Theresa entered Chad’s apartment and smiled. "Thank goodness he gave me a key." She said out loud flipping the lights on. Her mind was rushing with thoughts, Julian Crane still cared about Eve. She had heard him whispering under his breath. She smiled. "Luis always said listen closely to what people say." She said as her cell phone rang.

"Hello?" She said still beaming.

"Sis, its Luis, where are you?" He asked almost in a whisper.

"At Chad’s waiting on him. Why?" She asked.

"Just wondering. Sis what are you up to?" He blurted.

Theresa held back a giggle, Sheridan hadn’t told him, she thought with a smile, "Up to? Nothing Luis."

"Sher said you was up to something. What is it Theresa?" What kind of trouble are you getting yourself in now." He contuined still whispering.

"Luis, does Sheridan know your talking to me?" Theresa asked.

"No, she told me to leave you alone." He grumbled.

"Well shouldn’t you listen to your wife? I mean isn’t she usually right?" Theresa teased.

"Theresa! I’m serious what’s going on?" Luis commanded raising his voice.

"Nothing. Don’t worry Luis. I’m just helping my future husband with something. I’ll be fine."

Luis sighed. "But." He began as Theresa cut him off.

"I knew you’d ask Sheridan. Your so predictable Luis." Theresa laughed.

"I am not." He denied.

"Are too." She giggled.

"Just be careful." He said his voice as a very small whisper.

"Tell Theresa I said hi." A female voice bounded on the phone. Theresa held back a huge laugh that was leaping from her mouth.

"How’d you know?" Luis asked the other person.

"Your so predictable Luis. I walk out of the room and you call your sister." Sheridan’s voice rung out.

"Gotta go sis, Sher says Hi." A guilty Luis said hanging up the phone.

Theresa shook her head, "These men in my life are going to be the death of me yet." She sighed falling down on Chad’s couch. "But oh how I love them." She smiled.

A knock at the door lifted Theresa from her thoughts. "Who in the world?" She wondered walking over to the door.

Opening the door she stared at a young woman, her age maybe younger. Theresa stared her, her long blonde hair and shining blue eyes were very familiar.

"Can I help you?" Theresa questioned, knowing she had saw that face before.

"Theresa Lopez-Fitgerald, I’ve heard so much about you." The girl smirked, her tone made Theresa uneasy.

"Um, do I know you?" She questioned.

"You mean you don’t know who I am?" The girl asked putting her hand on her heart.
"I’m shocked after all we were almost family. And wait I believe you’ve still found a way to get into the Crane money." She laughed tossing her hair to the side.

Theresa felt her heart fall, "Wait! I saw you in pictures, your." She started to answer but got cut off.

"That’s right, I’m Jasolyn Crane, Julian Crane’s daughter. And I’m here to meet my new brother." She said with a eye roll.

Chad walked by the park a smile across his whole face. His mother had loved his father, very much so he would guess. Soon he would have them back together, he could feel it.
"Hey Chad." He heard a voice yell turning around he saw the girl he had spoke with in the park.

"Lori right?" He asked as she ran up to him, she had on her cut off jeans and a baggy tshirt.

"Wow your dressed different." He said remembering the fancy designer clothes he had saw her in before.

"Yeah, its called rebelling." She laughed. "My parents think buying me the world will make all my problems go away so, I got out the oldest thing in my closet."

"Your parent’s they’re well off huh?" Chad asked.

She gave him a smirk, "If your asking if I have money then yeah, we’re loaded. Not Crane loaded but we have money."

"Well consider yourself lucky."

She shook her head, crossing her arms, "No, I’d be lucky if I had two parents who not only loved me, but at least were around. Instead I get to spend time with either my computer or Sara the housekeeper. "

Chad frowned, he couldn’t believe a girl so bright had to live dreading each new day. "I’m real sorry about that. "

She nodded, "So gonna hook your parents up?"

"Yeah, I wanta try. "

"Won’t be easy, but I did see that look in their eyes. If you know what you're doing they still have a shot." She said talking more like a twenty year old then a 13 year old.

"I really wanna see them both happy. Just don’t know where to begin."

Lori snickered, "Well I tried locking my parents in a room together.. That backfired on me though."

Chad gave her a strange look. "How did that backfire?"

"They fought over which one of them was going to get me during the summer, since they’d see me more in the summer. " She began.

"So who won?" Chad asked.

"Mother." She said blankly.

"Oh so you spent the summer with your mom huh?" Chad asked with a smile.

"Nope. Spent it with dad."

"But I thought you said?" Chad began.

Lori laughed. "Your not getting this are you Chad? Well must be the Crane in ya. See they we’re fighting because neither one wanted me, not because they both did. I wound up staying with dad for a week then heading to some dumb camp."

"Whoa. "

"Yeah well, you live, you learn. Anyway, just don’t do anything to fast with your parents. Ease into the hook up. Dinners as a family, reminding them how they felt once, stuff like that. Let them see how good it could be again." Lori explained.

"Thanks. I’ll do just that." Chad told the girl.

"Good talking to ya again, I think I’m gonna head to the country club."

"Why you doing that?"

She arched her eyebrow and smirked. "Mother is there with all her high society friends. I’m thinking dressed like a total slob should ruin her day all together, just think of all the talk." She laughed. "See ya Chad." She said walking off.

"That girl’s going places." He said shaking his head with a wild grin.

"T.C. I don’t want the house." Eve almost yelled on the phone. " I told you that when you filed for divorce." She said putting her hand on her stressed out face. "Look just do whatever, I have work to be done." She said hanging up the phone.

"These divorces are so depressing aren’t they?" A voice from the door said.

Eve looked up, "Julian, what are you doing here?"

"How was breakfast with our son?" He asked.

"Wonderful, simply wonderful."

"Then you had to talk to T.C., must have got your nerves out of shape again."

"Julian, I deserve what ever T.C. throws at me. I lied to him for years, and it was all about YOU." She howled standing up.

Julian grinned, "Oh Eve, you still have that same fire. How I love that fire."

"And your still after one thing! "

"Yes Eve, You." He laughed.

She rolled her eyes, "Tell me Julian has Ivy cleared out the bank accounts?"

"No dear, that leech isn’t getting anything. Not after what she done. "

"She lied for years just like I did, yet she’s a leech?"

Julian smiled, "Oh but the difference is, you lied for love Eve darling. Ivy the old hoot lied for money and power. That makes you two very different women."

"I still lied." Eve said lowering her head.

"Which proves your human. A hot, beautiful human, but still human." He grinned.

Eve shook her head, "You never change do you Julian?"

"I just get better with age my dear. Better with each passing year."

"Ugh. You are so full of yourself, so pig headed, and low down." She began her voice hostile.

"Yes well I must be going, have a meeting here at the hospital. You take care Eve." Julian said sneaking out of the office with a smirk.

Eve sat down in a quick huff. "Oh that man." She yelled with a sigh.
