Eve stated. “You have a plan.”

“Yes.” Ivy answered bluntly. “But don’t worry, it has nothing to do with Sam and Grace.” She informed. “Between David, and Kay their marriage is bound to crumble. What I will eventually need you for is finally disposing of Theresa.”

Eve shook her head in disgust. “Just from one person to another huh Ivy?” She stated. “Not giving a damn who gets hurt.”

Ivy shrugged. “Well Eve I learned a long time ago that no one looks out for you but yourself.” She stated. “You either take it all, or end up with nothing, and I have had nothing for far too long. Not only am I going to have my revenge on all that have wronged me, but I am also going to get the love of my life back, and I am going to do it soon. I swear it.”

Eve looked at Ivy with nothing but contempt, wishing there was some way to put a stop to her. To her evil, and malice, but she knew that she would be getting in over her head, Ivy was a black Widow who had spun her into her web of lies, and she was caught in them, to do with as she saw fit.
