When We Are Left With Nothing - Chapter  4 :Waking Up Next To Luis(Gwen/Luis)
by Spongebob_rules

The next morning, Gwen awoke. She gasped when she realized that she was running her hand through Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald's hair! "What the-" Gwen said. Gwen remembered the night before. After Luis had saved her from drowning, he drove her home after taking her to the hospital to make sure that the baby was ok, then they had talked for a while about their problems with Antonio and Sheridan, and Ethan and Theresa.
"We must have fallen asleep," Gwen said. Gwen shook Luis and tried to wake him up. In his sleep, Luis smiled at Gwen.
"I love you," Luis said, and pulled Gwen into a kiss!
"Luis," Gwen said, but it was no use trying to wake him up. A few seconds later, Luis snapped out of it. He looked around in surpise to realize that he was in Gwen's apartment.
"Gwen?" Luis asked in surpise. Luis realized that he had just kissed Gwen! "Oh my God, Gwen, I'm sorry, I was dreaming, I must have thought you were-"
"It's ok, Luis," Gwen said. Luis realized that it was light outside. "Oh no, what time is it?" Luis asked. Gwen looked at her watch. "Ten o'clock." Gwen said. "It's a good thing my shift at the Book Cafe isn't until later," Gwen thought.
"Oh no, I'm late for work!" Luis said.
"Luis, thanks for everything, you know, last night," Gwen said.
"Gwen, I'm sorry about falling asleep, and well, when I woke up-" Luis said.
"Luis, don't worry about it," Gwen said.

Rebecca rang the doorbell at the Bennett house.
"Oh, when are the servants going to answer the door-" Rebecca laughed hysterically. "Oops- I almost forgot- they don't have servants!" Rebecca smirked. "I hope Ivy is enjoying the never changing menu of having to be served tomato soup cake with every meal!" Rebecca rang the door bell and knocked on the door. "Hello? Hello!" Rebecca said. Rebecca continued to knock on the door and tapped her foot impatiently. "I figured that Charity would have premonitions when someone is at the door and let them in," Rebecca said with a frustrated sigh. "Hello, anybody home?"
"What is that noise?" Ivy asked. Fox looked out the window.
"Mother, you might need these to tune out the annoying chatter." Fox said. Fox handed Ivy some ear plugs.
"What are these for?" Ivy asked.
"I'll give you a hint." Fox said. Fox copied Rebecca's facial expressions and waved his hands around in the air and laughed hysterically at his impersonation.
"Fox, I asked who was at the door, not to play cherades." Ivy said. Fox smirked again. "Oh no."
"Yes, she annoys me so much I can't even use her name in a sentence without wanting to barricade myself in my room for the rest of my life." Fox said. "You'll need these to tune out constant use of the word pookey." Fox said.
"Save yourself before it's too late," Ivy advised.
"Ok." Fox said. Fox left.

"How long does it take to answer a door?" Rebecca asked. Grace opened the door.
"Sorry I took so long, I was just finishing making a tamato soup cake," Grace said. Grace opened the door the rest of the way. "Rebecca, what are you doing here?"
"Is Ivy home?" Rebecca asked. Grace glared at Rebecca. "Was it something I said?" Rebecca asked.
"Yes, Ivy is upstairs, but this is not her home, Rebecca." Grace said.
"I really need to talk to Ivy," Rebecca said. "It's kind of important." Without waiting for a reply, Rebecca pushed past Grace and walked up the stairs. Sam walked into the room.
"What is she doing here?" Sam asked. Grace shut the door behind her.
"Rebecca kind of invited herself in," Grace said.
"Ivy! I really need to talk to you!" Rebecca said. "About Ethan and Theresa!" Rebecca expected Ivy to go ballistic at the words Ethan and Theresa being used in the same sentence, but Ivy just flipped through a magazine as if no one was in the room. "Ivy! I know I laughed when you were kicked out of the mansion, but we have a crisis on our hands! This is no time for the silent treatment!" Rebecca walked up to Ivy and grabbed the magazine out of her hands. Ivy looked up and screamed. Rebecca screamed back. Ivy screamed.
"Don't sneak up on me like that!" Ivy said.
"I never sneaked up on you!" Rebecca said.
"Huh?" Ivy asked. Ivy pulled the ear plugs out of her ears.
"Oh, I see Fox beat me here." Rebecca said. Rebecca picked up the magazine that Ivy was reading. "Oh no, Ivy, they've gotten to you!"
"What are you talking about?" Ivy asked.
"It's not too late!" Rebecca said. "You can still get out of here and move into a hotel before they teach you how to make tomato soup cakes!" Rebecca said. "Is it really as bad as I hear? Do they really sing supercalifragilisticespialidocious when they clean the house?" Rebecca opened Ivy's closet.
"Hey, get out of there!" Ivy said. Ivy started to throw things at Rebecca.
"Good, there aren't any demons inside." Rebecca said. Rebecca picked up the magazine Ivy was reading.
"Give that back!" Ivy said. Rebecca gasped.
"Superior home-making? Ivy, what have they done to you?" Rebecca asked.
"For your information, Rebecca, I'm trying to plan on how I'm going to redecorate this place once Grace is shipped off after they end up on Divorce Court." Ivy said.
"Ivy, Ivy, Ivy, pookey and I haven't even got a chance to use Theresa's tacky little vases as target practice!" Rebecca said.
"Just tell me what you're doing here," Ivy said.
"We have to think of how to get Ethan away from Theresa!" Rebecca said.
"Give it up, Rebecca, I don't see that happening in this mellinium." Ivy said.
"Ivy, you're Ethan's mother, you don't really want to see your precious Ethan get fired from his job when he keeps trying to help Theresa get custody of little Ethan," Rebecca said.
"No, of course not, but I'll worry about Ethan's life." Ivy said, putting extra emphasis on the word 'I'll'.
"But Ivy, what if Ethan ends up marrying Theresa-"
Rebecca said.
"Why don't you just take everyone else's advice and butt out, Rebecca?" Ivy asked.
"But Ivy!" Rebecca whined.
"Here's some advice you should really consider following." Ivy said. "Butt out, and get out." Ivy said. Rebecca arrogantly left the room. Ivy's cellphone rang. Rebecca pretended to leave but listened outside the door. "David, I've been expecting your call!" Ivy said. "Meet me in my room." Ivy said. Rebecca's eyes widened.
"Maybe I can find out what Ivy and David are always meeting about!" Rebecca whispered. A few seconds later, Rebecca heard footsteps and hid around a corner when David was walked into the room. Once David was inside, Rebecca listened in.
"David, this is amazing, Sam and Grace will be signing divorce papers if we keep this up much longer!" Ivy said.
"I don't know, Ivy," David said.
"Don't tell me you're getting all gushy again," Ivy said.

"I was watching Grace and Sam talk on the camera, she just looks so sad when they argue," David said. "She looks like she's desperately trying to keep her life from falling apart."
"David, if you don't break up Sam and Grace, I'll make sure that your son John knows all about your past." Ivy said. Rebecca gasped.
"Ivy really is blackmailing him!" Rebecca thought.
"What was Rebecca doing here?" David asked.
"Trying to get me to help keep Ethan away from Theresa," Ivy said. "I'll take care of Ethan's problems myself." Ivy said.
"Sounds like a plan," David said. Ivy grinned.
"Rebecca might be the one still living at the mansion, but I can always take satisfaction knowing that she still doesn't have a clue about Julian's past." Ivy said.
"What about pookey's past?" Rebecca whispered.
"Rebecca doesn't have a clue that Julian still hasn't got over his first love." Ivy said. "She doesn't have a clue that his first love still has a place in his heart."
"What!?" Rebecca thought. "What is Ivy talking about?"
"The best thing is, I'm using that she was involved with Julian to make sure she helps me get Sam back!" Ivy gloated. "And Rebecca doesn't have a clue!" Ivy laughed.
"That's rediculous," Rebecca said. "Julian better not be cheating on me again!"
"The best part is, Rebecca knows who Julian's first love, and she still hasn't figured it out yet!" Ivy laughed. "And unless she does everything I say, Rebecca will never know that they were involved!" Ivy said. "Though I don't know how anyone could literally love Julian. I wouldn't have had anything to do with him if I wouldn't have been tricked into marrying him. Rebecca has even walked in on him listening to that blues tape when Julian is depressed and still hasn't figured out who is singing it!"
"I'm going to figure this out myself!" Rebecca said. Rebecca left the Bennett house.
"I really have to go, I'm late for work," Luis said. Luis apologized to Gwen again before leaving. "We must have just fallen asleep when we were talking," Luis thought. Rebecca knocked on the door after Luis left. Gwen opened the door. "Mother, what are you doing here?" Gwen asked.
"Gwennie, I really need to talk to you." Rebecca said. "You were right."
"About what?" Gwen asked.
"About everything you said the other day." Rebecca said.
"What made you admit I was right?" Gwen asked.
"Well, I went to the Bennetts to try to talk Ivy into breaking up Ethan and Theresa." Rebecca confessed.
"Mother, I thought I told you not to-" Gwen said.
"Both Ivy and Julian said that I should butt out, then I was eavesdropping on Ivy and David Hastings, and I overheard them talking about that tape that Julian is always listening to. They were laughing that I couldn't figure out who the singer was, because Julian used to be involved with her a long time ago. Ivy said that I would never figure out who it was, but it was someone that I knew." Rebecca said.
"You mean that tape that Julian is constantly listening to? It's always the same singer. I knew Julian liked the music, but he is obsessed with that singer!" Gwen said. Rebecca sat down on the sofa, then looked surpised when she found something on the sofa. "Gwen, what is this doing here?" Rebecca asked.
"Oh no, Luis must have left his badge!" Gwen said.
"Luis was here?" Rebecca asked. "Did he have his shirt off?"
"Mother," Gwen said, rolling her eyes. "Yes, Luis was here, he was dropping me off, then we were talking about the situation with Sheridan and Antonio, and Ethan and Theresa, then we fell asleep."
"Gwennie, Gwennie, Gwennie!" Rebecca said. "I can't believe that you let that opportunity just slip through your fingers! I mean, this is Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald we're talking about! He might be a Lopez-Fitzgerald, but what were you thinking?"
"Mother!" Gwen said. "Luis and I just fell asleep, he accidentally kissed me when we woke up because he was dreaming-" Gwen said.
"Ok, ok, fine, I'll butt out-" Rebecca said. "Wait, why did Luis bring you back here?"
"He saved me when I was leaning against the railing and it broke then I fell off of the wharf," Gwen explained. Rebecca threw her arms around Gwen.
"Oh, Gwennie!" Rebecca said, freaking out.

Fox had been lurking around the Bennett house seeing if there was any mischief to get into before going to the mansion. Fox looked through Tabitha's window when he heard Reese and Jessica laughing.
"Reese, cut it out!" Jessica said.
"I'm gonna get you!" Reese said. Reese chased Jessica.
"Oh, grow up!" Jessica teased with a laugh. Fox rolled his eyes. Fox kept watching through Tabitha's window.
"Hey, what's that Bennett girl doing with Tabitha Lennox?" Fox asked. Fox noticed that Kay was looking into a bowl and talking to it. His eyes widened as he noticed that Tabitha was starting to float in the air. "What the hell is going on!?" Fox exclaimed. Fox fell off of the trash can he was standing on.
"Did you hear that!?" Jessica exclaimed. Jessica and Reese rushed over to see Fox lying on the ground with a shocked look on his face.
"What are you doing here!?" Reese asked. Reese raised his fist.
"Alright, geek, don't punch me," Fox said sarcastically.
"I'm not a geek!" Reese said. Reese looked at Jessica. "Am I a geek?" Reese asked.
"Fox, what are you doing here?" Jessica asked.
"Oh, I was just talking to mother then I noticed that Tabitha has magic powers," Fox said.
"Fox, even I had to admit that Tabitha wasn't a witch," Reese said. Fox dragged Reese and Jessica over to the window.
"Well, explain that!" Fox said. Fox pointed to Kay, who was floating in the air.
"Tabitha, I think I read the wrong spell!" Kay said.
"No, you didn't, Kay, you must be finding your powers!" Tabitha said.
"Oh great, and I thought just morning sickness was annoying!" Kay said. "Tabitha, we're in trouble!" Reese, Kay and Fox stared at Kay and Tabitha in shock.
"Ok, I need to call Doctor Russel and have her prescribe some different medication." Reese said.
"Medication?" Fox asked.
"Yeah, I kept going around telling everyone that Tabitha is a witch because this one day I went to Tabitha's house and there was this whole room full of babies, then the babies disappeared, and you're not going to believe this." Reese said.
"Believe what?" Fox asked.
"The doll stole my dad's car!" Reese said.
"Doll?" Fox asked.
"Yeah, she had this red hair and these really big bows, a really creepy dress with little pink bows on it, and you're not going to believe this." Reese said.
"I'm afraid to ask," Fox said.
"She had staples on her head!" Reese said.
"No way!" Fox said. Fox wondered why he kept catching his dad talk to Tabitha. "Maybe Tabitha put some kind of a spell on him?" Fox thought.
